Good Morning!

 

I made a FUN FIND yesterday when I was rearranging some stuff in my daughter's closet - my stash of Country Chunkie tarts that I got from a contest here on CF!

 

So I have Stud Muffin all over my house! (what would DH say - he's still out of the country! lol)

Off to the grocery store when it opens this morning, for weekly shopping. DS is planning a camp out in the backyard with some friends for their first day of spring / last day of spring break or something like that. I know they'll have fun, but this is DH's department, not mine! lol

 

Please keep my pup Rottini in your thoughts, she suddenly stopped using one of her legs, I spent a fortune at the vet yesterday and got no real answers

 

As for CCCC, I read on FB that Deanna's father passed at the beginning of March. Perhaps it was a lenghty illness, and she was taking care of him, IDK. She was slated to re-open in Jan, had the flu, and then I never heard anything else.

I'm sorry about your pup, Laurie. I hope she starts feeling better!! Hopefully it's something simple and will heal up on it's own.

I think Zoe felt bad about waking me up the other day like that. Yesterday morning she forced her way under the covers to snuggle with me cheek to cheek and take a nap.

Daphne's Lolli Strawberry Bread ~ hope this throws better than the huge chunk I melted yesterday in Celtic Cookies or something like that that had ZERO throw.

 

Was out today to have lunch with a friend and run a few errands. Wanted so badly to stop by at least Kohl's and check out those Food Network melts, but DD #1 was with me. She knows I don't need any more wax!

How's everyone's Friday? I can't believe how fast the week has flown by, I wanted to get so many things done while the kids were off school - oh well, the best laid plans and all that . . .

 

Thanks for all the good wishes about Teeni! No improvement as of now, but I'm hoping for the best. I'm sharing her picture, as you can see, I've had her since she was a little (Teeni) puppy!

 

 

Still enjoying the Stud Muffin by Country Chunkie.

Added Tranquil Oasis in my room and Fresh & Clean in DS room. He's about to have a bunch of boys over for an overnight campout and bonfire, but I'm sure they'll end up in his room with the xbox at some point. Wishful thinking, the Fresh & Clean with 4 teen boys in there - but at least it smells good now!

Also, StormWatch in the bathrooms. . . all of these were handmade by a CF friend

Garden Green by Green Soy candles (picked up at K-mart a LONG time ago, but it smells great, very fresh and green!)

Oh my gosh Laurie...she's the cutest thing ever!!! Did they do a lymes test at the vet? Daisy has stopped using her leg twice....once due to lymes but she had a fever as well. The others times it's due to her "Luxating Patella"....do you know if Teeni has that problem? I do hope she's feeling better soon!

 

Honeybear, I had one batch of crumbles in that scent (My favorite scent) that had almost no throw once. Was yours crumbles?

YC is having a flash sale tomorrow: 2 small tumblers for $20. I'm torn, because I prefer the 2-wicks to the small single wicks, but they have so many I want. Decisions...

Aria - It's absolutely amazing how quickly kids heal - glad he can get back 2 playing hockey! Sounds like a busy but fun day 4 ya'll.

Today is the last of our birthday weekends! Our families are celebrating DH's and my birthday today. The girls are going out for lunch, and the boys are staying in and ordering pizza while hanging out with the little ones, then we'll meet up for birthday cake. Tomorrow my DH surprised me with tickets to a play I've been wanting to see for a few years, "Shen Yun." It's supposed to chronicle the past 5,000 years in Chinese history in dance. He even arranged for my friend to sit for the boys- what a treat!

 

Today I'm melting Toasted Raspberry Coconut Cake from TCC and Berry Cakes from a CF pal- yum!

I'm ending the day with B&BW's Cranberry Woods - such a good scent! :wub: This older candle still isn't burning well so I put the tin foil around it but now I can't see the flames. I'm glad their candles I got this year have burned beautifully, tho!
