April Fools for Fragrance

This morning is nice and cool, which is a welcome change. I've got all the windows thrown open, and I'm trying to get some housework done.

 

Melting:

- YC 'Lemongrass & Orange' in my room (the scent is almost gone but I haven't decided what to melt next.)

- Haley's 'Buttermilk Pancakes' in the living room. This one is not a super strong thrower, but the scent is very yummy. I just took some buttermilk out of the freezer to make some pancakes once everyone is up!

I swapped out the bedroom warmer and now I've got 'Lick Me All Over' from Missy's Tempting Tarts melting in there. It is nice and fruity, with some sort of floral note mixed in. Maybe jasmine? Nice scent, overall.

Good Morning and Happy Sunday..

 

The weekend is flying by, but its been a good one!! Had a nice date night with my dear husband last night, those are few and far between but we sure try to sneak them in when we can!!

 

Today I am melting CFTKR Fresh Picked Strawberries and its incredible!! Also I have a yummy CBV candle going in Exotic, one of her new scents and its soooo very good!!

Damaging tornadoes yesterday in VA & NC. We've got some buddies there...hope they can check in and let us know they're ok.

 

I'm melting SH's Vanilla Pound Cake and burning a candle in the same scent. Smell's wonderful in here!

It's a beautiful Sunday morning here. Latest melts:

 

Haley's - Zucchini Bread (nice), Coconut Keylime Pie (this was ok),

 

County Line - Stuffed French Toast, Amber Glow (good one, moderate throw)

 

Sugar & Spice - Apples & Maple Bourbon (nice - I like that the apple was not overpowering)

 

I cheated and tried some of my Albisa stuff - Peppermint Bark (Wonderful! Mix of peppermint and a hint of chocolate, really strong), Mango Tangerine (Another strong one, super fresh and fruity. This one turned on me after a few hours though)

This morning, I am melting Carol's Divine Cake which is uber strong. Going to switch to something else in a little while.

 

The weather is horrible here...cloudy, super windy and just plain cold and blah.

 

Fun plans for today include ....hope no one is jealous.

So far it's a nice mix.

I loved this morning's Peaches & Cream from Haley's. This afternoon it's been CCCC Vanilla da Bomb. This one is 100% droolworthy AND it started throwing like mad even before I got to the other side of the room. Seriously! I've never had that happen before. Vanilla Da Bomb, Oohhhh yeaaaahh!!

Tonight I'm melting Haley's Hawaiian Breeze, and it is pretty good. I wasn't sure about it at first, because the floral notes are pretty strong, but after a while the fruit started to come through. I think I would use this in a bedroom next time.
