I have had a fun afternoon browsing the Candle Dippers website thinking of ways to spend my $10! :P Just popped in to say that I'm remelting GHBT Strawberry Jam and it is fabulous!! Smells great and has lasted a really long time IMO. A definite reorder (and I think I only wound up with this one via the fruit sampler!). YC Lemon Lavender going in the bathroom. We put in an apartment maintenance request for our toilet, so I was hoping to get compliments on how nice the bathroom smelled. But seeing as it's almost 6 PM, they're more likely to come tomorrow. Rats.

Earlier today I did a remelt of Nene's Shore Club. This one was pretty long-lasting. Now I'm burning my Michael's Seaspray candle (the crumbling has gotten worse and worse, but it's still going), burning a buttercream scented candle from a place in NE, and melting GHBT Strawberry Jam. It smells weird up close, but at a moderate distance it's yummy!

Thanks for the info, Jason. I definitely like grass as a smell, so I'll have to add Green Grass to my list of scents to watch for during the June sale! (crossing fingers...)

Yay! I am looking forward to getting this box! Plus it's coming at the perfect time, because I just got back from a trip and won't go on my next one until the 26th, which leaves plenty of time for the box to get here and for me to send it out.

Hi all! I'm back from my trip!! Had a good conference AND visit with my parents. Plus my mom has a tendency to buy me things, like clothes and haircuts...and I found my MIL an absolutely KILLER gift that I can't wait to give her (although her bday is in October). It's nice to be home. I immediately started a remelt of my last Nene's tart and lit my Michael's pillar, which I have some p0rn of that I will post later. I also noticed some big mushrooms on the wick of my LOL candle -- DH burned it while I was gone!! Pretty cute. It's good to be back! P.S. Jason, how's that YC Green Grass? I am wondering if it will be on sale in June.

It finally worked! I voted for Pink Sugared Lime and Sticky Cinnamon Goodness. There were several others I liked, though.

Tonight I am going to try burning my pillar from Michael's, and I'll probably put on Shore Club from Nene's to go with it (the candle scent is Seaspray). Rosa's judges, have any of you tried to vote yet? I have my paper insert with an ID # and password, but when I bring up the screen, it asks for an email instead. I've tried various likely combinations of this info and nothing seems to work.

Ever since DH's graduation, I have been melting lots of the Rosa's judging tarts. It has been really fun, but I will be happy to return to melting normal tarts after this. Don't think I'll get around to it until next week though, because I'm going out of town Thursday and won't be back until Sunday. So far my Rosa's picks are the Pink Sugared Lime and a cinnamon one -- I think it's called Sticky Cinnamon Goodness. But now I'm trying some of the ones with weirder names, so we'll see...

Greetings all, and congrats to Lana's DD! I've been busy testing these Rosa's sample tarts yesterday and today. With one melter it is going pretty slow, but I've been switching them out frequently compared to normal tarts. It's fun to try a bunch of different scents. Tomorrow I am planning a major candle accessories excursion to several local places, to see if I can find votive holders like they sell at Colonial. If not, then I'll place the order and eat the shipping. But it will be fun to look anyway!
