We’ve been loving on Pelican Scents since we were introduced to them by one of our candle-loving friends. The customer service is top notch, the prices reasonable, and the wax smells oh-so-good! Since I love fruity scented candles, the Pelican Scents Blueberry wax melt was one of my favorites!

Packaging/Presentation
The Pelican Scents Blueberry wax melt that I tried was in a scent shot form. The wax cup was full (love!) and the lid fit well on the top of the cup. The company name and scent name were easily readable on the label that was affixed to the lid.
The wax itself was a pretty blue color, perfect for the fragrance! The wax was rather soft and fairly easy to remove from the cup.
Authenticity
When I did a cold sniff of the Pelican Scents blueberry wax melt, I fell in love immediately. The scent of juicy blueberries was so strong and authentic. It smelled delicious!
A sweet, juicy blueberry scent.
Once I started melting this one, I was overtaken by a wonderful, fresh blueberry smell. Some blueberry scents can be too sweet or candy-like. Not so with this one – it was like a true, fruity blueberry scent and it was fabulous!
Scent Strength & Scent Throw
I used this wax melt in a large, open space with a 24W hotplate melter. I know blueberry scents can sometimes be too overpowering, so I was preparing for the blast. True to form, this wax melt was super strong and threw amazingly well, all throughout the lower level of my home.
Melt Performance
I used the entire Pelican Scents blueberry wax melt in my melter and enjoyed the fragrance all throughout the day. I did ended up keeping the melter on all day. I did switch it off overnight and fired it back up the next day, greeted again with the wonderful blueberry smell. I did end up getting a lot of mileage out of this one wax shot. I probably could have cut this one in half and got even more use out of the one cup.
Conclusion
Pelican Scents has become one of our very favorite places to shop. You get to shop for the basics and there are plenty of options to choose from. The Pelican Scents blueberry wax melt was super fragrant, authentic, and long lasting. That makes these melts a great value and we will definitely be back for more!
