Yes I did (testing it in several melters now). So far, I haven't found a favorite.

I'm surprised you don't like that one. I was betting that you would. I love the Rose Merry Mint and think it's quite strong too. Everyone's nose is truly different.

K - Canary Island Banana - YC - This one seems more floral than I thought it would be but it's a good one. I wish I could find a jar of this scent!

 

LR - Afternoon Tea Party - GG - A goos strong scent

 

BR - Vineyard - YC - A very nice moderately strong scent

 

Bathroom - Dune Grass - YC - A nice moderately strong scent

 

 

Also burning my YC Sand Castles Swirl jar in the bath.

I dug mine out and started it, and I am with the rest of them, I LOVE IT! I have found yet another I am willing to go back and buy a jar candle of!

Started the morning off with Swedish Meringue Cake from CYS....it's nice but not unique enough for me. And not too strong. Added Vanilla Bean Noel Cookies from S&S. I think I need more "stink"...not enough.

OK, I have finally found a LEMON scent that I love. I don't like lemon mixed with bakery or a sweet icky lemon either. I am melting Southern Star's Lemonhead and its awesome. Its a strong one for sure and it just reminds me of an ozone type lemon. Like fresh air and lemon. I don't know if this makes sense. I just love that there is no bakery in this one and its dang strong too. I have it in my kitchen electric melter and within 10 minutes I could smell it in the other room.

 

Last night I melted 1/2 of a Southern Star's Strawberry Cake and loved that one as well. This is a true Strawberry and Cake scent. Not like strawberries and cream. I could smell the cake in this one and it had a good throw too, considering I was only using 1/2 a tart.

Well, 1/2 of her tarts is 1oz. , so I guess thats pretty average. The tarts are huge and I couldn't be happier with my results so far.

 

I must start saving my pennies and pick up some more of these. I hope she comes up with some more new scents to try.

Maurie, funny you should mention Southern Star Scents. Last night I tried my first melt, Raspberry Guava. It had the most wonderful fruity scent, and a throw that was killer. Within 20 minutes with the tart in my bedroom, I could smell it through the entire house. Kim may be one of my new Go-To Vendors!
