Happy Friday! My house smells great I have burning YC Farmers Market and Mistletoe from PI. Also melting tart from CFTKR in Christmas Past. My house smells great.

Its a YC melting day for me. Cranberry Chutney in the kitchen and Sugared Plums in the Family room. Smells great in here!!

sweet&spicy, I got minimal throw from Beary Nice Spice when I tried it some time ago. How did yours work out?

 

Aria - the melt was really light, didn't work for me, either. :? I'm going to try their candles this weekend.

Melting Busy Bee's Lemon Danish. Busy Bee is one of my fave companies and I really like lemon, but this scent isn't one for me. Go figure.

Yes, Sweet I think he did.. I'm also melting CCCC-Vanilla Pine Cones. I really like this scent, the best of both worlds.

Kim, oooh nothing worse than a stomach virus and smelling anything! I don't want any aromas of nothing when I have a stomach bug. glad you're feeling better.

 

barbita, wish I could come to your house and smell your YC Christmas wreath. darn, that was such an authentic scent but I could just not smell a thing when burning, and even after the first burn, there was barely to none cold sniff.

 

cat, do you like Carol's bear claw? for me, it is one of my all-time fav. go to comfort bakeries. I could bathe in it. lol

 

finally turned off the blueberries that have been going all day long and strong, and am melting sugar butt in the LR and bedroom. yes, bedroom. for some reason I want to go to bed with vanilla and sugar tonight. lol also put my CBV coconut praline candle on the melter. it's about gone.

Cheryl's Maple Syrup finally wore itself out. But then, I baked liver brownies for my doggy students and they stunk up the whole place. Now that they're securely covered in the fridge, I'm enjoying Cider from Wood Wick. Love this one.

Pulled out a couple of my discovered treasures from the other day, both several years old, but still good as new.

 

LR...Wilde Ivy's Dark Continent... a base note of chocolate with tribal spices and a lot of earthiness. I just love this one.

 

Comp....Nene's Spiced Apples and peaches...haven't pruchased from her in several years and this too is still excellent.

 

Both will be nice overnight burns.

I have been out of the loop for a bit - some oral surgery, and I really didn't want to do much except feel sorry for myself because I couldn't eat much...and all the Christmas goodies are pouring in at work!

splt, that is great that those Nene's melts were still good after so long.

 

melting pumpkin cookie brulee in the LR from SSS. love the cold sniff but so far, no throw in the melter.

cbv fresh laundry on the melter in the BR, remelting Nene's bella muse in the bath(love this one), CBV all is calm candle in the kitchen.

Slpit, I find that many of my older melts are just fine, even after a long time. Some don't do well, but many have a long shelf life. Good thing around here. Enjoy your treasures.

Melting Jack-o-Latte from Bella's...cut the 2oz. in half and have it at two different spots in the house...it's really strong and delicious. Not very in season, but I love this one!

I'm melting SH's Holiday Rugula Cookies. (See it in Porn thread if you're interested.) It's nice, it's good, it's a buttery, vanilla-y cookie scent with a bit of fruit. Apricot maybe, Jules?? There's not a thing wrong with it, it just doesn't make me go :?

that christmas splendor would be right up my alley! sounds lovely.

 

yes, Maggie that is the create a scent candle and I love it! sugared spruce and a nice orangey highlight. yesterday I had a ton of ironing to do in my kitchen, and it was the perfect diversion. lol

 

had to unfortunately switch out my pumpkin cookie creme brulee. what little time it did throw, I loved the scent; so yummy. for some reason, I don't seem to have alot of luck with SSS staying around for very long. I've tried different melters in different rooms. Just put on Secret Recipe from SSS. Not sure what I smell. when I first got it, on cold sniff I thought I smelled bubble gum. Now on cold sniff and melting I am getting a whiff of parmesan. :P we'll see.
