I am really enjoying reading about everyone's holiday scents!! I started Nene's O Christmas Tree this morning and will probably continue melting it later in the day.

Yay! Got a Mookie Doodle shipping notice this morning! Looks like stuff will start rolling in pretty soon!!

Jules, I have melted the same Nene's tart three times total so far and it still has scent, but only one of the three sessions was a multi-hour melt. I have heard that 24-watt melters use up the scent faster than other melters, but so far I am pleased with both the throw and the longevity of my first tart. (Of course, take this with a grain of salt if you want, because I don't have much of a frame of reference for this sort of thing...) P.S. I'm really excited too!! :P I can't wait to break out the holiday scents tomorrow, they're my favorite in candles but I can try way more scents in tarts!!

Update: I am really enjoying the new melter. Today I cracked and placed an Everyday Whims order, so I have added that to the list of packages I can wait for! I also got an AMS shipping notice recently (with tracking -- woohoo!) and I can't wait to get it because I got the winter holidays sampler! Maybe one of these days the Spotted Hog holiday melts will come too. :P

This is the same as what I did on BF, MD and AMS first time orders. I got a shipping notice from AMS today, but I think I remember ordering first thing in the morning on BF.

Update on the new melter: It works great and looks cute, plus I am impressed with how much of a throw you can get just by melting a small piece of wax. I used to wonder how there could possibly be any scent in those tiny things when I usually don't get as much scent as I want out of a big jar candle. But man, Nene's Country Craft Store scented the heck out of my living room! (When DH got home he said, "Wow, I can actually smell it!" (Usually I light a candle and then ask him if he can smell it, and he usually says no...) This melting stuff is pretty fun!! Time for bed pretty soon so I can give a killer presentation in my seminar tomorrow! Night all!

Yay! My melter finally came in the mail today! I selected Nene's Country Craft Store for my FIRST MELT EVER, people. Pretty excited!! The pink melt looks great in the pink melter.

Hooray!! My melter finally arrived today, just as I had given up hope!! (I literally went to the mailbox in my apt. complex and found nothing, only to be surprised by a knock on my door a few minutes later!!) [smilie=th_WooHooRainbowWaveJackie_vi7] This is the one I was really waiting for!! P.S. In case anyone was wondering, I fired it up immediately.

Backtracking to YC Harvest when I had previously switched over to Red Berry & Cedar for the Christmas season. Both are great scents, IMO. Hopefully they will keep me content a few more days while I wait for USPS to bring me my melter!

Thanks for the encouragement! That's cool that we have the same one. I'll give it a few more days -- I guess it is the holiday season after all. Maybe lots of people bought stuff online on Friday and Monday.

It's one of the pink warmers from Soyful Expressions, through USPS. I got an email saying it shipped last Wednesday with priority shipping, which is supposed to take 2 business days. Even with Thanksgiving, I was hoping it would be here by now, but hopefully it just needs another day or two.

Sweet&spicey, I'm jealous. :? My melter is taking several extra days according to the shipping schedule and when it was shipped. I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with my order, or with the post office!! Tomorrow's another day...

no melter today STILL...supposedly it was shipped last Wednesday priority mail (which says 2 days on the website, even with Thanksgiving I hoped it would be here today!) but still not here. Did get the Mookie Doodle sampler but all I can do is sniff them cold. Oh well, tomorrow's another day...

WTG, stardustgirl! I haven't gotten any shipping notices recently, but I'm still hoping for some of my pre-BF stuff to come along one of these days. (Also, great job in the contest today! That was masterful! )
