Hi Candlefind Friends, Today it's super-clean smelling in here - Line Dried Linen by BH&G Gain by TCC Tide by BRH Recently I melted a bag of Pamaretto by Shayz which lasted for 3 days, I swear! The downside is, that it stained all of my warmer bowls a really dark pink. I was able to get a couple clean with rubbing alcohol, but one is stubbornly refusing to give up the dye! Hope everyone's week is off to a good start!

It's Raining, It's Pouring (I wish I was snoring) lol! Whelp - DH patched the roof *again* when he came home from Mexico and last night it started storming REALLY bad (all across the south are tornadoes and all kinds of nasty weather - stay safe southern friends) and I have everything covered but so far so good! (no jinx!) Yesterday I started melting Black Tea with Orange & Almond by Mimi's Melters and it was UBER strong. At first it smelled a little "bakey" to me but I tried to tough it out because I know sometimes the notes change after burning awhile ... I have come to the conclusion that I do NOT like black tea (I guess that was the note). . . . it didn't get any better, just more nauseating! So I changed it out to Hippy Butter by Happy Hippy , which is Orange & Lemongrass, but man that yucky smell wanted to linger! Plus, I have not had much strong throw from Happy Hippy, I really could only smell it when I got right up close. So I lit a Morenci Candle - always guaranteed to fragrance the entire area - yup! Tuscan Lemongrass was a winner! Also, I did have Corriander & White Lime by my pal Val in the bedroom and bathroom and it was very nice. :D Today it is stormy, dark and generally yucky out, and it's so COLD in the house, I actually turned the heat on to knock the chill out! Melting Nag Champa by Aunt Smellman Exotic Sandalwood Musk by BH&G and about to add a candle, Sandalwood by YC to make things even cozier. Very earthy in here on this rainy day - LOVE it! Happy Almost Friday! I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger around here. . . . why does it seem like as school starts winding down, everything starts winding up?! DD#3 left this morning (butt-crack of dawn early) for her senior class trip to Disney and Universal. I hope she's having a blast! (probably still on the bus) DD#1 birthday is today, I can't believe she's 24!! DH is coming home tomorrow night after 4 weeks out, and leaving again at the crack of dawn on Monday. ugh 2 days home every month is not much time and his list is LONG! The car needs repair, garden needs *man chores*, the roof is leaking, etc etc - poor guy would probably rather stay in Mexico! Luckily it's stopped raining, and even luckier that I saved an old vinyl tablecloth to cover everything with. This morning I am burning Bird of Paradise by Morenci, this will probably be it's last lighting, it's just about gone. :( In the warmers, I tried one of those Mainstays combos - Peaceful Waters, Blue Skies and Hidden Treasures. It was pretty okay, nothing I would run out to stock up on In my room I have Orange Freesia by ScentSationals, that was very nice. Had a bit of a waxtastrophe yesterday afternoon . . . I had DS at the eye doctor and when I got home my DD told me that one of the dogs had jumped up and upended the little wall shelf I have my warmer on . The bowl hit the deck, (didn't break, thankfully) and she managed to rescue the warmer with a little bit of burning on her hands - ouch. Needless to say, wax all over the walls, floor, etc. Still working on that one and looking for a sturdier place to put the warmer. Enjoy your Saturday!!

Good Morning! I have fallen behind again! Over the weekend, I remember melting Mid Summer's Night by Haleys and burning 2 Shooting Star candles by ScentBeads (grocery store acquisition) along with it, they smell very much alike, a favorite "good smelling man" smell to me! Rewarming (to change out later) Rain Kissed by Scentsationals from yesterday, while enjoying a Morenci candle, Pomegranate. Also a Karma (Lush Type) tart, a sample from unknown vendor finishing it's life in my room. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I sure have not, but I'd like to find one, too! They mostly smell like oranges, and real orange blossoms have no "orange" smell Keep us posted if you find one!

Hello! It's almost Friday! woo hoo (actually it doesn't make much difference - lol) Yesterday I melted Lift Off by Glade Wax Melts. It's described as white tea and magnolia, and it was fabulous. Great throw! I'm so pleased because I made a small grocery store haul (coupons!) and got 12 Glade Melts! Today is Yuzu by Mimi's Melters and I added a couple of candles: Coconut and Mango by Scent Beads (another grocery store deal) and Orange Grove by Seed (yet another grocery store - that's what most of my purchases are limited to, I don't get in any trouble that way!) WTG Maggie! I have decided that, for the month of April, I will not be melting any wax whatsoever . . . . . . . . . . . APRIL FOOLS! you all knew better than that anyway! I am re-warming China Rain by Country Chunkie until I get back from school drop off, and then I will probably change everything out. I still have Voodoo Love by LSC in my room, I keep turning it on and then off, I guess I will have to give it up today Anyway, happy APRIL FOOLS DAY! Don't get tricked !

Good Morning! Re-warming Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper by Mimi's Melters, I love this scent. Yesterday, when I was melting it, I added a Morenci candle of the same scent. Forbidden Fruit by Buggy Town in the bathrooms DH went back to Mexico today . . . poor guy, his honey-do list is so long for the 2 days a month he comes home, he's probably more worn out on his monthly visit than he is working 11 hours 7 days a week in Mexico! Who makes Hemmingway and what does it smell like? Sounds intriguing! I haven't gotten around to change out the warmers, I still have Sunburn by Front Porch, but it's definitely faded off. Doesn't help that it's raining and I have 8 wet dogs in here. On deck is Serenity by Nene's, I have a bag of kittchen crumbles that I've been hoarding and it's one of my all-time favorites. I had to hit up my stash before DH gets here, I NEVER hunt around when he's in the house! Have a wonderful day

Good Morning CandleFinders! Today I am re-warming Sunburn by Front Porch, which I melted all day yesterday, and it is just as in-your-face strong this morning - LOVE IT! Okay, so I have fallen in love with a scent, and unfortunately it's from on of the companies that's as good as permanently closed in my book (LSC) so does anyone know if anyone else (who actually does normal business) has VOODOO LOVE? Can't even read the scent description on their site :angry: but it's dreamy and I must find more somewhere! Oh and speaking of "permanently closed" good luck to all of you who are jumping into the shark tank at CFTKR this morning - another lost cause to me. DH is coming home from Mexico tomorrow and going back at the butt-crack of dawn on Monday (in order not to have to burn a vacation day - ugh) So I'll be back holding down the fort for another month. This is getting really old especially since they took away bonus and per diem pay for this nonsense. Maggie, I'm glad you're feeling better! Debra, I feel your pain about your pup - mine are all getting old too. 14.5 is great!

Hi Everyone! Thanks for all the compliments on Rottini, we think she's pretty darned cute, too. We got her over 10 years ago from the Broward County Humane Society in south Florida. Spent the day melting Snuggle Baby by Buggy Town Gaia by a CF friend in my room Another cube of Stormwatch (also by a CF friend) in the bathrooms Candles: Sea to Santorini by B&BW Pure Linen by Village Candles These great scents have kept me going while cleaning, organizing and laundry today, but I think I'm ready to change everything up for the rest of the evening. How's everyone's Friday? I can't believe how fast the week has flown by, I wanted to get so many things done while the kids were off school - oh well, the best laid plans and all that . . . Thanks for all the good wishes about Teeni! No improvement as of now, but I'm hoping for the best. I'm sharing her picture, as you can see, I've had her since she was a little (Teeni) puppy! Still enjoying the Stud Muffin by Country Chunkie. Added Tranquil Oasis in my room and Fresh & Clean in DS room. He's about to have a bunch of boys over for an overnight campout and bonfire, but I'm sure they'll end up in his room with the xbox at some point. Wishful thinking, the Fresh & Clean with 4 teen boys in there - but at least it smells good now! Good Morning! I made a FUN FIND yesterday when I was rearranging some stuff in my daughter's closet - my stash of Country Chunkie tarts that I got from a contest here on CF! So I have Stud Muffin all over my house! (what would DH say - he's still out of the country! lol) Off to the grocery store when it opens this morning, for weekly shopping. DS is planning a camp out in the backyard with some friends for their first day of spring / last day of spring break or something like that. I know they'll have fun, but this is DH's department, not mine! lol Please keep my pup Rottini in your thoughts, she suddenly stopped using one of her legs, I spent a fortune at the vet yesterday and got no real answers As for CCCC, I read on FB that Deanna's father passed at the beginning of March. Perhaps it was a lenghty illness, and she was taking care of him, IDK. She was slated to re-open in Jan, had the flu, and then I never heard anything else.
