Hi Popping in to say hello, but everything looks strange, and where are our cute emojis? Are they gone forever?? Well, I guess since I’m already a mess, I might as well shed a few tears for the emojis, too. DD#1 is still here but leaves tonight. We’ve been enjoying precious family time prior to seeing DD#2 off to France yesterday. It’s been tough, and my eyes are showing it. So proud of her, but mixed emotions with my baby girl going off to live in a foreign country all by herself not knowing a soul for eight months. Hope everyone is doing well here. Miss you guys.

It’s called Wise Counselor, though, not Tart Wars. Tart Wars is the collection it is in. That scent is one of the first I ever tried and is responsible for getting me hooked. Amy ~ It’s amazing how much you melt in those hotel rooms. Debra ~ I love any and all Twisted Peppermint blends. Susan ~ How was that Cotton Candy Cream Cheese blend? But last week, Lila was sleeping in the kitchen sink, and Heidi decided she wanted to be there, too, and got on top of her. It didn’t last long. Lila is about half her size! Last month Heidi was already at 14 pounds, and she is technically still a kitten until her birthday next week. Susan ~ The shapes get me every time, but I am trying hard not to look at a new vendor. Hello everyone! Maggie ~ Glad you are on summer break! Hope you get some good R&R! Debra and Michele ~ Enjoy your time at the beach. Amy ~ I lhad to laugh at your DH’s grumbling. It’s been a hard week. Tuesday my DH found out an old very special friend passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was so devastated that it made him physically sick and unable to function for a couple of days. So scary. And just as DD#1 is having nightmares about the recent shooting at her work, DD#2 heard about a brutal attack of her friend. It was an old man from some of her French classes who was beaten in the head with a rock and robbed. This happened right around the corner from my mom’s house. This is the third attack like this. A couple others have been beaten with bricks in the same area. Is it any wonder I’m so anxious about my daughters still lliving in Albuquerque??? I needed more of the Merman sent to me by a sweet CF friend. It was amazing! Then today, I happened upon the long-awaited S&S opening, and frantically started throwing stuff in my cart before it was all gone. Have a good evening.

Amy ~ So sorry to hear about your SIL. Michele and Debra ~ Hope you enjoyed the graduation parties. We enjoyed having DD#2 here for a few days, even though she wasn’t feeling well a good chunk of the time. Then, right after her plane landed last night, DD#1 called to tell me there had been a shooter at her new job, a popular brewery in Albuquerque, but that she was safe. An off-duty FBI agent happened to be there when a guy stalking his ex pulled out a gun, and the FBI agent shot and killed the guy. Fortunately, my daughter didn’t see that part because she was crouched down on the floor with a bunch of other people in the kitchen before they got out the back door, but still is traumatized. She heard several shots fired and had no idea how many people were getting shot. So grateful she is safe. Swanky Lavender Paris Vanilla Lace
