Aria, thanks for responding. It's a 10 oz. single wick. I wasn't expecting a ton of scent but I could barely smell anything and practically burned my nose. :o Ah well, it's quite pretty and is behaving perfectly so that's good. It'll be interesting to see what my other McCall's candles do. There's a 1,000 acre brush fire blocking holiday traffic, although things look better this morning. My sisters and I have slumber party plans this weekend, so I hope she can make it through. If not, oh well, we'll do it another time. What's everyone doing this weekend? An hour and a half ago, I lit my very first McCall's candle, Spooner Farms. The scent description says raspberry, other fruits, and citrus. I smell nothing at all. Grief Stricken Gail (am I just a wee bit melodramatic? )

Sweet, it should begin to cool here sometime in September, but it's usually mid-October before we get a hint of fall. My girlies were up at that early hour because they were excited about my arrival. It doesn't seem like fall around here. Today's high is 104 and on my courtyard right now it's 128 degrees - too hot even for me, the heat freak. I was taking care of my 3 DGD's starting about 4AM this morning. I thought they'd be fast asleep when I arrived at their house, but everyone was up and ready for fun. We had a lovely picnic breakfast outside on the front lawn as we watched the sun come up over the hill, then we grabbed the dog and went for a neighborhood walk. Ah, the simple pleasures are surely the best! Anyway, down to wax business. I'm melting FP Red Berry Blast. It's just getting started but it beginning to smell delicious! Gail
