Introduction to my review:
Have you tried Bath & Body Works “Summer Sips” candles yet? If you love fresh and fruity fragrances, you must! These candles are all created after refreshing summer drinks and so far, I’ve loved every one I’ve tried! My first review was on Mango Coconut Cooler which I absolutely loved!
Next up… Pink Apple Punch. This scent smelled like sweet apples drenched in honeydew and lemonade! Mouth watering YUM!!!!!!
What did my Pink Apple Punch candle look like?
This candle was their standard 14.5oz large 3 wick candle. The wax color was a bright pink. The label on the front of the candle shows a white glass with a pink apple and a slice of melon at the bottom of the glass with a straw peeking out. The scent name, “Pink Apple Punch” in a fun and modern font was embossed in black at the top of the glass. Very retro and well done. On the label towards the bottom says:
“Pink lady apples, honeydew melon sliced – a reason to celebrate”
There is also an dark and light pink striped label that covers the entire chrome lid… in the center is a sliced apple with a banner that reads “Summer Sips” across the center. See picture for a better visual reference.
What did my Pink Apple Punch candle smell like?
If you love lemonade type scents… you will love this candle! First sniff… the wax smelled like sweet apples and lemonade. Tart and refreshing!
Here is the scent description for this fragrance:
“Pretty and pink, this irresistible blend of crisp Pink Lady Apples and citrus leaves packs a fabulous fragrant punch”
Not sure why honeydew isn’t mentioned in the scent description since it’s mentioned and pictured on the front label on the candle. Weird. I can totally smell melon in this scent. To me, the wax smelled more like a honeydew lemonade than it did apples. I loved it.
I lit this candle in my standard review room (master bedroom) and boy… what a fun scent this turned out to be! The bright pink wax looks so pretty burning for one and the scent… a bright and tangy aroma that reminded me of a fruit punch jolly rancher candy. It was sweet, tart and mouthwatering. If apple was in the mix… I wasn’t detecting it.
The strength was perfect… a nice and steady medium throw. I could smell the fragrance all throughout my bedroom and adjoining bathroom.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned perfect. No wick issues, no wasted wax… clean and even burn. A+ on burn performance.
Closing to my review:
I LOVED this fragrance. I think probably neck and neck with Mango Coconut Cooler which I beyond loved. Pink Apple Punch was totally different though… it was bright, tangy, sweet and refreshing. It reminded me of yummy and tangy lemonade with swirls of sweet honeydew blended in. The bright pink wax was so summery and fun to watch burn.
Highly recommend this fragrance if you love sweet pink lemonade scents. This is a really good one.
