What Did My Candle Smell Like?
Lemon! My absolute favorite EVER!! As soon as I saw Lemon Blueberry Cupcake, I purchased two sight unseen. I literally couldn’t resist. The moment I smelled the wax… heaven!! It smelled like the sweetest lemon with a touch of blueberry. I wasn’t detecting warm bakery notes but I was okay with that… as long as I smelled sweet lemon… I was happy.

Wild blueberries, red raspberries, peach and strawberry fuse together with fresh coconut, condensed milk, orange zest and sweet cream for a bright and buttery berry confection!
Oh my goodness!!
A fresh from the oven blend of zesty lemon and fresh blueberries combined with whipped cream and warm vanilla for a scent that is decadent and delectable.
That description sounds amazing and if I smell all of the above, I’ll be one happy camper. To me though, this scent was all sugary lemon. I wasn’t detecting any bakery cake notes. But, you never know… once the candle is lit, the aroma could change.
Time to find out how it burns!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom and would say it took a good 20 minutes to reach a full melt pool and the aroma? Mmm!! Just as I smelled it cold… a sweet and luscious lemon with hints of sweet blueberries! It smelled very fresh and sweet but I still wasn’t detecting any bakery notes. To me, this scent was all lemon and blueberries with hints of whipped cream.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle an 8 in a large room. 10 or above in a medium to smaller rooms. In a large room, it wasn’t super strong but gave a nice and steady medium throw.
How Did My Candle Burn?
My candle pretty good. The wicks lit right up and the candle burned evenly from start to finish. I did have to trim both wicks before each lighting or the flames really big so just another reminder to always keep an eye on your burning candles.
Closing To My Review:
Lemon Blueberry Cupcake was an adorable candle and a fun and summery fragrance that I very much enjoyed. Lemon is my favorite scent on the planet though so it’s no wonder I liked it. I would have loved it even more though had I detected some warm bakery cake notes but unfortunately, there were none. This scent was all sugary lemon and blueberries. Still fun but not what I was hoping for. My children however loved it. Every time my 13 year old came up the stairs, he said the house smelled like blueberries and lemon. He has a good nose!!
