  3. Amy, glad you got some good sleep and will be headed home soon. I have boneless ribs in the crockpot so am enjoying that smell along with Vintage Christmas from Southbound. Thank you, sweet CF friend; this scent takes me back to my childhood memories of Christmas, specifically Christmas Eve at my grandparents.

  5. Aria, I've been debating ordering a brick of Blue Christmas....sounds like a good one. Thanks for your take on it. My parents fly in this evening. DS offered to pick them up from the airport so that gives me time for a nice, hot shower and a little time to relax. Michele, I don't think I've ever had that happen to me, but I'd say it's a very strong possibility that was the cause of your sleepless night. I had a sleepless night recently due some cold/allergy medicine I took.   13. I've been busy working on the guest bedroom and bathroom in preparation for my parents visit next week! I put a little Christmas tree on the desk and stocked the bathroom with seasonal soaps and lotions from Bath & Body Works. Melting Emerald Fir from Colonial Candle. Smells like we have a real tree in here. :D
  14. Nope, but I used to get a new set every year in my stocking as a child. :wub: The person below me still gets a stocking every year at Christmas.

  17. Amy, I love all of the Snoopy holiday movies, but the Christmas one is my absolute favorite. :wub: Melting Cranberry Spice from Scentsy. This is old and discontinued, but it's still one of my favorite cranberry scents.

  19. Honeybear, that would be a very stressful situation. :( Our family, on both sides, has dealt with alcoholism. It's so hard on everyone. Tuesday is right around the corner. Michele, I agree; the tree and all of the decorations are very calming.   21. Amy, I love the story about your father's shopping experience. No shopping for me today. I spent the day decorating. The house is done, but the tree isn't quite finished yet. I ran out of steam. I'll finish up tomorrow. Debra, I've been curious about those Triscuits. They're my very favorite cracker, but I always just buy the original.   25. Amy, I'm glad you were able to get in and out of the stores quickly. I have to go to Costco for rolls and crossaints today.... :wacko: Some things just can't be bought ahead of time. Michele, I hope you feel better for tomorrow. I haven't felt well the past couple of days.
