The Melts go Marching One by One - Hurrah, Hurrah!

I've got Blue Violets from Crosscreek going now... I need to light a candle because it's gotten dark (gee - how did that happen?) I'm so glad the weather is nice. I've not been melting much because I've been gardening, but it looks like rain is going to change that.

BTW - if it's dark where you are, don't forget to check out the Super Moon. It's *beautiful*!

[smilie=th_welcome] SPRING--Happy first day of Spring everyone--I think it is going to be a lovely day here and after all the storming yesterday I am more than ready. To start the day I have on Mainstays Vanilla and Yankee Vanilla Cupcake. I am going to make chili in a bit so wanted something neutral for scent. Later on I'll switch to YC Lilac Blossoms in honor of the day. Have a good one everybody.

[smilie=th_oregonian_mornincoffe Good morning!

I'm melting Haley's "Apple Jack and Peel" in the livingroom. Offseason, but that's what I'm in the mood for. I love her version- even more than the Claire Burke candle that is is supposed to be imitating! [smilie=th_Skratta_Bankabordet] Sometimes I guess the original isn't always the best?

I'm melting/burning Apple Cinnamon this morning, a Cake Candle votive & tart and a SB candle in the same scent. It's smelling very applelicious in here! [smilie=th_00000020]

Doe, EW's orange chiffon cake is amazing, and that's the version that made me sit up and take notice of orange chiffon scents everywhere. Like the big bag of brittle I just bought from SH. It's a love affair for sure.

Today it's SH Snow Angels. I was rummaging around for another Christmas/wintry scent and found this one.

Hi all!

Hope everyone's Sunday is going well.

Puppy - what's that smell like? Do you smell the tea or is this more of a 'spa' scent?

Sweet, LSC White Tea & Ginger is a little hard to describe. It's soothing and yummy, but not a spa scent to my nose. It smells like tea, but not exactly black tea. It's the milder white tea. It has a teeny bit of herbal/floral in it, but then, that's kinda what tea is, isn't it? There's just a hint of ginger, so it's not a heavy spicy scent. I'm not very helpful, I know. Sorry! I dislike almost all florals but I love this! Unusual, "soft" and gently comforting (yet it's a big thrower, wow!) and it lasts and lasts and lasts. Definite reorder for me! [smilie=th_thumbs20up] Give it a try and let me know your thoughts, buddy!

Okay, so I've been spending a ton of time with my new friend, Ebay. I've gotten obsessed with votive holders lately and Ebay is good to know because she has a bunch of them for sale in all price ranges. I've had many cups of coffee with her the past couple days but our interaction hasn't been totally smooth. I tried to win a couple auctions but lost, and I was starting to think the friendship might not work out. [smilie=th_butbutbut] today I won! [smilie=th_yahoo] I paid such a puny price for a brand new in the box Tiffany & Co. lead crystal votive holder! Oooo! Aahhh GORGEOUS! [smilie=th_th3de3a8c4]

Melting CCCC Home Spun Sugar, perfection in wax! [smilie=th_stophierDancedancer04

Gail, who definitely needs to buy more votives!

Gail--congrats on the win--enjoy your new holder.

I went a bit crazy this afternoon and have candles lit all over--all Yankee--Lemon Zest--Vanilla Cupcake, Easter Egg Hunt, Sweet Strawberry and Tropical Fruit. It isn't even a cloudy day but I felt like fruits so I grabbed my lighter and started in. [smilie=th_tigger] Hope you all are having a great first day of Spring!

Sweet and Maggie, thanks for the sniffle condolences.

Gail - be sure and do the pOrn thing with your Ebay winnings! It is really easy to get hooked to that site, isn't it? In fact, that is how I first bought tarts! Vendor websites were not as common, and I spent a small fortune on that site. [smilie=th_pardon]

Today I am melting Eucalyptus from YC.

Hi everyone! I've got CCCC Baton Rouge going upstairs, and it sure smells good.

I heard that this scent is also called French Vanilla Oak by other vendors, but I can't see calling it that. To me, it smells really warm and spicey rather than vanilla'y and woody.

[smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr What a beautiful spring day today!!

I am melting LSC Blackberry Plum and burning a YC Vanilla Icing votive.

Picked the votive up at Target today and was wondering...has anyone tried the large YC candles at Target? Is the throw good?

Have a wonderful day! [smilie=th_WE1summer013]

Hi All-

Very busy weekend. All the kids were home. They just left. DD will go back to school in the morning. It was my niece's Sweet 16 party last night. Not much time for burning or melting at all.

I just started melting CFTKR Sweet Vanilla Zucchini Bread. Not much of anything yet but I love all Carol's Zucchini Breads.

Have a great night all!!!

[smilie=th_pullhair] I am disappointed! No throw whatsoever from my YC Vanilla Icing votive that I picked up today at Target. Darn! I have it right under my nose and have to lean over and burn my nose hairs to get a whiff.

Just added McCall's Apricot Preserves candle and still melting LSC Blackberry Plum tart. Of course the AP candle is discontinued and is my favorite candle ever!

Finishing out the evening with a lovely

Hawaiian Breeze from Haley's.

aaaahhhhhh, I can hear the rope of the hammock creak as it gently sways in the aromatic breeze.

Just hope a gust of wind doesn't flip me out!
