Normally I wouldn't be melting or burning anything in the middle of a weekday, but unfortunately I'm home sick today.

 

 

I've been worse, but it's still not much fun. At least I get to have a candle going though! Today it's YC Macintosh. Might do a remelt of Nene's Cozy Kitchen later, too. I think they would go well together.

Good morning! I am hoping for a much better day today! My LOL box should be coming in today I am sooo happy!!! Plus my order from GHBT came in yesterday and we popped in Doodle Bug which is just so great you can't help but smile! I have so much paperwork to get done today...we'll see how much I get accomplished.

Today I am melting Tahitian Vanilla from CBV. YUMMY!!!!

Hi all. Still sicky sick (as DP would say) and I think I feel worse than I did yesterday which isn't a good sign. I hope this isn't the flu, because the last time I had the flu it turned into pneumonia and I had to go to the emergency room because it was becoming very difficult to breathe and I had a 104 fever. So not fun.

 

 

I tend to sleep a lot when sick so these are my first melts of the day:

 

K - Cool Citrus Basil - Blue Gecko - A really good moderately strong scent but GHBT's version is just a bit better IMO.

 

LR - Polo - AMS - This is a very nice scent but to me it smells nothing like Polo cologne, which is one of my all time favorite colognes.

 

BR - Forever Alice - Blue Gecko - This awesome scent reminds me a lot of Christy's Jack Frost scent, which I also love.

 

Bathroom - Water Garden - YC - I've decided that those Yankee scents that don't do well in the larger rooms will be relegated to the bathroom and this really nice scent is doing much better in a smaller room. I could barely smell it in my bedroom.

 

I'm also burning my Illuminations Rose jar in the bathroom.

I am getting a late start today. Just lit my first GC candle-Strawberry Shortcake. I can actually smell it. I hope I really like these candles. I bought 5 of them. I am anxious to try them since I never seem to get a good throw with most candles. I will change out the melters in a bit.

I'm re-melting Vanilla Berry Cream Puffs from Blue Gecko and added Strawberry Kiwi from Blue Gecko to the kids' bedrooms. I'm meeting DH for lunch so I need to go do this This can wait til tomorrow!

This morning I'm melting CFTKR Pink Sugared Grapefruit - LOVE THIS! What a surprise as I didn't think I would care much for it. It will definitely be a reorder. Also melting Nene's Sun Moon & Stars - it's just okay.

I'm melting White Christmas Wedding from HoT. I don't have the scent description but it definitely has some sort of evergreen and maybe a cake scent to tone down the evergreen. It is really nice.

It's a real live giant rabbit! Freaky, right? I thought it would be good for April Fool's Day, but it's supposedly the real deal. I put it on my avatar early so none of you would grab it before I could.

I know I need to let these GHBT tarts cure a little to get stronger, but I can't stay out of them! When the Doodle Bug wore out we put in Lavender Apple, and I love it too!! :(

I was really hoping I would get my LOL box today, my click n ship shows that it is in town, but it must be being delivered tomorrow.

Melting one of the LOL tarts Monalissa sent me. Its called Pear Toffee Drizzle and wow is it ever strong. Im so glad now that I made a big order with LOL. If I could just get it .....Thanks again Monalissa, love this one.

I SPOKE TOO SOON.... never send a young man to do a woman's work! I sent a kid down to check my mailbox, and the box from LOL was so big it wouldn't fit so it was on the floor and he just didn't see it! I am in HEAVEN!! I will post PORN pictures here in a minute!! :(

Melting CrossCreek's Baton Rouge. I'm pleasantly surprised w/this one.... I like it! I didn't know what I was smelling so looked up the description..."Baton Rouge-Shimmering in the dusky heat and lining the banks of the tranquil Mississippi, 100-year-old Oaks reach majestically to the sky. I have 3 huge oaks in my backyard...but I don't think they smell this good. Maybe I'll try sprinkling them w/some vanilla & spices...:(
