TGIF! I *finally* got around to going thru some of my stash and gathered up enough "fall-ish" scents to fill my little fall box . . . Started off with Harvest Berries by OPT Still working on the Fall Hayride by Glade candle in my bathroom River, I see what you mean about the throw on that . . . this is my first try with a candle, the melts in that scent, however, were nosehair burning! Uber-duber strong Hope everyone's weekend gets off to a great start. It's supposed to cool off here next week (even tho it's going to rain a little, but that's okay, I want FALL!) DS is planning a camp-out/bonfire with some of his friends tomorrow night. Quite a difference from the girls' sleepover get-togethers with makeovers and baking cookies! lol [got some kewl emoties down at the bottom, I hadn't looked in awhile!]

Thanks, Trep . . . it's a little unnerving when someone so close to your own age passes . . . :( I did take 10 minutes this morning to go through some stash bins and pull some fall scents for my fall box. . . . I put a Fall Hayride candle by Glade in my bathroom - strong scent! In the main part of the house, I have Spiced Apples & Peaches by Victoria's Designer Creations . . . now I got these in July of 2012 and they did not hold up very well. The tart cups started to break down, they lost the center of the bottom, and the wax is SUPER soft and mushy to handle. They're not giving off a stellar throw either, I'll know better when I leave the house and come back - note to self: use these guys up fast!

Just wanted to pop in and say I am still in frazzled mode and barely melting/burning. I keep saying I have to go thru my stash and pull out the fall-ish ones, but I never get the time to do the digging. I'm so sorry to read about Koosh. I am very attached to my pets and dread *the day* for all of them. A friend of mine from animal rescue passed away, I am so sad about it, even though I know her suffering is over (she had cancer) - she was one of the most selfless people I've ever known and the animals at the shelter are going to miss her greatly, as will I. Her service/burial is this Saturday and I'm a little bit freaking out. I am determined to melt/burn something today, so I hope to report back later.

I've been a bit frazzled lately and have fallen behind with posts :blink: I am finishing the last dregs of Falling Leaves by CFTKR. I absolutely ADORE this scent, does anyone know who, besides Carol, carries it? Haven't been able to order from her in a LONG while. I'm also melting the last of Autumn Bounty (been going for 2 days) by Orchid Lake . . I've never ordered wax from there, this was a wax freebie that came with a bath and body order, I'm loving it! :wub: Warm Autumn Memories by BH&G in the bathrooms and Christmas Spice by Kristin's Kandles in my room. :) All the warmers need freshening, but I just seem to be spinning my wheels today. :wacko: At least it's TGIF! TGIF Everyone! I just changed 5 of my warmers to Autumn Leaves by OPT . . . it's not kicking butt, that's for sure. They're just over a year old, so maybe that's the problem. Oh well, I'm trying to use up my fall oldies! Since DS is going home with a friend after school and I don't have to leave to sit in the car line, I decided to light some candles. Falling Leaves by Febreze in my bathroom (Dabba, maybe yours would do better in a smaller area like a bathroom, not sure what size you have, but my little one wouldn't scent a larger room, I don't think) Autumn by BBW, my first time trying a mason jar. It's just now getting it's wax pool going and I can already smell it. Warm Rustic Woods by BH&G also, love that one! Good Afternoon!! Humid, rainy-looking (no actual rain) and not fallish at all here either. But inside . . . that's a different story! Last night's melt in my room and bathroom was Witch's Brew by YOCC Today in my room I have Pumpkin Chai by Can-Do 4 melters in the main area have Leaves, 2 by Can-Do and 2 by CFTKR Can anyone see my new avatar? It's creepy/pumpkinish. I have tried everything and can't seem to get it to update for me. Still seeing the seashell I've had a zillion years. Hmmm . . . Enjoy your day! This morning I baked an apple pie and I also have a turkey breast in the crockpot, so the scents are taking a back-seat. I just changed 4 of the warmers to Autumn Harvest by Haleys Heavenly Scents, I am blasting through last year's left over fall scents. I'll add a candle this evening, I'm sure and probably change out the evening warmer in the bedroom.

Last night, as the Autumn Magic from OPT was fading, I burned Autumn Wreath by YC I added Cranberry Spice by Delightful Scents in my room and bathroom This morning I started Christmas Spice by Kristin's Kandles in my room (I have a day warmer and a nightlight night warmer in my room - lol) When I get back from errands, I will pick something out for the rest of the house. 30 days has September that means OCTOBER is right around the corner! Trick or Treat! The sun is playing peek-a-boo, it was drizzling ever so slightly when I was walking dogs this morning . . . still Fall inside my house tho! Autumn Magic by OPT . . I'm REALLY liking this one. Here's the scent description: Notes of lemon and apple; followed by notes of anise, cinnamon, and ginger; rounded of with woods, musk, and vanilla. Have a great day!

TGIF Candle Pals! Maggie, don't you just love BH&G's Spiced Apple & Clove? I grabbed a few of them after I realized how much I love them! btw, can you tell me who BGbyL and B&S are? Riverboat Gambler sounds really interesting, what's that one like? Katz, Autumn Lodge *is* an uber-strong scent i guess! I recently melted some from Haley's and it's one of the few times I've said "a bit too much, even for me"! Rivercat, I have been reading the posts here and being a copy-cat . . . . I recently lit my November Rain after reading your post . . . it's really more "cologn-ey" to me, than fall-ish, I liked it, tho - it reminded me somewhat of another candle I've had, I think it was YC Midsummer Night. It went really well with the leftover of Clear Autumn Sky, which was also a little clean and or "perfumy" rather than fall-ish. Today I am following your lead, Trep, and burning my Red Wood Pomegranate by BH&G and REALLY like it a lot! I never did see it in a clam, has anyone else? On deck, I have Harvest Berry Preserves by BH&G (I'm really loving these recently!) for when I go to the car pick up line and put out the candle, I'll fire up the warmers. In my room I have Warm Apple Cider (this is from last year, wonder if it's the same as Simmering Apple Cider from this year) by BH&G Hope everyone's weekend gets off to a good start! My youngest son is having friends sleep over (12 year old boys) - what's that saying? No rest for the weary? Or no rest for the wicked? Something like that! lol I probably qualify on both counts

Until this afternoon when I have to leave the house, I have a candle: Autumn Wreath by YC and a small candle in my bathroom Falling Leaves by Febreze, which I picked up this morning at Walmonster On deck, I have Clear Autumn Sky by BH&G . . . I'll turn on the warmers when I head out to the school pickup line, so it should smell lovely in here when I get home! Have a wonderful day! (maybe not for me [high of 88 today] or Jules, but we can pretend) [eta] bioeagles, the Blueberry Pumpkin Patch is really nice, I think it's borderline *bakery*, and I do NOT like bakery scents AT ALL (the bakery note smells like feet to me - lol), but this is not like that. It's mostly blueberry, but not a candy/fruity blueberry, it's more like blueberry muffin blueberry (if that makes sense) and not the cake part, a tad spicy and the pumpkin is subtle. I hope that helps! I'm not too good with descriptions :blink:

Good Evening! During the day I was burning Blueberry Pumpkin Patch by B&BW, I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I really loved it!! Late afternoon, I turned on the warmers and put out the candle. Autumn Lodge by Haleys in 4 warmers (used this up, they were gingerbread man shaped tarts, and OMG uber strong, and I've had them since 2011 I think! wowza! Pumpkin Pie Spice by Glade (that's Gla-day) small candle in the bathroom and melts in the warmer in my room. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hello! I hope everyone had a good weekend. I spent a good part of yesterday shelling speckled butter beans in the garage and listening to a man curse at the underside of his car. It thought it might be a little bit *fall-ish* here, 73 degrees in the morning, only because it was cloudy and drizzling . . .got up to 83 today and supposed to be highs around 88 the rest of the week. Fall - where are you??!! Over the weekend, I burned Harvest by YC and True Fall Splendor by BH&G (and they are extremely similar - I know someone asked me about True Fall Splendor a few days ago) Today I have been burning Autumn Day from B&BW, I love it! The rest of this day I will stay inside and pretend it's fall outside! :) Enjoy your evening!

Good (almost) Afternoon! I finally cleaned the Candied Mulberry Spice by BH&G out of my warmers - wowza that clam was strong and long lasting! Since my morning errands are finished, I decided to burn one of my recent YC acquisitions, Golden Spiced Pear, and give the warmers a little rest. It's a little out of my box, but I am liking it so far. I just posted some pics in the p0rn thread, and when I went into my son's room to get my hidden stash of YC that arrived yesterday, it smelled like crayons in there. That boy! He likes tarts, but I think his warmer has been on straight for a month, probably with the same tart (which was completely unrecognizable) - ugh. I emptied it out, and it was more like a sugar scrub at the bottom. I have to keep better tabs on what's going on in his room (it's a scary place in there anyway). For some reason, he pours his used wax into old plastic cups and when they finish, he unmolds them and stacks them on his desk. I mean, they're pretty and all . . . Shaking my head at a 16 year old boy's *man cave*. I still need to change out the bathrooms and pick something out to fire the warmers back up when I put out the candle and leave for the car line this afternoon. Enjoy your day, everyone!

This afternoon I changed the warmers and used an entire clam of Candied Mulberry Spice by BH&G throughout the house . . . it's fruity, but kinda fall-ish (even tho the weather here is NOT fallish in any way!) It is STRONGO! Also Sparkling Berry Garland by BH&G in the bathrooms. Good night, CandleFind friends

I am slacking around here and need to get cleaning but I thought I'd post my scents first My daughter Mel finally arrived from the airport around 8:40 on Friday (she was supposed to get in at 2pm) I had the apple scents going for her arrival. As far as the BBW Applewood Bonfire candle, it wasn't knock-your-socks off by any means, but it blended well with the Spiced Apple & Clove by BHG that I was also melting The fall scents were divine, but it is SO hot here that we switched to beachy: Sun and Sand by Cross Creek Sandcastles (candle) by Yankee My DD went back to MD early Sunday evening, she had a safe and speedy flight, I'm always sad to see her go, but she is enjoying her graduate studies at Towson Today I have a re-warm of Awapuhi Seaberry by CFTKR Calypso Sands by Scentsationals pretty soon it's gonna smell bleachy in here, so I'll refresh the warmers this afternoon Have a happy Monday!

Last night I gave Glade's Fall Hayride (clam form) a try. I have some candles, too, but haven't tried those out yet. It was UBER strong, almost too much for the bedroom where I had it, plus I can't say it's a tdf type scent, kwim? In the living room I burned my B&BW Mahogany Teakwood - winner winner chicken dinner! It was awesome!!! Today my oldest DD is flying in from MD for a long weekend, I can't wait to see her. I'll probably scent the house in something "apple-y" because that's her fave. see how happy I am about her visit? lol How did you like the Applewood Bonfire, Rivercat? Sounds like a winner to me, may give that one a try. Have a great day, everyone!!

Trep, thinking of you and your family, wishing a positive outcome and speedy recovery. Stay strong. Today (and yesterday) I am melting Exotic Sandalwood Musk (clams) from BH&G, I really like it! Using the last of the Chai Latte by Febreze (not impressed with the strength or throw) Vicks Vapor Rub by Can-Do in my DS room - every year, week or so after school starts - here come the cooties - ugh :angry: Also Amber Woods by Starlight Chandling in my room, not really a great throw on these.
