So we used to be able to melt at school but can't this year due to kids allergies. I find I can't wait to get home and get my smells going. I need the smell at work too so I used room spray. Kids stink after recess! What arE the companies now that have to wait for a restock? And do y'all usually let each other know in here?

Hey all, Melting Perfect Evening from 1803, burning Cabin on the Hill from 1803. Love this one...a little Christmas-y but still love. Burning cinnamon vanilla from BBW in kitchen. My zeep order arrived and I've officially put myself on a buy restriction. Y'all speak of OCD and I have it with these scents. I found a small notebook in our school supply bin and started listing what I've purchased, and then melted. My boys have definite opinions about the melts and let me know when something insults their noses. I loved Frosty from ST but had to move it to my room, because they did not like. My 8 and 13 year old sons like to unpack the boxes with me and smell everything. I appreciate all of your input and sharing. Y'all seem like a tight group and I appreciate your patience with an annoying newbie.

Since y'all are all expert melters.... this is just a minor annoyance but do y'all lose patience waiting for wax to melt Down when you turn burner on with intention of changing scents? For a while I'd dump before turning off for night but I'm frugal and it always seems to hold scent and I think "one more day of scent". Then I want a new flavor to shake things up and it seems to take forever? Especially Gold Canyon melters which I love for their timers.

1803 has great scents! Received my Supertarts today---do I need to let them sit?

I need to stop spending, I have a 1803 order that just arrived, a super tarts order on the way, and a spotted hog order in the works. I kind of feel like it's time to stock up, as I am Leary of ordering wax during the warmer months here in Texas. Off to look at zeep. A friend stopped by to bring us brownies and said she loved that I always have candles lit. So it's encouraging, and means I have to buy more

Hello, I have posted in the past and "found" y'all again. I am captivated and need some help with the abbreviations....is there a place to find the candle companies abbreviations so I can go buy some of the awesome scents y'all are describing? ST? Or can y'all just list some current favorite companies for me to try? I lost my 40 year old husband and have been in survival mode, but this year I resolve to make my home a haven for me and my three BOYS so smell is important to me. Thanks for the time.

Biolaeagles...tell yourself he will take two weeks to adjust and then you won't get discouraged...kids adapt quickly. Good morning! It's a chilly 38 here in Texas and my sons are still wearing shorts to school. A battle I don't wish to fight. Burned YC buttercream last night and smelled nothing?!? Was a christmas gift and thinking they aren't made like they used to be. Also burned an old GCanyon Cobbler on the Porch and only smelled it when I walked past. Put in orders at front porch, haleys, k's, spotted hog and victoria. Will report back.... Happy Friday!

Biolaeagles, we had to put our DS2 in speech preschool at 2.5 years old, and I was so sad to have him gone, but after a few weeks he started talking SO much, and they eventually kicked him out cuz he talked so much the other kids wouldn't! Hello I've been gone from this site almost two years because I went back to work and am just now rebalancing life! I see references to SGA...Im assuming this is sassy girl,yet when I googled her, there is nothing on her site except body and an easter surprise bag. Am I doing something wrong? Also, wanting to place an order for my classroom burner, as I teach 5th grade and they get smelly after recess. ;). Any deals or great vendors yall can recommend? Tired of Scentsy. Also must have great throw. During my hiatus, I got lazy and only bought scentsy from a lady at work or seasonal BBW candles. I have missed coming on here to hear about great vendors and scent.
