debra, Jams & Scones is a bit hard to describe. It's fruity and sweet with just a touch of baker (not a lot at all). There is another note to it that makes it more complex that the usual bakery scents, but it's hard for me to say what that is. Here's Carol's description: "A rich, sweet aroma of fresh baked scones filled with strawberry, peaches, grapes and raspberries, mixed with a rich vanilla bakery note!"

 

bigred, I love Berry Bewitching Brew too! It also smells great in bath & body products - perfect for Halloween as well as year round.

I have been burning Vineyard from Yankee all day today and wow is it strong! One of the strongest Ive burned from Yankee in a long time. It is a large jar and the scent is filling my downstairs and even traveling to the second floor. Its a great grape scent.

Hi all! I'm back from my trip!!

 

Had a good conference AND visit with my parents. Plus my mom has a tendency to buy me things, like clothes and haircuts...and I found my MIL an absolutely KILLER gift that I can't wait to give her (although her bday is in October).

 

It's nice to be home. I immediately started a remelt of my last Nene's tart and lit my Michael's pillar, which I have some p0rn of that I will post later. I also noticed some big mushrooms on the wick of my LOL candle -- DH burned it while I was gone!! Pretty cute.

 

It's good to be back!

 

P.S. Jason, how's that YC Green Grass? I am wondering if it will be on sale in June.

 

Christy, I really like the Green Grass candle. If you like the smell of grass, then you'll like this. It's dead on. It's a subtle scent, which is good. I don't think I'd want my house to smell strongly of cut grass.

 

This evening I'm melting LOL's Juniper Breeze. Love it! Also burning two YC jars-Mountain Lake and Storm Watch.

I am burning a candle that my son bought me for Mother's Day from 5th Ave called Sea Shell Wreath. He bought it from a store called Meijer near us. It isn't necessarily a candle that I would have bought, but I really like it. The scent is different than my usual bakery/fruit tendencies...not really flowery, but just nice. He did great in picking it out-considering he has NO experience!!

I just put on Keylime Buttercream from LOL. Cold smell is wonderful; perfect for the 100 degree temp. outside!

Tonight I am melting SH - Berry Lemon Bundt Cake again. Just love it! I can smell the strawberries, lemon, and white cake. Strong with a good throw.

Hey everyone!

 

I am soooo excited, they opened a YC Outlet Store by our Outlets. (LLVV, you have to take a ride there!) So you know I had to go the day I found out. Me and my sister took a trip. Pretty cool store. Lots of seconds, jars that weren't set right, discoloration, but everything smelled good. Lots and lots of jars. You can't use coupons there, but they had large jars 4 for $44 which is a great price if your into jars. I think the medium jars were $12 and the teeny tiny jars were $5. Alot of leftover Xmas stuff half price, the iluma-lids $5, lots of accessories on sale, votive and tealight holders $3, hanging tart burners $17.99. They didn't have much in the way of votives or tarts. I would say they had maybe 20 different tarts. Many of them were Simply Home and I hadn't tried a few of them, there were also some YC scents that I think were older that I hadn't tried, I didn't get much for myself, but my sister spent lots! I think the store is definitely for more of the jar candle person, which is not me. I probably use 2 large jars a year in my basement and thats, but I'll go once a month there, and a couple of times a month to my store at the local mall.

 

So, right now I'm melting the Simply Home Pound Cake that I got last night. Today I had lots going on, from Rosa's I had Lemon Strawberry Poundcake, A Fun Night, Rain, all smelled wonderful, and Can-Do's Pink Sugar Cookies, which was incredibly strong, but much too sweet for me.

K - Strawberry Kiwi - CFTKR - A very nice scent but could be stronger.

 

LR - Earth - Beaded Hemp - I'm actually really liking this one - moderately strong and really good.

 

BR - Fruit Slices - Haley's - I am so in love with this scent - I'll be ordering a lot of it with my next order!

 

Bathroom - Blue Jewel - Brown Bag - This one is actually moderately strong and a very nice ocean scent.
