Ginger Spice Biscotti Febreze scented candle review

Fragrance: Ginger Spice Biscotti
Scent Strength: Light
What did my candle smell like?
I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for more of Febreze Home Collection candles because so far, I’ve really been enjoying them. I tried the Almond Vanilla and loved it so what a lovely surprise when I spied Ginger Spice Biscotti. First sniff….. a delicious and spicy bakery. Not sure about the “biscotti” part though – to me, the wax smelled like spice cake. Warm and yummy!!
I couldn’t find a scent description for this fragrance but that’s okay… the wax pretty much told me everything I needed to know. Spicy and warm cake… the kind you want to eat with a tall glass of milk. Mmmmm!!
I lit this candle in a small room to start out and ended up leaving it there from start to finish. This candle didn’t burn correctly from day one so it tunneled quite a bit and never reached full melt pools with each lighting. Which meant… not a very good scent throw because of it. Total bummer!!
What I could smell… a nice and warm spice cake.
How did my candle burn?
This candle did not burn well at all. Both wicks fizzled out and had a hard time staying lit so the candle tunneled pretty badly.
Closing to my review:
This review started with such promise and ended in disappointment. I was pretty bummed. The scent seemed nice and warm and I know I would have enjoyed it had it burned correctly.
Should I see this fragrance again, I’ll repurchase to see how it goes. Will report back if I do.
Happy candle hunting!
