Pink Bubblegum Bath & Body Works Candle Review

First impression of Pink Bubblegum:
I purchased Pink Bubblegum during Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale and boy was I glad I nabbed this one. I know it’s a previously released fragrance and makes me wonder why I never purchased it before? I loved it!! I seriously loved every second of it!
Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:
A fragrance you can really sink your teeth into with notes of pink sugar cane, juicy watermelon and a hint of vanilla.
Hmmm. Watermelon? I don’t think so. To me, this candle smelled exactly like pink bubblegum – like Hubba Bubba or Dubble Bubble, bubble gum. It was seriously identical to those two and so realistic, I truly could imagine sinking my teeth into this scent.
Time to light this candle!
I was hoping this would be a room filler so I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start out. About 2 hours in, I ended up moving it to a medium size room. Alas, a large room was too big for this fragrance. A medium size was much better. Once moved… the scent traveled through my guest bedroom with ease. The aroma… sweet and sugary bubble gum and smells exactly like Hubba Bubba. What a fun scent this was and so pretty to watch burning. The pink wax darkened once the wax melted and the contrast was really striking. Funny how I notice those little details, but I do.
Strength – I would rate this candle a 5 out of 10 in a really large room. 8 in a medium and I’m guessing 10 in a small size room. Not a room filler for sure but still a fun scent worth trying.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
Pink Bubblegum was a fun scent worth trying if you can get your hands on one. Just keep in mind it isn’t super strong but it sure is pretty to watch burn. I do recommend this candle if you love sweet candy type scents. It really did smell exactly like pink bubblegum.
Don’t see this scent on Bath & Body Works website? Maybe try one of their stores. I purchased mine online and do see it every once in awhile. It’s just one of those hit or miss opportunities.
