What did my candle smell like?
I’ve been finding quite a few Febreze candles lately that I’ve really been enjoying. You can find this brand pretty much everywhere – grocery stores, drug stores, Walmart, Targets etc – and they’re fairly inexpensive.
The wax (cold sniff) smelled pretty faint but I had a feeling the scent would come alive once it was burning. I was also happy to find a scent description for it on Walmart’s website, here it is:
Take home a slice of summer with this invigorating cocktail of fresh-squeezed citrus and nose-tickling fizz that’s a little tart, a little sweet, and a lot fresh.
That sounds refreshing… time to see if the scent produces everything the description boasts.
I lit my candle in a small bathroom to start out and within minutes, seriously minutes… the scent engulfed the room. I was very impressed. The scent… an effervescent citrus scent that was both sweet and fresh. I LOVED IT!!!!!! The description is totally accurate, even down to the fizz. Every time I walked by the room, I was blown away by the strength and how fresh and sweet it smelled. I almost want to say I smelled sweet melon in the mix.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 10. I kept it in my bathroom but could easily have moved it to a larger room.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned pretty good. It did have a slow start and took a good hour or more to reach a full melt pool but once it did, perfect. No wasted wax or soot.
Closing to my review:
Loved it!! Loved it so much, I’m purchasing a few more next time I see them again. If you love fruity and fresh scents… this is a must try. You can’t beat the price either. 3 bucks for an almost 6oz candle is pretty good.
I have to say, I’ve been pretty impressed with Febreze candles so far. For a mass produced and inexpensive brand, the quality is pretty decent and 
the fragrances aren’t bad either. I can’t wait to try more.

This was a great candle and I rated it high because it met all our criteria we watch for. Presentation was decent, it was beyond authentic as well as strong and the burn performance was great too.

I need to go get me this one. Thanks for the review on this one Christina. Now that I know the candle is strong I will be making my purchase. I buy a lot of the room sprays and the plug in’s but have not bought the candles. Gain laundry, linen and sky, and Gain island fresh are my favorites from Febreeze.
