Happy Monday! It's been so dark and dreary here that I haven't felt fully awake all day, I hate when it's like that! Still warm here, upper 70's - supposed to be getting some cooler weather soon. :) I am STILL enjoying Frankincense & Myrrh by Candles Scent from Heaven it has lasted all day and is so swoon-worthy. :D I went ahead and added Frankincense & Myrrh by BH&G in the remaining warmers I love, love, love this scent! :wub: good job on the grade, DC! I can't believe the weekend is winding down so fast! Sunday night and the dead are not walking, what to do!? I didn't change out the warmers until late in the afternoon, I finished a bag of Frankincense & Myrrh by Candles Scent from Heaven, I absolutely love this scent. The weekend went by too fast.

Happy Saturday! Today I have an entire bag of Celtic Moonspice scattered throughout the house in various warmers. I think it's by HHH, I threw out the bag earlier. :huh: In the kids' bathrooms I have Scaramel Apple by Scentsational (I'm not too much a fan of this scent) :wacko: Candles: Marrakesh Spice Market by Colonial Candle, Cinnamon Stick by Village and Mulled Cider, also by Village Candles and last, but not least, Golden Spiced Pear by YC Have a wonderful weekend!

Started melting Boo Berry by ScentSationals in the bathrooms this morning Harvest Moon by Candles Scent From Heaven in the rest of the warmers (not getting much throw) Added some candles this evening: Autumn Air by YC and Cranberry Orange by Village At least it smells Autumn-y in here!

Boogie, you don't like Nag Champa? It's one of my favorite scents of all-time, it makes me swoon! lol Tonight is Green Amber by Candle Dippers. I am SO SO SAD she closed. I really found most of her scents to be strong and LONG lasting, like the one I have on now. I have about 1 more usage of the sugar scrub, lotion & body spray. Any other vendors out there that you find you can smell for hours after using (shower stuff)?

TOO Funny, Sweet! Oh, I am in the unprepared-for-Christmas camp for sure. ugh Thanks for the safe-travel wishes, we drove in the middle of the night after our Thanksgiving dinner (left at 1am) almost 10 hours to get to Mullins, SC so DH could visit his father that he hasn't seen in 10 years or so. It was really tough for him to see his dad in that shape (bed-ridden, in a nursing home), I feel really bad for him. We spent the night in a hotel and drove back the next day. UGH DH never has any time off work, so we had to squeeze in what we could get. Anyway, I've been struggling all day to get things back to normal (it seems like we were gone for a lot longer! lol) I got the melters going again: Midnight Pomagranite by Tara's in 4 warmers Warm Apple Cider by BH&G in my nightlight warmer Trick or Treat by ScentSationals in my bathroom nightlight warmer Candles: Red Wood Pomagranite by BH&G Harvest by YC Delusional - I love the thread title - so cute!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Been busy with prep, I cook the entire shebang here . . . . so I've been neglecting the warmers because of all the cooking smells. Now that things have died down, I put in: Cranberry Peach Cider by Up the Creek Scents Warm Apple Cider by BH&G in all the bathrooms burning one candle: Harvest by YC After dinner tomorrow, we are leaving about 2am for a 10 hour drive to SC where I will meet my FIL for the first time. He's in a nursing home and not doing too well, apparently. We'll stay over Friday night and then turn around on Saturday and drive back. It's grueling, we did it a a couple of years ago to see my husband's mother who had Alzeheimers. Sad to see DH "saying goodbye"to his family, even if they didn't have the closest of relationships. TGIF! Tonight my house is a lost cause. It stinks. As in, I can smell it out in the driveway, stinks. The culprit? C-O-L-L-A-R-D-S Are any of you southern, or as in my case, married to a southerner? Collards are a southern staple, I'm told, but how anyone ever thought this would be good to eat, I'll never know. Don't get me wrong, I like greens (spinach) and this isn't too bad if you can get past the stink . . . but man is it ever interfering with my tarts! NOT KEWL Don't mess with my smellies! So I'm fighting back with the strongest tart I've had as of late, and luckily I had quite a bit, so I brought out the big guns and overloaded all the warmers with Fall Hayride by Glade But alas, I think I'm losing. When I got out of the shower (far end of the house away from the kitchen) I could smell it. It's invaded the air conditioning system.

Hi Bubbleheads! sorry, couldn't resist I'd like to get To those of you who use bar soaps, do you find any that hold their scent all the way to the bitter end? I'm in the process of finishing up a couple of bars, and they just don't seem to have any scent anymore. Also, would you be so kind as to enlighten me on the difference between cold process and poured soaps? (other than the technique in creating them, I'm wondering what is the difference in the finished product) I sure appreciate any enabling education you can offer

Hello CandleFinders! It's gloomy here today, can't wait to get some candles going when I get back from school pick-ups later. Last night I thoroughly enjoyed Blueberry Pumpkin Patch once again, I'm sorry to report it's over half gone! Today I used an entire bar of Country Store by McCall's throughout the whole house. I've had this for almost exactly a year, and I was a little freaked out when I took it out, it definitely had *that smell* that sometimes the clamshell plastic has - yuk. When I popped them out, the container was rubbery, too. But it's smelling great! Jules, I'm with you - I like having the same scent in multiple melters . . . that way you can really tell what you're smelling (and not a mix), it comes in handy on knowing what to re-order! Sweet, I really, really love Pumpkin Carving, in fact, I think that will be in tonight's candle line-up for sure! Have a great day, everyone!

Today I have Country Gift Shop by Backroad Hobbies all over the house, I used up the entire bag. This evening I added a candle, Pumpkin Carving by B&BW, I really like it. I got it in a lotion sample and I was debating if I would like it or should regift it (it's cello wrapped so I can't smell it without opening) Have a great evening!

Kinda late checking in - DD and I finally did get our haircuts. I really got mine chopped short, I can't remember ever having hair this short (tho I'm sure I probably did) Tarts: I have Amish Quilt by CFTKR in 4 warmers Cinnamon Twist by Nene's in my room I desperately need to change out the kids bathrooms, it's starting to smell crayon-ish in there. :unsure: Candles: Still got the True Fall Splendor by BH&G going Apples & Spice by Seed also still going (trying to finish these 2 off) Also Black Tea & Amber by Bella Rosa, it's a 3-wicked grocery store candle, and it smelled really good, decent throw, but now it has drowning wicks. Sweet, I am so sorry about the kitty! At least the poor little thing found a home in the end. I feel so badly about the ferals of the world. That's so wonderful that you feed them. No melts yet, my daughter and I want to get a haircut and don't know who to go to. I haven't had a haircut in over a year (I cut my own) and I've been slack so it's gotten really out of hand.

Welp. . . . I took an early shower this evening with Ten Digit's Nag Champa, and I must say I smell so good, that I really got in the mood for something incens-y for the house as well. I knew I had a Dragon's Blood cut-able muffin from CFTKR somewhere so I dug it out and finished cutting it up. . . . This is one of the oldest tarts I have, from Feb. 2011, and unfortunately even Carol's tarts lose their scent at some point, or at least this one did. I remember it being so overpowering of a scent that I would have to turn it off, and I can't even smell it . Oh boy, do I feel ya, sista! I've been stalking my email looking for my order to arrive today too. I went out on one errand this morning, and got back at 10, checked my email and it said it was delivered at 9:30. So I go back outside and look, and nada. So I check the tracking more carefully to see if they made a notation of where they put it, and it said 'left on dock". HUH? In another state, no less. So I call them, and he said, oh, it was so damaged in transit that they returned it to us. He said let's get a replacement order out to you, and I said great, he was really nice. Well, one of the scents, Sweater Weather, is now out of stock so I had to pick a substitute. Not tragic, but they didn't even offer me anything for my trouble. Not too happy right now. Anyway, today I am melting Pink Fire by Shayz. It's a blend of pink sugar and cinnamon, and it smells mostly pink, but I really like it. In other warmers, I have Pink Cinnamon by CYS. That one smells slightly more cinnamon-y. I'll change the other warmers and light some candles later, supposed to be cold here again, this morning it was 36! That's really cold for FL! Not complaining, it's a nice change of season, and PERFECT candle weather! I am making matzo ball soup for dinner Enjoy your day!

I've added a few candles - I finished a little Pumpkin Spice candle from Glade and replaced it with Autumn Leaves by Candle Cottage Also still working on True Fall Splendor by BH&G and Harvest by YC I ditched the Harvest tarts (they were little jelly bean sized samples) from Missy's Tempting Tarts, I replaced it with a very old tart of Beware! by YC And on deck for my room and bathroom Spiced Apple Citrus by BH&G Have a good night!
