TGIF ! I did NOT do a repeat performance of yesterday's pumpkin scents, since it is OVER 90 degrees here - ugh!! :angry: Enjoying Sunny Sands by Shayz Scents all over the house! Very summer-y. Fall will get here eventually. Hope everyone's weekend is getting off to a good start!

Today I was home most of the day so I decided to burn 2 of the Pumpkin Spice candles by Glade that I got recently. I went a little hog-wild with their fall scent display at the grocery store, . . . they were buy one get one free and had coupons, so I got them for a buck and change! They didn't have as many of the Fall Hayride as I would have liked, they had lots of the Apple Cinnamon one, but to me that's pretty common year-round, and I only got 1 of the Toasted Marshmallow one (I'm going outside my box this year) :D I also tried a melt by Febreze in 2 of the bathrooms today - Chai Latte- it's just meh . . the wax is SUPER soft, like butter, and it's barely scenting the bathrooms. ^_^ I'm also burning a little Glade candle in another bathroom, I *think* it's Clean Linen & Sunny Days . . . one thing I REALLY don't like about these is that the name is not on the label, so if you throw away the cardboard (which I did) . . . no way to know :mellow: Have a good night, everyone

Maggie, I just read on FB that Granny's is closing their doors - this was from one of her "consultants" - I tried to go to Granny's FB page, and it is, indeed, gone. :o I'm remelting my Vanilla Jasmine by Granny's - shame I held on to them so long to see if they were good - now no chance to re-order :(

Hello! Hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. I'm going to be a day behind (in my head) all week! :wacko: I am melting my first ever tarts from Granny's Kountry Candles - I divided 2 tarts in half and have them in 4 warmers, the scent is Vanilla & Jasmine and it is smelling REALLY good in here! In fact, I was so inspired that I dug out some Jasmine BBW products to shower with! :wub: Even my (ex) DH commented when he came home from work how good it smells in here! I was worried about Granny's, because a lot of people (not in here) have reported no or low throw. So far, so good on this one! I have Mango Mandarin Madness by BHG in my room and bathroom, I picked up *a few* different scents from that clearance web site. DS has his all-time favorite, Squeaky Clean from (the old) Crabby Candle Co. Has anyone ordered since the buy-out? I wonder if they're still the same. Have a great night!

Hello CandleFind Friends! I have been trying to catch up on reading this thread for several days, and finally decided to skip to the end - the month is almost over! LOL My kitchen is FINALLY finished, but now the work has begun with trying to put it back together. You KNOW one of the first things I did was set up a warmer! yeah!! Hello Candlefinders! :) Help! I have not been able to find my candles! :o More accurately, I have not been able to get to a lot of them. ;) We de-constructed our kitchen and the re-construct has been a very slow go. Now school is looming on Monday and we have no sink, no microwave, no counter tops, no dishwasher - ugh. :angry: I haven't been melting or burning much during this VERY stressful time, all my kitchen stuff is boxed up and laying around all over the place, blocking in my candle closet - oh horrors. :wacko: This evening, I have a Febreze candle I picked up at the grocery store (some kind of spring flower scent) and a Morenci candle in Cherry Vanilla Blossom. I want my life back! lol :blink: Hope all are doing well.

Finished off the last of a loaf I've been hanging onto for a looooong time! Rain by Shady Mountain Candles. I think I was inspired by the thunder I'm hearing. It's getting kinda dark. I *might* have to light some candles. Darn.

Good Evening! Last day of July, I can't believe it. The summer has flown by so fast, back to school is looming! :wacko: I spent almost 3 days with Princess Gown by Front Porch. Man oh man it was in your face strong. Unfortunately, I would not have to put it on my list of favorites - it was very perfum-y and was on the verge of giving me a headache. I don't like to waste tarts, and it was the scent that would not die!! lol :blink: Changed it up this morning to Apples & Evergreen by OPT. It was nice but hardly noticeable, I'm wondering if I burned out my smell buds (is there such a thing)? I added a few more late in the afternoon: Belle Morte, Midnight Pomegranite and Bewitched Vanilla, all by Starlight Channing (etsy). I'm just not smelling much from them either, I wonder if it's me! Wow, I am behind! I lost an entire day yesterday cleaning viruses off of DH's laptop which he's been letting DS use. It's about time to change out Ocean Mist by Buggy Town, which I have been thoroughly enjoying. The day before, it was Bamboo Hemp by CSFH, it was kind of light but nice. So I finally got off my duff and changed the warmers All over the living room & kitchen I have Bora Bora Nights by Dream Tarts in my room & bathroom it's South Padre Island from that Scentsational collection of different "beaches and shores" awhile back when they had all the pretty nautical warmers at Walmonster (and yes I picked up *a few*) B) That reminds me that I should change the other bathrooms, maybe later Maggie, I'm so glad to hear your good report on HH and Granny's. I watched you tube videos on both of them and had to try. Then I started reading about Granny's and while some people raved, others said they were duds, so I started wondering if the rave reviews were from consultants. I did burn a butterball from Granny's while my dd was here in Vampire Kiss and it threw REALLY well and burned nicely too. :) Have a great evening. everyone! Glad to see you are enjoying your Happy Hippy, Maggie! I still haven't melted any yet. And how do you like Granny's? I have some from her, but they have a funny smell to me on cold sniff. Plus I don't get the consultant thing . . . Anyway, I have been running around a lot the past couple of days and neglecting my wax. The last thing I melted was a REALLY ancient tart from CFTKR, Blue Lagoon. It was little bunnies or somnething and I felt bad melting them. Time to change things out, I think!

Today I am melting 2 scents from Country Chunkie (woo hoo!): Euphoria and Delicious I rearranged some of my candles this morning and made the *overflow* from the candle cabinet look nice on the mantle, albeit a bit crowded Have a great day, everyone!

Maggie, is this the first Happy Hippy melt you've tried? (I went to abbreviate HHS and it's the same as Haley's Heavenly - hmmm) Anyway, I still have mine set aside to cure. I'm ashamed to admite I haven't even changed my warmers out today, I can still smell the Gain (Seabreeze) when I walk by and the Faded Denim (Scentsationals) is still super strong, wowza!!

Today it smells nice and clean in here - Gain (type) by SeaBreeze (her cupcake tarts are SO cute I love them!) Faded Denim by Scentsationals (a very strong laundry-ish scent) and more White Cloud by TCC. Enjoy what's left of your weekend, everyone!

Melting White Cloud by TCC in a few warmers Bird of Paradise by Cozy Cottage in my room I have a mix of the leftover from FP Sunburn an OLD HHS tart called Coconut Craze. It still smells great, but I noticed that it will NOT melt all the way. I ordererd that tart in Jan. 2011, so I'm thinking her wax has changed since then (I hope so since I have an order out from her last sale - lol) Lilacs & Pearls or something like that by Soy Vey Grazia (can you tell I'm using up some oldies!?) I'm in exactly the same place, I have some, haven't melted any, so I hate to invest more in them if they don't pan out. And yes, I saw the rainbow loaves - they are far out, man!! Also, guess what!? She has a play - doh scent!!! yeah! Happy Hippy Joy Joy "Hippyland-Playdoh (Just like the childhood Playdoh)" I have been looking for a play-doh dupe for a LONG time! The cold sniff is pretty good, we shall see! Late afternoon I changed out my beloved Sunburn and now have Oatmeal, Milk & Honey by YOCC. It's nice, but pretty subtle. Have a good night, everyone oh, btw, I lit the rewicked Harry & David, and no go. the wicks shrivel up and the flame is barely there with the teeny tiny scent pool. Even at that, it smells nice, but I don't know what's wrong, I used those wicks when I make votives out of old wax and they burn just fine.

I have some Happy Hippy in the cure pile, too, Maggie! I am DYING to try it - she's got a special on the 2 oz. cubes . . . they're $1.25 ea until 8 pm tomorrow night Thanks, I did actually re-wick it this morning. It's a square shaped jar, so it didn't fit on my hotplate warmer very well . . .but I discovered a new use for the nifty little feature on my stove which is a "warming" burner that I never use. It liquified the candle perfectly! I have to agree with Sweet, definitely the grapefruit. It's really good, you should check it out when you get the chance. Squirty bottle? I think I read something about that (liquid wax), aside from the annoying bottle, how did it work for you? I heard people say it was hard to get out of the warmer because it never solidified. Hmm . . . think I'll stick to my tarties, I somehow don't think sniffing a bottle would be the same! I'm about to turn some of the warmers off for the night but I have REALLY been enjoying Sunburn by Front Porch in several of them. The scent description says: This is a hot burning blend of our Hawaiian Sun Tan Lotion and Copper Sun Tan lotion..a blend that is due to give you a sunburn! That is right up my alley, I am in love! Isn't it divine, Sweet? Even DH commented on it when he came out of the bathroom! I added a candle to my other bathroom, Royal Riviera Pear by Harry & David and :angry: grrrrrr, it is burning HORRIBLY. Not a full scent pool, despite wrapping in foil, and the wicks are barely burning. I have not had much luck with these. I think I will put it on a warmer, melt it completely and rewick it.
