Tealight candles are a fun way to get an idea of a scent from a company, plus they can add a beautiful sense of ambiance to a room. Midheaven Candles is a soy candle company that makes these bundles of scented joy in packages of six. I recently bought a new tealight holder, so this was the perfect time to try out my Coconut Lime tealights. I was already tickled pink with White Birch, a tree-scented candle from Midheaven, so I was pretty sure I would be in for a treat with these tealights.

Packaging/Presentation
The tealights from Midheaven Candles came packaged in a small kraft cardboard box with a plastic 
lid. The lid had the company name/logo prominently displayed, and I was able to get the scent name from the bottom of the box. The tealights were packaged neatly and were HUGE! I was really impressed with the large size of them, which explained the stated 7 hour burn time. The wax was white and these tealights had fairly long, lead-free wicks. I thought this was a neat, clean way to package up tealights.
Authenticity
The cold sniff of these mini candles was refreshing and summery. That familiar smell of coconut lime was easily detectable – a sweet, creamy coconut and a bit of zesty lime which tickled the nose. Nice!

I would definitely say the cold sniff was spot on. Once the tealights were burning, they gave off this fresh, sweet scent that was truly refreshing. The scent was slightly sweet without being syrupy, and the zestiness of the lime wove in and out throughout the burn. Yum!
Scent Strength & Scent Throw
I lit all six of these tealight candles and set them out on a table near to where I was working. I was able to smell the aroma of the candles as they were fairly close to me. Tealight candles are fairly small, so I never have the expectation for the scent to fill the room. I thought the scent coming from these tealights was pretty good given the size – just enough for me to know they were burning and pleasant enough for me to get a good feel for the scent.
Burn Performance
These Coconut Lime tealights have a reported burn time of 7 hours. I’m used to tealight candles having a 4-5 hour burn time, so I was a bit skeptical at the 7. Once I saw these tealights, I could certainly see how they would have a longer burn time…they were a larger size than most of the tealights I purchase. I did time these when I lit them, and I can vouch for the very long burn time. I clocked them at 5 hours still going strong, with lots of wax still available in the cups. The candles self-extinguished around the 7 1/2 hour mark, with the candles going out at pretty much the same time. Remarkable!
The burn on these candles was very clean. No black sooting at all. Just a nice, clean burn that was gorgeous to watch.
Conclusion
I was impressed with these Coconut Lime tealights from Midheaven Candle Company. They were super long lasting, provided a gentle fragrance, and the burn from there was flawless. I could see these being perfect for a romantic evening, or for use at an event. It looks like you can submit a request for a bulk discount purchase – good to know if you’re wanting to purchase several for something like a wedding. I don’t purchase tealights often, but I could see this being one of my go-to places for scented tealights when needed.
