Happy Saturday everyone! Today it's Lavender Grosso from CFTKR. Interesting scent, perhaps a bit soapy for my liking, but I'll give it some time.

Burning YC Cinnamon & Sugar this afternoon. DH made coffee earlier, and this was one of the few things I had that would blend with it. We're about to go to the grocery store, and when we get back I'll pick something else to burn/melt.

Kim and Michele...What great accomplishments for your DC (DC = Darling Children). You both must be very proud! I asked my out of town guests about the scents I've been melting, and they don't mind at all if I melt stronger scents. . They are in for a surprise when I start adding some stronger ones. For now, I'm melting:

Carol's Vanilla Lime...nice scent just wish it were stronger

I have had a busy melting day while I cleaned closets!

 

Black Ginger Flowers - Wyde Ivy (wish it was stronger, it is nice!) 24w

Paradise Reef - Tropical Breezes - tealight, too old, I think

Green Tea and Jasmine - McCarley's - tealight, nice but crashed fast!

Orange and Chili Pepper - McCarley's - 24w - very strong and long lasting

Sweet Jasmine Vine - Woodland's - tealight. Pretty scent, mod. strong!

Rose Plumeria - Dreamtarts - 24w, no undersmell! Pretty good over all!

Palm Island - Daniella's - tealight, strong, strong, strong. (DS blew it out and I did not know until he had gone to work!)

Ending the day with Bizzy B's (deep breath) Macadamia Nut Cake & Sweet Ripe Banana. Whew - long name! But the tart is equally long on scent - yummers!

I didn't get much melting done today. In the late morning DH and I had dentist appointments (no cavities for me...yay!). Then we returned home to a terrible crockpot meal that went into the garbage. We took DD for a walk and then went to the supermarket to remake dinner but on the grill this time.

 

I'm finally getting down to melting and burning. I'm melting Caramel Sugar Crunch and burning Spa Fresh and Autumn Woods.

Pineapple Coconut ~ Candle Dippers....good, but faded quickly

 

Turquoise ~ Sweet Surrender....as always, a fantastic summer scent.

 

Hawaiian Thunder ~ GHBT....too floral for me

 

Pear Glace` ~ Crosscreek....awesome scent... very clean and fruity

 

Strawberry Kiwi ~ Blue Gecko....really strong and good!

 

Right now I have a GC Coconut Lime Verbena jar burning and put another tealight on for the Turquoise melt.

K - Louisiana Diva - Nene's - A very nice moderately strong scent

 

LR - Sandalwood - Rosa's - Another good scent from Rosa's

 

BR - PInk Sugared Watermelon - CFTKR - I love this scent - so good!

 

Bathroom - Blue Bonnet - Haley's - A great strong scent

 

 

I might add in one of Carol's votives to the bedroom and I have the remainder of the two Gardenia Lily votives from yesterday going in the bathroom.
