  1. Dumped Harvest Spice and am now melting Grazia's Orange Chiffon Cake. I'm very pleased that it's light on the orange. Wonderful bakery scent!
  2. My husband turned on the melter in the kitchen before he left for work so by the time I went downstairs the whole kitchen smelled like harvest spice.
  3. I already got an e-mail saying my burner from NW has shipped! I just ordered it this morning. Glad to hear they'll have tarts soon. Debra, let me know how you like your votives; scent, throw, wax type. Melting Grazia's harvest spice downstairs and HOT sweet potatoe upstairs.
  4. Thanks, Debra99. I am also getting the burgundy. I'm hoping it's more of a brick red and will go with my primitive decor in the LR/DR. It's hard to tell on the computer screen exactly what it's going to look like, but for that price I can't pass it up!
  5. Debra99, what color of melter did you order from NW Candles? I saw the add, too, and the only reason I haven't ordered is because I'm still trying to decide what color to get! That's an unbelievable price and $3.99 shipping is almost unheard of!
  6. I'm still melting YC Vanilla Cupcake downstairs and Pink Sugar in my daughter's room, which quickly became a favorite of hers and mine. This particular tart is from Grazia and she especially likes the sparkles.
  7. Thanks, cyngreen2. I'm already feeling much better. I am melting YC Vanilla Cupcake downstairs, Vanilla on Steriods upstairs and Pink Sugar in my daughter's room. Have a good evening, everyone!
  8. Melting WnS Chewy Oatmeal Cookies. I hope those of you who've been ill or injured are starting to feel better! My back is much better since I went to the dr. on Monday and got a prescription for Flexural.
  9. Melting WNS Fresh Off the Line in the powder room. There's a bit of sweetness to it that keeps it from being too soapy smelling. Very nice and fresh. Angie's Olde Thyme Gatherings is in the kitchen/DR/LR and YC Lemon Lavender is in the MB.
  10. Angie's Amish Harvest for the evening. Love this one and since I cooked fish dinner I need something strong and nice smelling.
  11. Cheryl! I have never had anything from Gold Canyon, but Nene's Welcome Home smells mostly like apple and cinnamon to me. I received this tart in a swap, but when I looked it up on her website to find a scent description I couldn't find it so maybe she doesn't carry it anymore.
  12. Welcome, Dee and anyone else who is new that I've overlooked.:P Look forward to hearing everyone's input on scented wax.
  13. Heidi, my husband is the same way. He and the kids would stay home if I didn't go and pretend it didn't matter, but I would know he really wanted to go and then I'd feel guilty that he stayed home because of me. I sympathize with you. I hurt my back last week-end helping my husband move furniture. There's nothing worse than having to go to someone else's house (even if it is family) when you're not feeling well. All I want is to be on my own comfy couch with the heating pad enjoying my tarts! This morning is YC Good Morning. And to everyone who is not feeling well get lots of rest and feel better soon! :P
  14. I am trying out my new 14 watt electric burner I got at the YC store today. It melted the tart completely in about 20 min. I have YC Good Morning downstairs, Lemon Lavender in the MB and Black Cherry in my daughter's room. So far, so good. The lemon lavender is strong, but not in a bad way. I smell more lemon than lavender. Funny how I don't like lemon or lavender by itself, but they seem to work well together!
  15. I absolutely love Peppermint Noel and I think it could easily be a year round scent. It's fresh and minty and not too sweet. I went to HOT to order some, but they no longer have it. Hopefully they will bring it back for the holidays!
  16. I woke up this morning to the smell of pork chops still lingering in the air from last nights dinner. I needed something strong so I chose Peppermint Noel that I got in a swap. It isn't even completely melted yet and it's already wafting through the entire house, upstairs and down!
  17. I like Flirty February, too, although I hate the month of February. It's like a horrible transitional month; seems like winter should be over, but spring is still a ways off. Ummm, pot roast. I have pork chops in the oven right now and they're drowning out my Honey Butter Buns. I figured I'd better make a nice dinner because after tomorrow we may be eating soup and sandwichs for awhile!
  18. Primitive Cupboards petered out quickly this morning so I switched to Bella's Honey Buttered Buns. This could be a new favorite! Almost like amish harvest only not as spicy.
  19. Update on Nene's Sandlewood Vanilla: It isn't completely melted yet, but it is really nice. Kind of a soft, almost woodsy smell. More sandlewood than vanilla.
  20. Still melting Bella's Primitive Cupboards downstairs and I'm going to melt Nene's Vanilla Sandlewood upstairs. Then I have to get busy and continue going through Crosscreek's and Tuscadero's scent lists!
  21. Shore Club in the powder room for Boogie, Nene's Cinnamon Vanilla downstairs and Nene's Brown Sugar & Fig upstairs.
  22. Have Bella's Vanilla Baby melting in the master bath. The baby powder really adds a softness to the vanilla making it a lovely, soft scent.
  23. Melting my free Apples & Oak tart from Cobblestone. If it has a good throw then I will order more. It's a very fresh, outdoorsy type scent. Almost like Twigs N Berries, but with more apple. I really like it because it's not a "fake" apple scent. Hope you feel better soon, CookieJewel. And Heidi, I hope your little boy starts to feel better soon, too! It's hard when a little one is sick.
