Intro To My Candle Review
Ah, yes…the season is upon us to be thinking about scented candles for Christmas. If you haven’t done so already, no worries. Candlefind will have you covered. We’ll be talking about all sorts of candles that would make great Christmas gifts this season. That includes none other than all natural candles from Santa’s Naturals. Yes…the man himself! These fun scented Christmas candles are the perfect segue into the frosty season.
First Impressions of My Candle
Cute, cute, cute. My Winter Berry candle was so festive and fun. First, it was packaged in a cute gift box that just screamed Merry Christmas! Inside my box was an equally decorative candle tin, all decked out for the holidays. There was a cute winter scene on the tin and Santa’s face looking right back at me on the lid. It just put me right in the holiday mood. The candle was 9oz in size and had a single, well-placed wick. The wax was off white in color.
I took off the lid and immediately had visions of sugarplums dancing in my head. This candle smelled of fresh pine needles and spices. It was very earthy and strong on cold sniff. I headed to the website to check out the scent description:

I would mostly agree with that. I wasn’t getting the orange or berry notes on cold sniff, but I knew it might change with lighting. Since this was a smaller sized candle, I opted to burn it in a guest bathroom. The wick was fairly thick and I made sure to trim it down to the recommended 1/4″ before lighting.
I left the candle for about 30 minutes and was soon greeted with a warm, cozy, earthy smell. Once this candle had burned for a while, I could start to smell the bold orange-y notes. I smelled that mostly at the end whiff and it kind of weaved in and out. The main players were the earthy tree notes and the spices. Very warm and cozy scent! I could see this being great to burn during a Christmas gathering, while everyone is circled around the fire. The scent was fairly strong and filled the bathroom without difficulty. I could smell the scent wafting on down the hallways if I left the door open.
How Did My Candle Perform?
I had a mostly full wax melt pool with this candle. I did have a little bit of wax around the rim throughout the burn. I did wonder if I had cut my wick a little too short on the first burn.
Otherwise, the candle burn was really good. I had a nice, strong flame throughout. No black sooting. I did need to keep the wick trimmed on the regular or the flame would get a little too robust. The candle burned a pretty long time for its size, which was a double bonus.
Closing To My Candle Review
I was pretty pleased with this scented Christmas candle from Santa’s Naturals. I loved the season appropriate box it came in and the tin was super cute. The candle itself was festive, fun, and had a great scent throw. What more can you ask? This would make a great gift for those office holiday gift-swapping parties or just to enjoy yourself.
