What a wonderful morning! Hope everyone is enjoying it where you are(even if the weather isn't as great as it is in MO). I am starting off the day in goodie mode- Cupcake-Scentsationals Chocolate Raspberry Moelleux-Blue Gecko Rocky Road Ice Cream-LOL I am also enjoying some sugar free chocolate pudding for breakfast(don't tell the kids ) I did walk 4 miles this morning in my new shoes(switched to a different "fitness" shoe so I could work different muscles-love these things), so its okay to splurge a little-right? Okay, so we won't talk about the million calories I downed yesterday with fried chicken,mashed taters/gravy, and chocolate pie... Have a great afternoon everyone!

The only thing I have had time for today is Autumn Lodge-Backroad Hobbies. The puppy is a handful for sure-she is huge now and we are very much in love. She has developed a spinal defect as she is growing, however, and will most likely be paralyzed. I have been researching doggie wheelchairs and have found what looks to be a very promising solution. Of course, the breeder has offered to replace the puppy, but that isn't an option for our family-so I have declined. But, she has agreed to do whatever she can to help us out, and is heartsick herself about this. In spite of her wobbling and leg issues-she runs around full of herself! Bulldog all the way! I know that she is ours for a reason, and am glad that we have her! Hope you all have a great night and thanks for the welcome back!

Long time no see! I am finally back on after a major computer freak out. Today I am melting- Buttery Caramel-CYS Welcome Home-CFTKR I know these are definitely not summer scents, but I was in the mood for comfort food! I am going to have to get seriously busy on stocking up, if I can. I haven't even been able to order and am running dangerously low-it's going to be tricky though with the heat factor in some places. I have a lot to catch up on around here, so I will get busy! Glad to see you all.

Just got back from a family foray to the wetlands-conservation area. Lots of birds migrating through right now. DD put the tarts on for me before we left- Lessie's Paradise Island(again) CYS-Beautiful One(strangely, a bakery type)

Good Morning everyone- Started the day with a 2 mile walk with the big dog(he is flopped down in the LR-legs splayed out backwards-tongue hanging out), a stop at the donut shop(my weekly indulgence), and Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper-Can Do. Off to plant some bulbs-have a great day everyone!

DD put on Lessie's Haunted House-Can Do before she went to bed. She loves that scent-its her very favorite! Good night all.

Good Afternoon everyone. Jason-I tried the "one moving box" thing too(since we moved next door)-it was tough and made for a long move. Hope it works out well for you guys. Have fun trying out melters in the new place-is it the same layout that you had before you moved to the penthouse? If so, then you probably have a pretty good idea where everything should be placed for max scent. Thanks for the well wishes-I didn't know how I'd feel about moving to a smaller place, but it has become home in record time and I really like it. The landscaping is one of my very favorite things to get my hands on-I am having so much fun planning,plotting and planting. I can't wait to see how it turns out! We put in 2 pink dogwoods a few days ago-I think they'll look spectacular against the white house in a year or two! Yes, Sweet, the dogs have both ended up at the old house once and looked very sheepish when I retrieved them. They are doing great though, overall. Jules-glad to see that you had a blast at the flats-its neat to be able to go with the kids and see who they are at school. It was good-we got it all moved in and have now been working on our own "redo's", also getting the landscaping plotted and started has taken a lot of time. I am finally to a point to relax and post some-even though I have tried to keep up on reading around here-you know how it goes if you miss a day or two. Everyone has been so busy melting around here, and it all looks delightful. :oops: I have been trying out different melter spots and moving stuff to get scent results, so things have been more like a science experiment around home lately. On a sad note-I lost my favorite melter and had a big ole wax spot to clean up on the new carpet a few days ago-dang shih tzu was trying to escape grooming time and ran face first into the cord. Knocked the whole melter into a wall and on the carpet...(it was plugged in behind the couch if that tells you anything about how hard he was going for the escape) [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_flucht] Anyway-been doing the blueberry thing today- LOL Blueberry Cheesecake(not for me sadly-it has that cheesecake thing that I'm not keen on) Lee's Crossroad Blueberry Muffins(no throw for my nose-maybe another spot in the house) CFTKR Granny's Blueberry Apple Pie(yummy!)
