Hi friends! Just a quick post...got a whole mess of things I want to do today...gotta take advantage of a day off! School's officially out here for us! Woo Hoo! Melting an oldie, but a goodie! Nene's Cinnamon Glazed Fritters!!!! OMG, this has to be my top cinnamon bakery scent! Love it so much. Placed a VCS order this morning... Yes, I was able to order for once in a VEEEEEERY looooooong time! I think I got some good ones, although it's just a blur right now because I spent way more than I wanted to!!!! I'm the paranoid type too! :unsure: Love SGA latte scents!!!!! Wonder how they concoct a "library" scent???

Hi again! Evening melt downstairs is Calypso from TBG....this scent is beautiful! Upstairs is Black Amber & Lavender from CFTKR...a favorite soft scent. Maggie, forgot to say congrats on the girls graduation! shortygal, my oldest son will be a senior next year also. Unbelievable...I swear he was just in 1st grade not so long ago! trep, do you burn candles exclusively or do you melt tarts too? Sorry but I don't remember. Wasn't someone in your house allergic to scents??? Well, might stay up and read for awhile. Otherwise, I'll turn the melters off for the night and hit the hay. I'm pretty tired so I'll probably get drowsy reading...lol! Does everyone turn off their melters overnight or if you leave the house?

Good Morning! I've got a sort of berry/fruit theme going today! CLKS ~ Cherry Custard Pie...omg, so good it's unreal...love! CFTKR ~ Jelly Filled Sugar Cookies...a long time favorite! CFTKR ~ Mango Sage Tea...bright and wonderful...the sage really comes through! That's it for now...will melt more later. Yes, ladies, having multiple melters going at the same time really helps get through your stash efficiently! Sometimes, I even put the same scent in 2 or 3 melters at a time. have a great day!

Hi there! Ugly day today...cloudy, overcast, cold...blah <_< Melting... Caramel Latte Glazed Baklava...SGA...really good and strong :wub: Sweet Potato Marshmallow Pie...FP...so good....love the sweet potato note! Sweet Potato Pie/Marshmallow/Brown Sugar...SMT...in two melters and it's blending nice with the others. In the mudroom, I have a CFTKR sample ~ Cardamom Cedar Blossom...just started, so waiting to get the first whiffs..lol. Michele, yes, I melted all of those yesterday...I am determined to put a huge dent in my stash. They were in different melters throughout the house...some going at the same time...some I changed out when the scents got too light to smell. I'm on a mission!!

Hi friends! Had the day off and did my errands early, so I was able to come home and melt to my hearts content! Eggnog ZB ~ Swanky...My first melt from this vendor...loved it. Strong and really good...I could smell the eggnog and zb equally. Thanks CF buddy for sharing! Pistachio Cookie Cake ~ WOW...loved this one too. I could smell the pistachio, but it was toned down by a very nice white cake note! Thanks CF buddy! Sugar Corn Pudding Marshmallow Noel ~ FP I'm halfway through this jar of shaveable wax (LOVE)...this scent is so warm and comforting. Cookies & Cupcakes ~ FP Don't hear much about this scent, but it's FANTASTIC! White cake and sugar cookies and a touch of buttercream. Amish Friendship Butter Brickle ~ FP Love this scent blend, but it was a little light even in a hotplate. Zucchini Bread ~ Tiffany Candles Soft scoopable wax and super yummy scent and strong throw. Spicy zb. Strawberry Mint Shaving Cream ~ SGA A new scent blend to me and so glad I like it because I have an entire chunky pie in it. Chopped it up and I don't think I've ever had so much of one scent in my life...lol!!! It is really, really good and long lasting...I smell mostly the strawberry and shaving cream...maybe the mint will get stronger as it cures more. Strawberry Marshmallow ZB ~ SGA Heavenly! Sweet, spicy and just yummo! A nice strawberry note...not fake, but more like an authentic strawberry! Right now...FP Vanilla Nutmeg...a favorite! That's it I think! Have a great night everyone!

Ya feeling better Maggie? Michele, prayers for your friend honeybear, I'll bet your girls will be happy to be home :wub: sweet, I think we got about 4-5 inches total over the last couple days.

Hi friends! Melting... Butter Brickle ~ Makes Scents...so, so, Good!!! SCDB ~ Front Porch...yum, a favorite. I have a YC burning also...it's one of the radiance woodwick ones...not much scent though! At least it's pretty! sweet, I have no idea why Carol hasn't been posting on the fb page. She posts every morning and throughout the day on her closed group page. You should request to join the group...bunch of real sweet gals there...just like here. It's fun. Carol is semi-retired now, but will open near the end of Jan. I hope to be able to order this time since the last few times I've been at work when she opens. Keeping my fingers crossed. Have a great night all!

Good Monday Morning! The boys are back to school today! Melting a couple of tarts from a thoughtful CF friend... HHS Pumpkin Cappuccino Latte...WoW! Super strong and lick-the-air good! lol ST Fantastic...just started this one and excited to start smelling whiffs soon! honeybear, continued well wishes! SMT still does custom orders and then they frequently open for the dream boxes and samplers which are made up of extras from customs. I've been able to get a couple of them in the past year or so. Here's the info from FB on their next custom opening... "Our next custom opening will be held on January 15th at 12pm to 1 pm EST. It is possible we will stay open longer, but we are only guaranteeing a 1 hour opening to try our best to stay within our estimated TAT. All August custom order's WILL be shipped, and HOPEFULLY delivered by the January 15th opening. Our goal is to have our BF sale orders shipped before the 15th as well. Our ESTIMATED tat will be 5 months. I will be working on the website, and get it updated this week. If you have any questions, please ask before the opening. Thank you!" Hey there...got all the decorations and tree put away! Thank goodness! I am so done with the holidays. :angry: It's too much work. Took a chunk melt from SMT, cut it up and have it melting throughout the first floor...Sweet Lavender/Marshmallow Cake/Zucchini Bread. Smells wonderful!!! Have a couple of tealights burning in holders just for some added glow. honeybear...stomach bug ...blech. Hope your on the mend...that is the worst. Yes, the boys are a big help because it's nothing for them to carry totes and boxes of decorations up and down a flight of stairs. If I were to do it, it would take twice as long...lol. Getting older sucks. sweet, love the candles from Crossroads. I still have the huge one they sent me last year because they ran out of large jars...have barely made a dent in it. I will have this candle forever... It has 4 wicks and is gorgeous when lit, but that is a LOT of wax!!!! Maggie, how's the throw on Snickerdoodle latte? I've had some awesome scents with great throw from CLKS, and some that are complete duds. She has some really nice scent offerings. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Hi friends Melting Christmas Kitchen from Makes Scents...from last year. It's the cookies and pine scent. Off to bake some cookies I made the dough for yesterday and then working 2:30 - 10:30 tonight. Have a good one!

Good Morning friends... Melting Holiday Memories by Thompson's and Pumpkin Spiced Chai from Swan Creek. Both are very spicy. I've been very busy like all of you and it's wearing me out! Also, I've had some kidney stones in the last week or so (never had them before) and that is making feel worn out too. I mean REALLY worn out! Literally, at any time of the day, if I sit down and close my eyes, I am out! Finally got our fireplace finished. The tile guy is coming to finish the grout on the floor tiles on the hearth and then the carpet guy will come and cut away the excess carpet and finish off the edges. Will post a pic soon. It looks pretty darn good. Sorry I can't respond to you all...but I do think of my CF friends each day. You are all always included in my prayers. We have such a special group here! Hugs to everyone

Hi friends! I'm taking a wee break from the mountain of laundry I am doing. Also, trying to spruce up the house a bit. I finally got around to hanging up a pic I bought on our vacation in August! lol Here's the scents I am enjoying.... YC jar ~ Mistletoe CLK ~ Blue Spruce S&S ~ ZB mixed with FP Marshmallow (actually, smells like VBN to me...it may have the wrong label on it.) Still...Smells great!!!! Off to finish some more folding...oh yay. I am not working this week until Black Friday! I'll be back later to catch up...haven't read anyone's posts. Love you gals!!!!

Good morning Melting Funnel Cake from Lilac Scentsation. It's an adorable tart shaped like a basket of flowers sent to me recently. Thanks to the lovely cf gal who shared this....Smells AWESOME! Jules, feel better...and I am over the moon with CLKS Gingerbread...think I need a tonnage of it! Well, off to work at Target soon. Holiday shopping has started...already lots of decor items and gifts being purchased! Working a 5 hour shift and then off to watch DS2 play hockey! Have a nice Saturday....hugs to all!
