Wow! I haven't posted since August 16th and I'm amazed at the changes. The format is very nice, but it will take some time to get use to. I'd been busy getting all three of my sons prepared for the start of school. They started this week. Two are in college, but living at home, and my youngest is in high school. I went back to work this week and found out that due to budget cuts in both school districts I work for, I'll be working part-time this year. The negative is less money, but the positive is having more time for family, home, friends, and of course melting/burning. Gotta keep focused on the positive! Tonight I've been melting Kim's Strawberry White Cake. Sooo good! Goodnight all.

Gail - It sounds like you had a wonderful time. This evening I'm melting Village Candle - Lemon Pound Cake. Very nice! Wishing everyone a good night.

Gail - Can't wait to hear about your fun day in Old Pasadena! Candlefan - I didn't know what Lush was either. Thank you for your detailed description. It sure sounds like a fun store to browse through. I'm melting SSS - Vanilla Berry. It is no longer on her scent list. Bummer!

F - Fresh Strawberries

I like working in my yard, but I really don't care much for house cleaning. Yard work is so much more rewarding. Whatever I get done in the yard will continue to look good for a few weeks. The house on the other hand looks like a cyclone hit it a day or two after I've been busy cleaning. The person below worked part-time at a minimum wage job while in high school.

Gail - I was in your neck of the woods today. My youngest DS had a soccer game at Victor Valley College this morning. This afternoon: Melting Kim's - Blazing Blueberry Cobbler in the FR (Yummy!) Burning Slatkin - Strawberry Patch in the LR (FABULOUS!)

It sure is nice to be back posting again. I enjoy reading your posts and chiming in whenever I can. :P This afternoon I've been melting SSS - Vanilla Bean Noel in the FR. Good, long lasting scent. I'm also burning Slatkin - Summer Vanillas Berry. It is burning well and has a good throw. Slatkin 3 wick candles sure look pretty burning.

Unfortunately horseback riding never interested me. The person below me use to catch lightning bugs/fireflies as a child.
