It's a pumpkin festival around here today. I got a Nene's pumpkin sampler this week so today I'm melting Candied Pumpkin and Pumpkin Cheesecake.

This one is heavy on the cream and caramel but it doesn't smell much like coffee. To me it's more of a creme brulee scent. It's good, but not in a coffee scent sort of way. Nene's Caramel Cinnamon Macchiato has a stronger coffee note.

I need a new avatar. sigh* Sweet&Cindy, have you ever smelled Kitchen Herb? Crosscreek had both Kitchen Spice and Kitchen Herb scent dupes and I couldn't remember which one (or both) I liked so I ordered a tart of each. Aren't they both BBW dupes?

Damage alert! I caved for a few creme fraiche at Savor yesterday, or was that today. I lose track of days during a wax and soap shopping bender. So, anyway, at Savor I got Fuzzy Navel, Pacifics, and Blackberry Sugar Crunch.

Happy Wednesday. I just changed out the melters this afternoon. I hope all of these scents play nicely together. Sugarscents - Lavender in the bedroom Yankee - Grapevine & Oak in the kitchen Candledippers - Island Girl in the living room Also a candle from Bluewick called Bahia. It smells like Jasmine. So far all I smell is the YC Grapevine & Oak. I think I'm going to like this one.

Candledippers - Lemon Verbena. I put it in the bedroom melter and smelled it all the way into the kitchen. Awesome scent. Also lit BBW Summer Boardwalk candle.

I'm melting Butter Cake from Nene's. It smells yummy. DS is at his first HS football game tonight. It feels weird without him home at this time of night. ..and it's only the beginning of his teen years. What's a mom to do?

Happy Saturday. I've got a few candles burning today - votives mostly. After dinner I'm going to add a few melts. Tara's Candle Cottage - Gooey Candy Corn Bread, and Toasted Pink Marshmallows Can-do - Sweet Milk I finally got a higher wattage replacement light bulb for my melter and I'm excited to try the new higher heat tonight.

Dark and stormy days are so cozy. We've had heat and sun this week. I cut into my Pineapple Upside Down Cake loaf melt from Butterfly Lane. It felt like cutting into the real thing. Very tempted to bite it.

Hi Sunday melters. I'm sniffing Nene's Orange Pound Cake this afternoon. Plus candles galore - same from earlier this week. I'm wanting to light a new candle or two, but must finish up these first.

I got compliments yesterday when I used Savor - Coconut Mochi creme fraise Today I opened a new bar soap. Lather's and Lights - Honey Blossom. It ... is... amazing! Creamy and fragrant. It reminds me of my beloved Raspberry Honey soap from Haunt that I'm not quick enough to get anymore.
