Melting ST - Poltergeist (spearmint, vanilla cupcakes and sugar cookies)...not really getting much except a sweet minty scent...no cake or cookies notes at all. Just sort of a meh scent.... Hi everyone! Melting a couple FP scents today....Red Velvet Coffee and Pumpkin Buttercream Pastry &Eggnog. The coffee one is REALLY strong and good! I am so behind on reading posts...hope everyone had a nice Christmas! I've had to work the last two days and the boys have been sort of cooped up at home.... Buuuuut, NOT working today, so I'm taking them and two of their friends to see The Hobbit movie at 3pm. We're going to a new theater that has big screens and comfy seats....ahhh...relaxation! DH is out of town for the next couple weeks, so he'll miss out. He really enjoys the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. Off to try and get some laundry and general straightening up and sprucing up done around the house.... Hugs to all!

Hi everyone! Burning a PR candle from Yankee in Creme Brulee...love the crackling wick! I also have a melter going with S&S Bonfire Bliss Thanks for all the well wishes for DS...he went back to school today. Worked today and there were lots of cranky, demanding customers...guess the holiday stress is kicking in. One guy wanted to pay $5 for a $30 tree skirt! He claimed it was with all the $5 holiday decor. I told him it was still $30 and I could give him a 10% discount since it was in the wrong area. Nope, didn't want it. Fine, whatevs dude... Heading out to DH's company Christmas Party in a bit. Not that thrilled about going since it's all people he works with and I barely know these people. Oh well, at least I don't have to cook...lol. DS#1 is home from school today with a virus. Poor kid is so miserable...he stayed home yesterday also. He had a fever, cough, sneezing and headache. At least I don't have to work today, so I can take care of him. Hope he can go back to school tomorrow. I've been wiping down lots of surfaces with disinfectant this morning!!!!! Working 8 hour shifts in retail during the Holidays is not for the faint of heart for sure...lol. Builds character, right??? Here's some FUN news! We are getting a gas fireplace installed! I've been wanting one ever since we had our house built in 2005. I'd say I've been pretty patient! It's being put in as I type this....Yay!!!!! Hi there friends! I've been so busy with working and trying to keep up with the house here that I haven't been able to melt or post! Waaah! Target has been hectic. I am only supposed to be working part-time, but this week I'm working almost 40 hours! Next week, I am scheduled for 35 hours. I posted on the swap shifts board, so hopefully someone will take me up on it! I'm melting a couple of scent this morning before I head out...both from CF friends... Hey there! Melting BH&G Pumpkin Spice in my tealight warmer...thanks to the CF friend who shared this one with me. It's veddy nice! Denny, I am liking the 4 - 5 hours shifts also. With the pre-holiday shoppers, the time has been flying!!! Getting ready to head out to DS#2's hockey game and then off to work from 5-9pm this evening. Our hs football team has made it to the semi-final game today and if they win, they will play the championship game at Ford Field (where the Detroit Lions play!)...so DS#1 is at the game with the marching band. Sure hope they win!!!! That's it for now...have a great evening!

It's a nice place to work ...very upbeat. I know it's going to be hectic for the next month...hope I don't get burned out! lol This is why I'm glad it's only part time! I also get a 10% discount which is nice too. After not working for so many years, it's a welcome change for me. Sweet, I need to check out the waxies...I saw a guest (we never say customer! lol) with a bunch that were clearance priced! Oh yeah, I do not have to work on Thanksgiving (yes, Target is opening at 6pm)...so YAY! But I will be working on Black Friday! Gotta make a quick run to the grocery store for a few things... Hey there friends! We got snow!!! It looks so pretty! DH is a little ticked because he's not done with the ice rink yet. Right now I have melting.... SMT - Butter Brickle/Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream/Amish Friendship Bread FP - Black Coffee Bread These are both YUMMO!!!! I have a little secret....I got a part-time job! I have been working for almost 2 weeks at Target. This is the first time I've worked outside the home since DS#1 was born almost 16 years ago! Also, I have never worked in the retail business so it's a new experience. Glad it's only part-time though...still have a house and family to take care of! Hope everyone is doing well. Biolaeagles...hang in there with DS! Parenting sure has it's ups and downs, doesn't it? It isn't always easy, but you will come through it just fine. Have a good evening!

I had to dump Mr. Myers...there was a very heavy musk note that was all I could smell. Bummer because cold sniff was yummy.

Here's a pic of Ozzy in his Halloween costume Melting a blend from Tiffany Candles...you pick two or three scents and she will blend them for you and you get one pound of cute shapes depending on the season. Mine are skulls, bones and bats in a blend of Hocus Pocus, Cinnabon and PPW. Very, very yummy if I do say so myself! I enjoyed the extra hour of sleep even though I still had to get up at 7:30am to take Tony to his hockey game. It was picture day, so all the players had to be there dressed and ready by 9:30 followed by the game afterwards. Just relaxin', reading and doing some laundry. Wanted to come and say I just posted some SMT pOrn...

Good Morning friends! Hey cyn...how ya doin'? Perfect title cookielady! Did everyone have a scary good time last night? Not many trick or treaters here since the weather was so crappy...cold, wind, rain, snow...you name it. Funny, because we usually get so many that I actually run out of treats. Plus, the power went out around 5 pm so it was very dark for the majority of the evening,...came back on around 7 or so. Thank God. Neither of my boys went out. Nathaniel is 15 and has no interest anymore...he met a few friends at McD's and they ate and hung out for awhile. They remodeled it over the summer and it's honestly more like a Starbucks in there now...lol...you smell the coffee first when you walk in, not burgers or fries, and it's all wifi friendly...etc. Tony is 11 and was going to go with a few buddies, but changed his mind since he wasn't feeling that well. He caught a bit of a cold and was stuffed up and blah. This morning I'm melting - FP Caramel Apple Pumpkin Pie...oh my...love! Scentsationals Spiced Sugar Cookies...my last 3 cubes...repurchase!!!! sweet, you can "borrow" any of the emoties or images I post anytime!!! How do you think I got them in the first place? Honestly, I've collected so many over the years and I only get to use a small fraction. biolaeagles, how did trick or treating go with the little ones? Hi friends....I know I've been lame about posting my melts lately. I've still been melting and enjoying my wax though! Once an addict, always an addict...lol. Anyhow...here's the waxy scoop right now.... FP - Cinnamon Buttercream - delish! HHS - Granma's Waffle Cone...OMG! So good! FAM - Apple Pecan Sage....really nice! Also have a YC Pure Radiance candle burning in the scent "Pumpkin". I love the PR candles...they burn flawlessly and love the subtle sound of the crackling wick. This scent has quite a strong ginger note and reminds me of their Kitchen Spice fragrance. Has anyone else tried any of the PR candles? I just ordered 4 online with the buy 2, get 2 free sale. Can't wait to get them! Have a safe Halloween everyone!

Good morning Taking a wee break from the Fall scents (even though they are my favorite!) but this one smelled so yummy on cold that I had to melt it. It's FP Chocolate Peppermint Mallow Cookie...and it's really, really fantastic! I'm not normally into chocolate scents, but I love this... the peppermint, marshmallow and cookie really makes it YUMMO!!!! Kudos to Angie! biolaeagles, not sure if this will make you feel better or worse, but my boys were both nearly 4 years old before they were completely potty trained. Yikes, I know. They were both weird about #2...sorry if that's TMI. They both liked picking out "big boy" undies at the store....lol. Hi everyone... Melting a couple from FP today... Autumn Kitchen Mac Apple Marshmallow Hotcakes Maggie, hope you start feeling better! biolaeagles, potty training is no fun. Both of my boys were really stubborn! The pediatrician always said not to force the issue...it will happen!

sweet, it's a kcup I use in our Keurig machine. It's yummy, but a little too sweet for me. I also like to make just chai tea the old fashioned way...boil water, pour over teabag....and add some milk and a wee bit of sugar. Melting a pumpkin scent from Rainbow Melts...can't remember what the name was and I'm too lazy to go look...lol. Also have YC Spiced Pumpkin burning...love this candle, such a classic fall fragrance.

Melting FP Carnival Time and also Cinnamon Medley Gonna light my Sweater Weather candle too. Off to make a Chai Latte! I'm diggin' the Fall scents right now!
