It's frosty outside here - and now I'm realizing Christmas is over (whew!) and I have a ton of unmelted "holdiay" scents.

On a mission . . . .

Burn up the scents and burn off the lingering sting from recent family drama. Gonna take awhile on both accounts.

Laurie, I'm in the same boat...I went from having no holiday scents to too many!! I didn't switch my melters as much as I anticipated...they really lasted a long time and I enjoyed each one throughly! We still have January and February, right?

Hi all! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Today I decided to take down the tree and decorations and switch from holiday scents to what I consider everyday non-seasonal scents. I love the holidays, but it is kind of nice to have the house back to normal.

TBG Berry Wreath...it smelled so good in the container but once it started melting...not my thing...out it went.

Switched to:

BH Apple Dumpling and Buttercream Drizzle Bread...yum.

Hi, candle friends. DH and I are back from our Christmas travels. We had a wonderful time with family in Nebraska. (His side, but I adore them.) Only downside is, they have two cats, and put that together with returning to our own cat, and my allergies have gone bonkers like none other. I've been miserable ever since we came back. So, no melting or burning until I feel better. (Thinking of waxies when my nose feels like this is like thinking about food when you're nauseous.) DH and I have plans to ultimately give our kitty to my parents, but that can't happen until Easter when they can come visit and fly her home. So I have to survive until then.

 

I hope that everyone's holiday celebrations have been great this year. Aria, hope you feel better soon!

We're getting some snow showers here ...enough snow on the grass for DS#2 to take his new sled out to the little hill in the backyard...still waiting for the ice rink to freeze over it just hasn't been cold enough

Christy and Aria: I hope you feel much better soon. Love your Avatar Aria. I need to check on Phoebe the Hummingbird. It's a great site to check on her and her life in the nesting world. I, too have lots of holiday melts to get busy melting. This morning it's Cozy Cottage Holiday Hearth. DS and his GF have been transforming a spare bedroom(his old one) into my office/hide away for me. My computer is finally OUT of my kitchen/DR area. They bought shelving. new curtains picture frames and displayed some of my Barbies. After a coat of paint and a nice comfy chair it will be a perfect spot just for me. They couldn't have thought of a nicer gift. I hope everyone had a nice holiday and I will be checking in here and there and more after they leave to go back to Penn.
