First Impression of Praline Spice:

The moment I walk into my local Walmart, I always make a beeline straight to the candle and melt section to see if there is anything new to be had. My last trip proved productive… I found two new bakery scents I haven’t tried before. One from ScentSationals and another from Better Homes and Gardens I couldn’t wait to purchase and start melting.

First up…. Praline Spice from ScentSationals. Mmm! The picture on the label shows macaroon cookies but the actual wax smelled spicy and warm… like a warm cinnamon bread.

Melting:

The description on the label reads, “Cinnamon Bark & Vanilla Cream.”

Sounds pretty accurate to me only I would probably add bread or cake to the mix. I did smell something warm and yummy when smelling the wax and it was loaded with cinnamon.

Okay, time to get melting!

I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took about ten minutes before the aromaPraline spice was traveling throughout my home and boy was it yummy! My entire great-room smelled like a strong cinnamon cake, heavy on the spice. It was very warm and cozy and a perfect spicy bakery scent if you love those types of fragrances.  Warning… if heavy cinnamon fragrances are not your thing, you may not like this one and I suggest you smell it first before purchasing to see for yourself. It really was pretty spicy. My entire house smelled like a spicy cinnamon cake.

Strength – I would rate this scent a 10 in any size room. It was pretty strong. Loved it and will be purchasing a few more before the season ends!!

Happy melting!
