What did my candle smell like?
Febreze is such an accessible brand and available in just about every drug and grocery store so I’m pretty determined to review as many fragrances as I can. I purchased this candle at Walmart and I think I paid 3 dollars for it which is great
for an almost 6oz candle.
I’m normally not a fan of floral scents but I do like Sweet Pea and this candle smelled pretty good – and surprisingly, it was comparable to other brands I’ve tried… even big ones like Gold Canyon. Febreze version was soft and delicate and cold sniff was very promising. The wax smelled like a classic Sweet Pea fragrance but with some added tartness. Hard to describe but I liked it a lot. The candle itself was very simple in design with no labeling on the candle… instead, they wrap a cardboard label around the candle with all their info on that. I really like that since once you remove it, your candle is free of any labeling and much prettier burning. Here is the scent description for Sweet Pea Petals:
“A soft, summery breeze carries a flutter of elegant white and pink petals and a burst of delicate sweetness to lift your spirits.”
I don’t know what “white and pink petals” is supposed to be but I will say, this was a really lovely floral. It was very sweet and fresh, not heavy at all. I really liked it. I was also pleasantly surprised with the strength of this candle… I started burning it in a small bathroom and ended up moving it into a slightly bigger room where it performed perfect.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7. Very nice!! The scent… a perfect and strong fresh Sweet Pea. Very well done!!
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned great. Zero issues. Clean burning with no wasted wax or soot.
Closing to my review:
Well, I am pretty impressed with this fragrance and plan on purchasing more. If you love Sweet Pea scents, this is a must try. There was nothing fake or synthetic about it which I think is awesome for an inexpensive and mass produced candle.

Definitely give this a try if you love light floral scents. It was a light floral, sweet and very lovely. This brand can be purchased pretty much anywhere. Even online.

I was surprised by this candle too. It was strong for a Glade brand. Can’t find it anymore though.
I love this scent. I’ve searched for it but can’t find it anymore. I hope it comes back. It is strong.
I dont think the febreze candles are strong enough. No matter where I place it in my home, the only time I can smell it, is if I walk right past it. Was very disappointed 🙁
what a pleasant surprise! i purchased some sort of apple scented candle by either febreeze or glade but now that i think about it, i’m pretty certain it was glade — and i was very disappointed. tunneled and very lightly scented.
