October's Haunting Fragrances

Recommended Posts

Good Morning... I just took out two samples from Things That Make Scents... Candy Corn and Hot Apple Pie... they were stuck in the little plastic cups, so I just tossed them in the freezer (hopefully after a few minutes they will pop right out of the cups)... I should be melting them soon!

Hope everyone has a nice day!

Today I am enjoying (while home from work for the day..........lol) Cottage Hill Creations Harvest melt and burning a candle from Kathy Ireland in Vanilla Cream Crumb Cake.

If anyone is looking for the PERFECT vanilla, Vanilla Cream Crumb Cake is IT. It is awesome with just the right cream and nothing perfume in it.

mixing CH Sugar Butt and YC Granny Smith mmm I wish I could find a blend like this. The apple takes the bitter vanilla edge off of sugar butt

Have you asked a vendor that does customs to try to mix this up for you? Busy Bee comes to mind.

Today is very gray and rainy. I have Cheryl's Cinnamon Buns candle sitting on the warmer.

Switched out the melters today to YC's Autumn Leaves (a favorite, I only have 1 left!), and Crackled Birch from GHBT's.

Just went and had lunch with my daughter at school - I think they should give parents a button when they leave that says "I survived the lunch room"! (Which probably applies more to the food than the kids)....ugh.

For the rest of the day it is YC Christmas Cookie--a favorite.

YC Christmas Cookie has always been and will remain a favorite of mine. Its just perfect.

Today I am still working on my Kathy Ireland Vanilla Cream Crumb Cake and now melting Beanpods McIntosh Apple soy beads and something very fall but candy like, from Crosscreek Country Candles.

House has smelled yummy all day long. Back to work tomorrow. No more hooky for Maurie.

The wonderfully yummy Crosscreek scent that I have going is called All Hallow's Eve. I just went over and checked.

Deana has closed her site for a bit. Probably closing to concentrate on all her recent orders.

Good Luck to anyone who is waiting for something from Crosscreek Country Candles.

They are nice.

Finally got around to melting something. Downstairs it's Carmel Corn from Spotted Hog (fabulous), upstairs it's Witches Brew from Illuminescents.

I have LOL's Cranberry Orange Bread going in the bathroom again and Mookie Doodle's Spiced Apple Layer Cake in the living room. The spice apple layered cake is probably my favorite of the order.

Maurie, I received an email from Deana today as an update. The response to her sale was overwhelming and now her TAT will be about 4 weeks. She did say she was temporarily closing her site so she could work exclusively on her orders.

For tonight I have melting YC Boo-Nilla and Crosscreek Monster Munch.

Burning YC Harvest, YC Spiced Pumpkin and PI Pumpkin Pie.

It smells great in here!

Good evening!

Ahhh...the lunch room. I had cafeteria duty twice during my tenure as a middle school teacher. Once during my first year and once during my final year when I was in my first and second trimesters. So lovely...crazy kids + stinky food + lots of noise + morning sickness = not so pleasant experience. The other teachers that were on duty with me were very understanding and even gave me breaks when I needed to get away from the smell during my morning sickeness phase.

Tonight I'm melting Carol's Red Velvet Fluffer.
