  1. Just put in Angie's Spiced Cranberry for the evening. Nice scent. Angie's tarts seem to be improving with age. Now I feel like I wasted the ones I melted before they had a chance to cure.
  2. Good Morning, everyone. Melting Angie's Cozy Home downstairs and Amish Quilt in the loft. Her melts seem to be doing better this week than when I first got them. Maybe they just needed to cure. Don't know yet if I'd re-order because I still have a few others on my list to try before I decide on my top 3, including Crosscreek. Do they ever have sales? That's what I've kind of been waiting for. I e-mailed Donna from CanDO yesterday and she said my order will ship today. I ordered on Jan. 7, but she said she was swamped during her sale. Also have orders from Nene's and Bella's on the way!
  3. Still melting Cashmere Scarf from Bella's. Very nice scent, light throw. I also ordered the 10 pack sampler when I placed my first order with CHC and had mixed results. I thought the Cinnamon Vanilla would be wonderful, but it had almost no throw. I also thought the Butter Rum Spice & Cranberry Cumble had almost no throw. I did like Cedar & Saffron, but it didn't last very long. My favorites that had a great throw and lasted a long time were Caramel Nut Cluster and Twigs and Berries, but I decided to pass on this sale and instead take advantage of Bella's sale. Maybe next time...
  4. Just put in Bella's Cashmere Scarf for the evening. I have to see if I like it before I place my order tomorrow!
  5. I enjoy cooking, too, Jewel. I love to flip through cookbooks looking for new ideas and recipes.
  6. Melting YC Ocean Water in the powder room and Angie's Amish Quilt in the kitchen and loft. Trying to resist the temptation to order from LOL since I'm patiently waiting for my orders from CanDo and Nene's. They're definitely on my to-try-next list, though!
  7. Just put in Prim Fixins from Angie's for our big Saturday night at home. :( I really wanted to like Angie's metls since CS was A+ but so far I am not impressed. The cold smell on all of them are wondeful, but they have no throw.
  8. Nanna's Pound Cake from Bella's is a definite winner that the whole family likes. It isn't even completely melted yet (it's taking forever) and it's already scenting the entire downstairs.
  9. I mostly wear body sprays and lotions from B&BW. Like my home fragrances, I choose what to wear based on the season. I love Sensual Amber, Blackberry Amber and Brown Sugar & Fig for fall/winter and Cucumber Melon, Pearberry and Magnolia Blossom for spring/summer. I also love Pear Blossom, but it's been discontinued. I only have one tube of body cream left from last year's semi-annual sale. There is a B&BW outlet about 45 minutes from here so I may go check that out soon. They have a lot of their discontinued scents there. When I do wear perfume I love Clinque's Happy and Lovely by Sara Jessica Parker.
  10. Just put in Nanna's Pound Cake. This is the palm wax sample I got from Bella's. There was no throw from the Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee from Angie's. I loved the cold smell, but once melted, nothing.
  11. I am melting Angie's Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee this morning, although I haven't been able to tell I'm melting anything since my husband is fixing eggs, bacon and hashbrowns for breakfast. The bacon smell definitely overpowers everything else!
  12. I've been wondering how Bella's signature scent is. It sounds wonderful. Another one to add to my list! I just put Bella's Winter Wonderland in the MBR. Very fresh, clean smell.
  13. momuvtwo I have been strictly a tart person now for about a year. My husband is so happy that I have found an alternative to candles (he never liked them for safety reasons and because of the soot) that he never says anything about all the tarts I buy.
  14. Glad to have you join us, Jason, and congratulations on being the first guy. I actually have my husband into melts now. He even has an electric burner on his desk at work! I used to be a die hard Yankee fan until I discovered Candlefind. I still enjoy their scents, but now I only purchase their tarts occasionally.
  15. Welcome, Heidi. I have great admiration for anyone who homeschools. Look forward to hearing your input on melts!
  16. Ok, here I go on the new forum. It looks like a lot of fun! I am still melting Amish Patchwork Quilt from Bella's. May switch soon as it seems to be getting weak.
  17. momuvtwo- Thanks! Now I'm torn; I want to order from Sugar and Spice, but I also want to take advantage of Bella's upcoming free shipping sale. I'm also still intrigued with Country Buttons, but I have an order on the way from CanDo so really need to slow down a little. So many tarts, so little time!
  18. Glad you made it to Texas safely, mtiffany. Maybe once you're more settled you'll find things to like about Texas. Being an Air Force wife, I can empathize with you. Moving from Guam (tiny, tropical island) to Las Vegas (big city, dry desert) was a total shock. Anyway, glad you had something on hand to cut the smell from the movers. Been there, done that! I am now melting Bella's Amish Patchwork Quilt in the kitchen. Bella's is fast becomming one of my favorites.
  19. momuvtwo- What scents did you order from Sugar and Spice? I think I will order from them next and also Country Buttons. They have the cutest button shaped melts-6 1oz melts for $3.99! Cat- I love Victorian style homes, too. Especially with wrap around porches... Although we're not quite in the 60's yet, we're close at 58! My mom lives in ID and is complaining about driving on slick roads. Although it gets HOT here in Vegas during the summer months, I wouldn't trade our mild winters for anything! I have Angie's Amish Harvest melting in the lofts upstairs and it's nice; exactly what I expect Amish Harvest to smell like. Downstairs in the kitchen I am melting Angie's Cozy Home and I am about to switch it out. Just don't care for it much for some reason.
  20. I have YC Beach Walk melting in the powder room, YC Sun & Sand in my son's room and Bella's Primitive Cupboards is still going strong downstairs. Trying to decide what to melt upstairs in the loft... The Sun and Sand surprised me. It's much stronger than I thought it would be and almost on the perfumy side, but not in an offensive way. I love the Beach Walk for the powder room. It's not too heavy and it really does remind you of being on the beach without the suntan lotion smell. Thanks, trep!
  21. Welcome, Shannon. I have family that lives in Portland and my in-laws live on the OR coast (tiny town called Port Orford). We lived in northern FL for 5 years (husband was stationed at Eglin, AFB) and we went to Disney World several times. Aside from Hawaii, it's still our favorite place to vacation. Hope everything works out for you in the romance department!
  22. Melting Bella's Primitive Cupboards. Wow! I love this! I hope Bella's has free shipping again soon. I'm ready to place another order. It's the first time I've wanted to re-order from anyone!
  23. Melting Angie's Amish Quilt today. Wonderful scent. Not too strong, but pretty good throw.
  24. Melting Cinnamon and Cloves from Scentsy. Anxiously awaiting my orders from Angie's & Bella's!
  25. Melting Celtic Moonspice from Pine Point. Love this! One little clamshell cube is scenting the entire dowstairs.
