Happy Saturday! Just started melting YC's Tutti Fruiti for the first time....so far I like it, and I'm surprised. For some reason I didn't think I would.

Long time no post! I finally had some time to check in today - it's been ages. Just started melting Pretty Petals from Crosscreek downstairs and am about to get Lilac & Cotton going upstairs - also Crosscreek.

Currently melting YC's Blue Hydrangea downstairs and Crosscreek's Fresh Laundry upstairs..... Trying to absorb the spring morning we're having in anticipation of the winter evening storm that's on its way.

Hi, everyone - For the first time in a LONG time I have a break in the busy schedule this week. It's spring break here so no running kids around everywhere, and I got subs for a couple of my Weight Watchers meetings so I could spend a little time at home. I ran out of transcription work this morning (my regular gig) so I was able to start cleaning a little early today. It's only 9 am here and I got the whole kitchen scrubbed and mopped - finally found ground zero! Whew. the rest of the week will pretty much be spent at church for the rest of the various Holy Week services and events, but that's an enjoyable busy so I don't mind Sorry to go on.... I don't usually have this much extra time to do that so I guess I'm taking advantage of it! lol Just started melting Crosscreek's Bamboo Sugar Cane....expecting an order from Deana today too! I have been burning YC's Beautiful Day all day for the first time - I'm not getting much at all and it's a large 2-wick tumbler which does well for me normally (way better than the traditional jars anyway). Has anyone tried this scent in a candle? The tart seems to be pretty strong - I have melted it at least twice and both times it was wonderful. This is too much wax to not enjoy so I may be returning this one. Upstairs I"m melting Carol's Lavender Apple - a favorite of mine. She really packed this bag full too so I won't be running low anytime soon!

Cynthia - is that tangerine lavender you had going from Pure Integrity? I don't recognize that scent from them. Or maybe the PI stands for another vendor I'm not familiar with? Nothing going yet - I'm working and will probably just get a tealight going on my desk for now.

Switched out the Green Clover Aloe/Cool Citrus Basil mystery scent to YC's Midnight Jasmine and OH MY am I pleased with this scent! I got it on the $1 sale - hadn't tried it in the past, but I"m loving it enough to make the drive all the way out to the store again tomorrow morning before the sale ends to pick up some more......Very nice!

Hi, everyone - I have been melting Green Clover/Aloe from Cheryl's all day....smells good but I'm almost convinced there was a scent mix-up since it smells identical to cool citrus basil, which I order from just about every vendor so I'm pretty familiar with it. Though I haven't ordered the clover/aloe in a long time so maybe they are just that similar. Either way, I like it :)

Actually, still the BEST Zuccini Bread for me to date is from Tuscadero's - Gramma Rita's Zuccini Bread - I think?

Tonight I"m melting YC's Lilac Blossoms - I don't remember when the last time was that I melted this one from YC, but I guess I had forgotten how authentic it is - absolutely like standing near a lilac bush! Busy weekend winding down, though I still have quite a bit to do around here to get ready for the week. Trep - I'm glad you arrived safely!

I don't know why I bother looking forward to 'weekends' - they are busier around here than the work week. So, off to pick up kids and gear up for that. Earlier I was melting YC's Fruit Salad - it was good for awhile but seemed to get that burnt wax smell after a bit, so I switched it out for a Cheryl's sample I had forgotten about - Hazlenut Cappuccino. Also burning Vanilla Sandalwood candle - also from Cheryl.

Melting Beautiful Day from YC on this 'beautiful day' in the desert. Still a little chilly (well, for us) but the skies have cleared up and there is a hint of our usual spring weather. I intended to go to the YC store today and pick up a jar of this scent, and use my $1 tart coupon, but I ended up with a sickie home from school. Hopefully tomorrow.....

Happy Monday! Doesn't look much like Arizona here - more like Seattle. So, I'm melting YC's Stormwatch (one of my all-time favorites, glad it's back and glad it's in tart form too!!)

Happy Valentine's Day! In honor of the occasion I am melting Cupid's Kiss from Crosscreek, and Falling In Love - also from Crosscreek. Cupid (and Deana) must be working some magic in this household because for the first time EVER, my husband asked me if I was melting one of my 'smelly tarts' and actually commented that he liked it!

Today I have been burning Candy Hearts (swirl jar from YC) and melting Love Spell from Crosscreek. Just opened the door to a dozen roses (sent from DH) which is really rounding out my scented kick-off to Valentine's Day weekend!

Good morning! Sitting here enjoying Can-Do's Prim Wishes, a cup of Good Earth tea and Bible reading for the day (prepping for a study I lead tonight). Very relaxing. Too bad it ends in an hour when I have to get back to the grind....Off to the noon WW meeting, then the school pickups, quick dinner and then the evening runaround to everyone's activities. Have a great Wednesday, wax lovers!! P.S. - I'm expecting a new melter in the mail today and I won't even be able to play with it until Friday probably - bummer.

Melting Crosscreek's Fireside (Elton John's) and burning YC's Be Thankful. I didn't think I'd light this one up again until November, but the scents are actually kind of similar so it's working well......

Do any of you live near a Hobby Lobby? They carry the warmer & tarts also. That's where I found the tarts - they were out of the warmers though....this was right before Christmas. The brand is 'ScentSational' - I think? It says on the clamshell package "Not a Scentsy Product." And they aren't bad - $3.99/pack but I got them on sale that day - all wax products were half off. Burning Vanilla Sandalwood from Cheryl for work this morning.

Melting Warm Winter Pleasures from Crosscreek, Home and Hearth from Tuscadero's and burning the new YC Candy Hearts swirl jar I got on my little trek to the YC store earlier today. I haven't bought a single wick jar from YC in awhile - had kind of sworn off of them in favor of the tumblers - but I liked this one for February and couldn't resist it. It's actually giving off a fair amount of scent and compliments the Crosscreek tart pretty well....Just hope it burns well and doesn't tunnel on me.

Happy Friday! Kids have a half day so I'm working my afternoon hours in the morning before I have to pick them up. I'm melting Mulberry (Tuscadero's) and Cracklin' Birch (whatever wax vendor sells at Hobby Lobby - Just discovered these)......Earlier I burned a candle from Cheryl - Home Sweet Home (YC dupe). I'm going to make some Good Earth tea and get to typing!

LLVV - I'm with you on the YC tealights. They are all I use. Pricey, but they are the only ones I have found that burn steady, not too hot, and last a long time. They just feel safer to me.

DD is home sick again today - a little worse than yesterday (fever, icky cough, etc.) I don't think it's anything serious, just viral gunk that will pass, but still no fun for her....or me really. Right now I am melting Caramel Cinnamon Latte from Crosscreek, also trying to burn Sparkling Cinnamon (2-wick medium tumbler from YC) but I actually cut one of the wicks too short a few burns ago and the darned thing hasn't been the same since. We'll see how it goes. Still wet here in the desert today. We were actually under a tornado warning last night which is very odd for us.

Thanks for the well wishes for my daughter - she's feeling better but the cough sounds nasty so I'm not sure if she'll stay home tomorrow again or not. She had pneumonia last year about this time so I'm watching it carefully. In between scents right now - can't decide. Cat - I'm anxious to hear how you like the HL wax. I keep window shopping the website.
