What did my candle smell like?
Aromatique candles have never failed to impress me with their authenticity and strength and Smell of the Tree did not disappoint. This candle looks and smelled amazing! The wax was a dark Christmas tree green… the vessel was cylinder with a wooden ribbed design etched into the 
glass. A festive olive green and gold ribbon was wrapped around the center of the vessel with an Aromatique round emblem adhered to the ribbon. The overall appearance was rustic and very well done. See picture to the left for visual reference.
The scent…. Wonderful!! Once lit, it didn’t take long to start noticing the fragrance and to my nose, it smelled pretty authentic. I couldn’t find a scent description for this fragrance on their website but one really wasn’t needed. When I first put my nose up to the candle, it smelled exactly like a freshly cut Christmas tree. The real test though is having my pine expert smell it…. This is my hubby’s favorite scent and he always tells me if it’s authentic or fake. His thoughts…. he loved it! He said it smelled exactly like a Douglas Fir and as it was burning, he commented on it often letting me know he wanted me to purchase a few more before Christmas ended. For him to actually ask me to buy a candle says it all. He loved it!
Strength – On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6 in a large room. A 7 to 8 in a medium size room. It gave a nice and steady medium scent throw.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned perfect. No issues. Clean and even burn.
Closing to my review:
I loved this candle and plan on picking up a few more before Christmas ends. If you’re after a true and authentic Christmas tree scent… this is your candle.
I love Aromatique candles and am so glad I was able to review this fragrance in time for the holidays. It will definitely be one of my “go to” scents throughout Christmas every year. And as a FYI… this brand can be purchased through their website or at many high end department stores such as Dillard’s and Macy’s as well. I was just at both the other day and saw nice displays where I was able to smell all the scents in person. A rarity these days for sure.

I purchase this candle every year during the holidays. It’s a staple in my house. Highly recommend, especially if you use a fake tree like me.
This fragrance is so realistic you can’t even tell its a candle.
