ilove- I am melting the full 2 oz.of the tarts. Lke I said they were old ones. I have very good luck with the newer ones. Granny's Lemon Noel went for 8+ hours.

Can-do Italian frosted pizelles. i don't smell any anise in this pizelle but it sure is a nice buttery vanilla. very similar to Can-do sugar butt Also burning CBV fudge brownie, and caramelized praline

We are finally getting the snow. It took awhile to get here. It rained all day yesterday and now the snow is coming pretty quickly!

Good morning! I woke up to quite a surprise...snow. I didn't even know it was coming. Last night it was pouring rain. We are supposed to drive to upstate NY to go skiing this afternoon. DH still hasn't shoveled the driveway. I think I'm in for a long long long day of shoveling and driving in this weather. Ugh. Better go charge DD's DS and my Ipod.

 

My last melts before our mini-vacation are: Lime Vanilla Bomb and Banana Zucchini Bread. Both are great and both are from Carol. I also have my Berry Jam candle burning.

Cat52, I love sharin a sleeping bag. so unique. smells a bit different on melt than cold sniff(better melting). crisp and clean.

 

Denim-Deana's baton rouge is one of my favs. from her. I love that scent and it lasts soooo long.

We have over a foot of snow and it's still coming down.

 

I am melting BG Raspberry Marmalade Cookie and Candledippers Country Hotcakes. These are blending nicely and are very strong.

Melting Garden Party Cake from CYS...don't smell the cake but I do smell the roses. Nice but not really my thing.

Somehow a Cheryl's Cotton Candy tart ended up in my kitchen melter. Doesn't really go with the roses. I wonder who put it there? Maybe I'm loosing my mind.

Maggie, I sure feel the same way!! Come on already, how much freakin snow can we take. Pouring rain for 2 days straight, now like 7 inches of the white stuff again, and it doesn't look like its stopping any time soon! Ugh. Well, at least I got a day off from work!

 

Todays melts are YC Splash of Rain, I got this tart for 33 cents from a Christmas store by my house, it wasn't very strong, but good enough for the bedroom, nice scent though, and Kim's Tarts Fairy Dust, another nice scent from this vendor, but I must say they are just strong enough for me. None of these are quite as strong as I would like.

I started out the day with a bunch of emails from people saying that I'm trying to sell them Viagra and Cialis because I sent them to a particular online pharmacy. Needless to say, my Yahoo account was hijacked. I've never had anything like this happen, but at least it's not my main email account.

 

Hope those of you getting snow are staying warm and dry. We're supposed to get drenching rain this evening.

The snow has finally stopped...for now. Yes, I am looking forward to spring..I love to listen to the birds in the morning.

Well, the Garden Tea Party fizzled out quick...so I have 1 cube in 3 melters of Ashley's Cinnamon Apple Strusel and it's yummy!!! It is throwing already and it is not even halfway melted yet....and it's soy. Mostly just apple right now but it might morph into the cinnamon and strusel as it goes. Can't wait to see what happens in the long run.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the hijacked email account is cured. I changed passwords, deleted all contacts, deleted cookies and internet history, blah blah blah. Seems to be all better. I hope.

golly Gail, doesn't it make you wonder who these people are and how they do these things? the energy they put into trying to hack into things, they could just get a real job. were you able to just log into your account? they hackers hadn't changed your password on you? golly.

 

hubby and I went out to lunch today at an Indian buffet around the corner. it was bitter wind cold but then I took a nap this afternoon...seems to have really warmed up since then. wow, surprised. the snow is melting and I can see bare ground. so sorry for all of you that are getting bombarded again. I've seen pictures on FB and I've not seen snow that high in a long time.
