  1. Melting banana carmel drizzle from crooscreek this morning.
  2. Good Morning, all--It's YC's Juicy Peach this morning--it's giving off a very nice strong aroma and filling the house upstairs and down. Enjoy the day.
  3. Cyn, how do you like Can-Do's What's Cookin? Is it a bakery only smell or do you detect any meat and potatoes ? :(
  4. For tonight it is YC's Vanilla Cupcake--I just love this one. Everyone have a great evening.
  5. I have had YC's Midnight Jasmine going for a while now and it is strong. I'm not real big into florals, but this could help change my mind. Really smells Springy and I'm sure I smell honeysuckle in it. I am looking forward to trying some different brands of tarts, but have to use up my YC stuff first.
  6. Hi everyone--I've been lazy for a couple of days and haven't posted. This morning I have PI's Peach on. Very nice--wish it was stronger but she listed it as moderate and that's what it is. A very nice peach scent.
  7. Crosscreek's Scones and Cinnamon Butter~ the perfect tart for a Sunday morning. Wish I had the real thing to go with them (or some cinnamon rolls!).
  8. I love Paloma Picasso but can only wear it a couple of months out of the year here in NC. If the weather is warm, I avoid scents that may attract those pest mosquitos , bees, and wasps. I also love Magie Noire and Opium. Have several body sprays by B&BW and use them when I want a light scent.
  9. Hi Jason! That's my husband's name, too. My brother also loves burning candles (although he's not gay ). It's nice to see a man around the boards.
  10. I live in Rocky Mount (as of a month and a half ago). I just moved here from the Roanoke Rapids area. I grew up in Greensboro, though.
  11. Hi Boogie! I live in downtown Oklahoma City. Thanks for the warm reception! Where do you live?
  12. Hi Jason, I am so happy to read that there is a cool guy on this forum ! My best guy friend is gay, and we have had so much fun together over the years. I'd rather hang with him than my girl friends. Where do you live ?
  13. Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies. Hope no one feels I am crashing a ladies only party! I genuinely love candles and I'm gay, so no need to think I have ulterior motives, lol.
  14. This is great news, Mom. I think you will be happier having more scents to sample , plus you won't have to deal with finiky candles. Received my Bella's order this afternoon and immediately started melting Lavender and Coconut Milk. I LOVE IT !
  15. Hi Jason and welcome. Glad to have you join us. I am a Yankee fan also at least of their tarts so will really enjoy hearing your take on different fragrances. Again, welcome.
  16. Well, I've been on the forum for a bit now and decided I should introduce myself. I am the resident male on the forum. Looking through the posts, I don't think I've seen any other guys. My name is Jason and I'm 31 years old. My scent obsession started at a very young age with those Scratch N' Sniff stickers that teachers used to give us kids in school. My grandmother is also a long time candle lover and I always loved to smell what she had going when I would visit her. I spend too much on candles and I'm also very loyal to Yankee. I am very curious about branching out and I do read many of the reviews on this site and avidly read about what you all are burning. Hopefully, this year, I'll try some new stuff! Any who, glad I found this site and it's comforting to know I'm not alone in my my scent fanaticism.
  17. I put on the new YC Egyptian Cotton in my electric warmer last night before bed so I could enjoy it while I watched TV. This morning when I woke up, it was still going strong. Very fresh scent! My partner even commented on how good it smelled and he never seems to notice anything.
  18. HI Heidi and welcome. I am the one sending you the rose tarts. I am heading to the post office as soon as I get this posted. I'm glad to have you with us and look forward to your opinions, etc. Nancy
  19. I guess it's midday now so will say I am glad to have the forum back up and going. I missed it this morning. I have YC Juicy Orange on today and am loving it. I have tried it several times before and didn't like it but I do today. Haven't decided yet what this evening's scent will be. Later.
  20. Heidi, where in NC do you live ? I am in the Charlotte area. Pam
  21. My first post on the new forum..let's see if I can use all of the new features. ROFL This one should come in handy ! Today I melted Rosegirls' Hillbilly Homebrew/Cider and Sticks. It has a nice throw.
  22. I was burning green grape from momma's soy tart mart this morning, and it is incredible. I'm burning clean linen tonight (can't remember the brand) and it is so nice and strong.
