Today has been an oldie from Bella Bug - Yacht Club. It is not in her list anymore, but from other sites this scent is described as rain, strawberry and kiwi.

 

Well, I was a little disappointed that the scent was so weak - and all I got was the "rain" part of the description, but it is old, so what can you expect?

 

Anywho - my son comes in and says WOW that is way too strong! Can you blow it out for awhile? (Young noses...sigh...) I asked what he smelled - he got "pixie sitx" - a fruity smell. No rain! I told him it was "Yacht Club" - and he said -"yeah - that's it - I also smell a hint of old money".

 

i bet he keeps you laughing all the time doesn't he!!!

K - Sweet Chestnuts - AMS - a very nice moderately strong scent - A keeper!

 

LR - Windchimes - Can-Do - A very nice fresh clean scent - moderately strong

 

BR - Raspberry Lilac - CBV - This one is still going strong from last night - over 12 hours now - an awesome strong scent

 

Bathroom - 2nd tealight on Nene's Flowerbomb - a nice scent

I'm actually exhausted now. Trying to do all of that while sick is hard work. I'm drained!

mamalana, thanks for leaving a few Pear Toffee Drizzle! I'll vouch for that White Chocolate Peppermint Schnapps too! I knew those had to be good, and grabbed up 50 when she first listed them.

Melting LOL's Maple Walnut now. Can't tell if this is a keeper yet, but it sure smells good, and the maple is fabulous!

If all my tarts were as strong as Denimway's font colors, my search would be over for the strongest tart in the world! Very creative denim!

New scent added: Bella's Dreama - really strong with the 24w melter.

It's a strawberry rhubarb day...i love rhubarb scents...i mixed prairie soy aand Norman's versaions together ...it's pretty strong...off to view the wax porn!

The LoL-Vanilla Crack smelled so good for about 2 hours and it is fading fast. I do like this one though, just not really long lasting. I have started melting LoL-Pearamel in my FR. It is smelling delicious. I have been trying to expand my melting to include a few more bakery type scents. I have enjoyed most that I have tried so far.

Bigred, my biggest sympathies on your loss of smell... that is truely terrible. My paraprofessional at school hasn't had his sense of smell for over 10 years, he always comments on how he will never know how good my candles are. However, on the days when we have a vomit incidence he is the only happy camper in the school!

I saw my friend who owned the Red Bull distributorship here in town at the grocery store, and he offered to donate a bunch of beverages to our little after prom shindig tonight. Won't I be the most popular teacher in town when I send all the kids home at 3 in the morning hopped up on energy drinks?

I lit just my Booper's Cupcake candle now, I wanted to get a real feel for the smell and to see how strong it would be without a melt going in the next room. So far it is doing very well.

BigRed, I feel for you and your loss of smell. I'm sniffing my smellies through my cold right now. Can still smell them faintly, but wish there was more Oomph!

 

Earlier I had on a great assortment in the bedroom:

YC-Garden Sweet Pea 2 wick candle, I really enjoy the strength I get in this jar. I hope many of my favorites come out in 2 wicks, although I like my illuma-lids for the housewarmers.

Bizzy B's-Botanical Orchard and Nectar Blossom. This scent surprised me. After my experience with my first BB's candle, this one really melted well and fragranced the room nicely. Great sweetish floral type scent.

YC Kiwi Berries-this was a great tart to add to the mix, made everything smell so sweetly. I may have to pick up a few more tarts in this scent. Really LOVE the combo with my Garden Sweet Pea candle.

 

Now melting Pink Sugared Grapefruit from CFKTR in these cute little pink egg shapes she sent as a sample!

 

I like sick days, gives me more time with my smellies. (I took a 3 hour nap this afternoon!). Wish I didn't have to be sick to take a sick day, but it seems to be only bad at night and when I wake up. Hope the cough passes soon. Anyone have any cough syrup laced with codeine?

Today I was melting Chocolate Raspberry Roll from AMS, this is the first one that I have tried from her that I really don't like. Just my nose I am sure.

 

Tonight I have Grandma's Kitchen going from Gramma Frans Fixins, this is a really nice scent.

Hi All! I didn't get a chance to melt today. We spent the day out running errands, visiting with relatives, and going to a birthday party. However, for tomorrow I have CFTKR's Apple Bread and Lavender Vanilla lined up. I can't wait!

I missed lots here yesterday.....was so busy, I never got a chance all day to melt and post. I did melt one tart last night very late....it was CD Tranquility. I had to turn the melter off. It was a strong scent, but too perfumey for me.

 

Aww, bigred, hope your sniffer recovers soon.

 

I am melting Crosscreeks Iced Lemon Biscotti right now and it is simply heavenly!
