  1. Cheryl! Smelly goods are my feel good indulgence, too.
  2. Still melting CH Coco Mint Frost downstairs and just put CH Autumn Sage upstairs. It's already starting to throw and it's not even half way melted.
  3. When my kids came home from school they were smelling all of my new melts from Candle Haven. They both just had to have Birthday Cake in their rooms. It sure smells yummy on that end of the house! This is a definite re-order.
  4. I am melting Candle Haven CocoMint Frost downstairs and it is wonderful! It's very similar to HoT Peppermint Noel I got in a tart trade. I loved it, but HoT doesn't carry it anymore (at least, not right now). I would normally only melt a scent like this during the holidays, but the description was so intriguing I just had to try it. Glad I did!
  5. Metling Tuscadero's Brown Sugar & Fig upstairs. It's throwing well enough that I don't need to sit on it to smell it.
  6. I second the lemon lavender. It's heavy on the lemon, with no Pledge undertone. I melted one in my MB and it lasted for days.
  7. Still melting CH Oatmeal Cookie downstairs and have YC Sun and Sand in the powder room. Haven't decided what to melt upstairs, but I need to dump the YC Black Raspberry that's in there. I'm practically sitting on top of it and can't smell it.
  8. I am melting Oatmeal Raisin Cookie from Candle Haven. Can't think of a better way to end the day!
  9. Still melting Cinna Bons from Tuscadero's downstairs and upstairs is YC Black Raspberry.
  10. I miss Snowtop, too. It was the very first on-line tart vendor I ordered from and, for a long time, the only one.
  11. Melting Angie's Amish Harvest downstairs. Haven't started anything else yet; I need coffee first! [smilie=th_oregonian_mornincoffee] cyn-enjoy your day off!
  12. Melting Bella's Primitive Cupboards downstairs and upstairs is Tuscadero's Sandalwood Vanilla. Tuscadero's Montauk Point in the powder room for Joey and Boogie and anyone else who needs a little blue today.
  13. debra-my battery pillars sound just like the ones fleur has. They are made out of real wax and have a black wick set inside. They glow and flicker from within. They are very pretty. Mine are supposed to be vanilla scented, but I could only detect a faint scent when I first got them, which is fine because I got them for ambiance, not fragrance.
  14. I also have several sets of battery operated pillar candles. I ordered them from QVC and one set has a timer (they stay on for 5 hours then shut off automatically) so I put them up high on our wall unit where I could never have real candles. They are beautiful and really do look like a real candle. I am still melting Cranberry Orange Spice in the kitchen. I will change it out soon. I am going to melt Tuscadero's Montauk Point for my blue.
  15. I am melting Cranberry Orange Spice for the evening (Candle Haven). Got an e-mail from Lessie and my Candle Haven is going out Tuesday! Great CS and TAT.
  16. Good Morning, everyone. I am melting Butterscotch Brownies from Tuscadero's. I melted this for a couple of hours last night and loved it! One tart scented the entire downstairs. It's still early here and I need to go get coffee!
  17. Oh, I love anything with honeydew in it! I just put Butterscotch Brownies in the kitchen burner so we can enjoy it for the evening. This was a freebie from Tuscadero's.
  18. Oh no, don't pour your wax down the drain! Either let it harder and put an ice cube on it for 5-10 minutes and pop it out or just carefully pour it in your garbage can (making sure there is garbage in there to absorb the wax) and then wipe out the excess with a paper towel. You could also pour your wax into an empty can (like a coffee can). We've been gone all day so I haven't switched out my burners yet. May wait until morning, but Baton Rogue is still going upstairs. The more I smell this, the more I like it.
  19. Melting Tuscadero's Carmel Macchiato downstairs. This one isn't as strong as I thought it would be. It's heavy on the carmel, light on the coffee. Upstairs is still Tuscadero's Baton Rouge. I really do like this scent and will re-order. Have a great day, everyone. :P
  20. I'm on a roll today. In addition to the homemade potatoe soup I just made a batch of Snickerdoodles. The family won't know what came over me! The house smells wonderful, though. Just added Bella's Sultry Angel to the MB. This was a freebie and it's wonderful. Very soft, perfect for a bedroom/bathroom.
  21. I just put together a large crock of potatoe soup and now I am melting Amish Harvest from Tuscadero's in an attempt to rid the house of the bacon, celery and onion I cooked for the soup. Amish Harvest has always been a favorite of mine and Tuscadero's does not disappoint! It's strong and has the perfect combination of spices. I also have Tuscadero's Baton Rouge upstairs. It's not completely melted yet, but so far I really like it. This would be a scent I'd want to have on hand all the time as I think it would be perfect anytime of the year.
  22. We were out for most of the evening. I left my one burner on in the kitchen and when we got home we were greeted with the addicting aroma of Tuscadero's Zuchhini Bread. I put this in aroud 1 pm and it's still going strong at 7:30! I usually use 3 tarts in 3 different burners downstairs, but this one little clamshell cube in the kitchen is throwing like crazy. Tuscadero's just made my top 3 with this one scent alone. Can't wait to try the rest!
  23. Grandma Rita's Zuchhini Bread from Tuscadero's. This is a new favorite. Smells like I have a loaf of bread baking in the oven, with just a hint of spice. One little clamshell cube is scenting the entire downstairs.
