Hey there! Melting FP Autumn Glory tonight and have a cinnamony jar candle burning... it's a Yankee American home that I bought on clearance after Christmas at Meijer. Decent throw on this one! Hey candle love! It's so important to stay on top of things with aging parents. I learned that the hard way years ago. I am my parents youngest, yet I was the one who handled a majority of their care as they got older, especially after my mom passed and my dad was alone. I was single and my sisters had families so they depended on me a lot. Thanks Debra and mp! It's nice having some time off after the crazy holidays in retail! honey bear, I can totally relate to being nervous about driving in hazardous conditions! My DS just got his license and here in Michigan you just have to learn to drive in all kinds of wet slippery stuff! I always tell him to take it slow if the roads are snow covered or slushy. I still remember once years ago I was driving to work one morning in snow and did a 180....ended up facing the wrong way!!! Yikes! Luckily no one else was around me, so I just continued turning until I was going in the right direction! Lol!!!! Hope everyone has a nice night!

Happy Sunday! Melting a coffee scent from FP today. The label was missing so not sure exactly what it is. Maybe it was a mystery tart???? Biolaeagles, hope you and the boys are feeling much better. It's always hard when they get sick and you get sick at the same time. I think I eventually became immune and was able to stay well even when they got sick.I'm enjoying this book so far..."Big Little Lies" by Lianne Moriarity thank goodness because I was getting frustrated lol. Mpfand rear end accidents suck! Just a couple months ago I was lightly rear ended in the school parking lot. No damage, but it still ticked me off ! Grrrrr! Maggie, did you get some snow? Ours has all melted pretty much. Debra, freezing rain is a nightmare! Not scheduled to work for the next several days! The holiday rush is over thank goodness!!!!! Gonna melt like crazy while I'm off!!!!

Hi everyone! Today I've melted SGA Cinnamon Glazed Baklava Latte and VCS Cookie Baking With Mom ~ both really good!???? Just got back from the library with a book my sister recommended. Hope it's good; the last couple books I've tried reading have been duds.

Good morning Melting Coffee Zucchini Bread from CLKS...holy cow its strong. It's Senior Night at the hs football game tonight. After the half time show, all of the seniors from the team and marching band get announced and escorted onto the field by their parents. I am so excited and proud to do this tonight! My oldest has been in the marching band all through hs and we've enjoyed watching them! Have a nice Friday everyone!

Hi everyone! Melting two from VCS today....We'll Always Have Paris and Pink Dorothy...both smell strong and fantastic! DH and DS#2 left today for a fishing trip. They're heading over to the west side of the state and tomorrow morning will be going out on a chartered boat to fish in Lake Michigan. Hope they bring home lots of yummy fresh lake fish. DS was beyond excited. DS#1 did not want to go...not a fan of fishing lol. He's going to head over to a friends house later for a last get-together of the summer before they start back to school next week. Maggie, hope the girls got settled in at school okay. Bet they're excited. Michele, hope your Dad is doing okay. debra, sorry, but this made me OMG!!! Are they serious? Or maybe just teasing you a bit? Have a nice end of the weekend everyone!

It's been very humid here lately...makes 80 degrees feel like 90. Melting VCS Scarlett and Rhett...a heavenly Bakery scent...bear claws, vanilla custard and granny's pie crust. I placed a VCS order yesterday...did anyone else? I went a little overboard yikes! Have a nice Friday.

Hey everyone I have 5 days off of work in a row! Got a bunch of things to get done, but also want to spend a bunch of time relaxing and hanging out with my boys. I haven't been in our pool once this summer, but today I will for sure. It's going to be hot here! Checked the water temp and it's 84 degrees! Sure will feel good to jump in after doing some gardening. Melting a VCS rose right now in The Fillmore...it's a fizzy sort of scent. Not sure I'd get it again, but it's nice. I remember Texas Scentsation too...her tarts were really good! mpfand, no mosquitos? Lucky you!!!! Gotta take Ozzy for his walk...

Good morning This morning I'm melting CFTKR Pomegranate Filled Jelly donuts...had this one for awhile considering I havent' been able to catch a CFTKR restock in ages. biolaeagles, the Strawberry Cream Bear Claw from CLK is extra yummy...I love it and will reorder soon since I have only one left. Excellent strength and throw too!!!! I hate mosquitos too! Got a couple of bites on my legs on the 4th. We have bats here but I still seem to get bitten...boo. Going to be hot and humid here today with an afternoon storm. We really need some rain it's so dry here. Working an evening shift tonight. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hi friends Tonight it's a chunk from SMT ~ Vanilla Ice Cream/Lavender/Vanilla Cake Pops. Can't believe how good this smells warm! Cold sniff was just sort of meh, but melted it's fantastic! Got this chunk in a dream box and now I want more! Love, love, love SMT. Upstairs, it's Bedtime Bath from SGA...a favorite and reorder. Maggie, I don't get much from the ST I've melted either. The only scent I've had throw like a champ was Wolverine's Woman...had a large flower in that and loved every bit of it. For some reason, the clams just don't throw for me. biolaeagles, to Reid! How cute! Hi sweet, hope your birthday was a good one! debra, usually the chunks are different scents from the overpour. You get some interesting blends that way. Oh, almost forgot to mention I got my order from VCS the other day and it's all so wonderful. She sure makes some beautiful wax...pleasing to the eyes and the nose! lol I sort of went a little overboard ordering but I was so surprised when I was able to put things in my cart and I just kept going...lol!!!!! Going to let most of it cure, but I couldn't help melting a couple right away. I picked the ones with earlier pour dates. Yellow Submarine and Blackberry Milk Glass are winners! Off to take a nice bath and read for awhile.
