    This late afternoon I'm melting a favorite Can-Do Mimi's House.

    My oldest DS and his GF became engaged yesterday. They live in Penn. and he works for Boeing. This is so very exciting because it has been a long time since some positive happy times have been in our house. I don't know what type of wedding they will plan but maybe an exotic port somewhere and hopefully we will be able to be included. I'm just happy for them and this bit of news...Have a great Saturday evening. The sun has come out and it is beautiful here in Indiana this evening. th_smiley_emoticons_hurra_fruehling3.gif

    Hang in there Laurie..it will be worth the wait and less chance for a screw-up at your expense.

    I am melting Tara's- Fifteen. Also trying some votives from House of Soy. The votives have been pretty decent but there is a very highly perfumey smell when the bags are opened. After out of the bag and lit, I can't seem to smell that but it really is strong. The one I am burning now is cedar, geranium and eucalyptus. The few tarts I ordered are the same way. Anyone have thoughts on this oddity? We are having June like weather here and I am going to enjoy each day because I know at some point we still have some Winter left.

    Laurie: Hope you have some great pain meds and are off to dreamy land this evening.

    I am melting Tara's Candle Cottage..Fifteen..this smells just so great. I'm very impressed with the cold sniff on the tarts and I'm sure will enjoy melting away. Luving this 70+ weather and wondering when will the bottom fall out. The magnolia trees are starting to open and I saw forsythia in bloom too. THis is just crazy for our area.     A few years ago Avon had a scent from their Planet Spa line called Arizona Hot Sands. I always loved this very unusual scent and I had a set with tea lights,sand, wax chips and mini candles. My nose can not "pick out" the base notes of this scent and would love to have some one duplicate it since I still have a couple of tea lights. Any thoughts, or if someone actually carries this scent I would love to find it. I know some one out there has probably smelled this beautiful scent before. Thanks so much...y'all have never failed me yet.

    [smilie=th_oregonian_mornincoffe Jules: You silly girl...I honestly think I have done the same thing before...My vehicle is in the shop replacing a rusted back up light assembly. I guess it has been getting moisture through a cracked lense so just changing the bulb won't fix the problem.

    I am melting Scentsible Scents votive Mint to Be. The sun is shining and I think it will be about 60 here today.

    Has anyone caught the show on Animal Planet, My Cat from Hell. I absolutely LOVE this show and have learned so many things about cat behavior. It's a very interesting show. Y'all have a wonderful day.

    Michele: So sorry about the theft..it's the worse feeling and I had that happen to me back in the day. I am trying to use up my Yankee Holiday Sage candle. It is a wonderful scent but just not strong enough. I'm also melting CFTKR Christmastime. Have a wonderful day candle friends. I'm hoping for a warmer day tomorrow.

    WOw: Too much loss on here. Y'all are in my prayers and hugs to all..

    I am burning Scentsible Scents- Primitive Gatherings. This is a great scent and I am SO glad I tried this company. There has not been a dud in the whole bunch. I'm always on the look out for a great votive. I can't believe where February has went. I'm ready to get outside and do some "digging" in the dirt. Have a great afternoon.

    Happy Saturday to all...still burning my Rosemary Verbena votive and also melting Luna Bleu Uninhibited. This is one fresh scent and is filling my LR quite nicely. Well, having a redo on our new kitchen floor tile grout. The color we used (light) and then sealed as we were suppose to did not hold up. It looks terrible and seems to be attracting any kind of dirt, stain, etc. We found a place on line and they can mix up any color of grout stain so we are attempting to try this before having to remove all of the grout. This time we went with Mocha. I will let you know how it all turns out. Wishing all a great Saturday afternoon.

    Hey back to you Aria..hope all is well with everyone..I am burning Slatin Marshmallow Fireside candle. This is a great scent but I can't smell much from it and it's in a small room to boot. I just started Winter Festival in my LR from LSC. I'm very disappointed in my tax refund...almost 3,000.00 less than it's ever been. I couldn't file itemized and they have done away with several credits. I had planned to pay off some bills and such but not enough to really worry with. They keep saying how the economy is looking up, but I sure haven't seen it at my house. It's just so frustrating because we never take vacations, or do much of anything. Even the eating out has almost ceased..we never did much anyway but geesh...thinking "why do we even bother to own a home" I think it may be just better to pay rent these days. Any thoughts..I'm just frustrsted...

    So sorry for your loss Debra...

     

    This morning I'm melting Can-Do Bendel Bean and Yankee jar candle Deck the Halls. This would have been a great scent if I could have smelled it. I'm disappointed in the throw from the jar candles from the holidays. Making my way down town to take DS to school this afternoon. The Super bowl mini city is coming to life and soon it will be total chaos down town. Have a great day everyone.

    Sweet: I'm glad this little guy found you. Can you believe how some people treat their little furry babies?

    I have a new printer. It's a wireless 4 in 1 so it is hooked up at this point and I can print.

    This afternoon I am melting a jelly jar candle from Scentsible Scents in creme Brulee'. I hope she has a sale son so I can order some more of the great scented votives. My supply is dwendling fast.

    Sweet: I'm glad to hear you like the Bittersweet scent from Scentsible Scents. This scent will be in my next order. I am burning Twigs and Teacups from SS and also melting Panna Cotta from Cozy Cottage. This is just one beautiful, drool worthy scent... [smilie=th_drool33456183iw4] We are getting a respectable snowfall this afternoon. Hopefully, not too much though. I have to drive downtown later this afternoon to take DS to his class.     I feel your pain Laurie. I waited almost a year to have a new bridge installed because of decay with the existing bridge. long story short, ins. would not pay the 1000.00 on this bridge because it had been under 10 YEARS since it was INSTALLED. So, it ended up costing me 5,000 plus. Luckily I was able to make payments through a Care Credit plan they had. I made the last payment in Dec. I know the health issues it can cause, so if any way possible have the work done..is there a dental school in your area? This may be another option.
