Maggie: I love LSC Sweet Grass and Cedar...It's so unique and so good...I've been melting LSC Triple Berry Bread and Taras Marshmallow Cookies. I hope all is well with everyone. It was much cooler here today high 80's and much less humidity. Mpfand: I also can appreciate the thrill of a great vacuum...enjoy..I hope it is dong a great job for you..

Thank you all for your kind scentiments. Trep: The poem is beautiful, I really appreciate it today. I haven't even started melting today. Temps are slightly better mid 90's today. I"m so blessed to have all of you in my world>

So sorry for your loss Michelle. It's so hard to watch them grow older and with health issues on top. May he rest in peace. I lost my friend, and my massage therapist over the 4th too. I think he had a heart attack at home watching a movie and sometime within the day his VCR caught a wicker set on fire. in his LR. He had not been feeling well for a few weeks and I was concerned since he had had heart surgery several years ago. I am thankful they have determined that he was gone before the fire. Harry was such a kind person, healer, and wonderful therapist. I am in shock and I guess we just never know the last time we really say "see you next week" to someone if there will be a next time. So, I need to melt me up some "Spa" scents in his honour tomorrow.

Hope it's cooler in your neck of the woods. 108 here in Indy today. Relief is coming soon, I hear...

My house is a wreck..on a mega paint marathon on DS room..I like the colors, a cool yellow(Butter) and a light turquoise(Catalina) ..I will be on the hunt for some new blinds and bed spread and area rung to tie together. It's a huge improvement from the forest green walls and these colors are what I think Florida colors would be.

 

Today I'm melting LSC Pine Mint Blossoms. This is more floral than I like, but would be really nice in a bath or bedroom. Also finishing up Can-Do Twilight Woods.

Still no sign of rain here..I think all the watering will be in vain in the long run. Have a great Sunday afternoon.

I'm burning Scentsible Scents votive Prairie House, and Carol's Vamp Vogue.

Another hot one here, so I will be watering again this evening.

Michelle: I also have been dismissed a couple of times from jury duty. I don't think they liked my answers. There is not a lot of "gray" with me...so guess not a good candidate. Stella: How frightening for you and I am so glad you are o.k. What causes this condition? My youngest has been suffering from panic attacks and it scares me when this happens to him.

I am melting on e of my last Everyday Whims melts, Starry Nights. I do so miss this company. .I know there are so many to choose from these days, but this was a great company with top notch CS.

 

I just got done watering my flowers and they look pitiful. We need a rain in the worst way.

I've been out of the loop for too long. Aria: Ozzy is just adorable. I'm sure he has stolen everyone's heart in your family by now.

 

I went wedding dress looking with my FDIL last Saturday and she found her dress. There was not one that she tried on that looked bad. So, I guess the fun will begin. I have 2 sons so this will be all new to me. It's been way too long since my own wedding.

I've been melting lots of scents LSC Cedarwood Mint comes to mind. Also, I got a new order from TDC. Rustic Lodge is really nice, Cedarwood Vanilla...yummy... and today I think I'll start with their Bergamot Spice one of my favorite scents.

I hope all is well with everyone and I've missed everyone's post.

Melting Tara's Pink Apple Fluff...this is a really great scent. I've been busy since DS was home. His GF/fiance' is staying on and trying to get some wedding plans started. She is also having gallbladder surgery.. I hope all is well in Candleland.

Aria: So very nice of your DH for his generous enabling. I hope my computer holds out a bit longer here..It's getting up there in age.

Laurie: Congrats to your sons...I love to read of all of the accomplishments here. My oldest played violin in school. This time of year always takes me back to when my boys were in school and the year end awards.

Maggie: Glad your little one is feeling better. I love the 1/8 pound reference!! This could be a nail and hair trim. I'm enjoying my 1803 finds. This morning I'm melting VIntage Daisy. We have 5 yards of much need mulch coming tomorrow, so there will be sore muscles at my house. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Oh yea, I also melted LSC Prailine Encrusted French Toast yesterday and it is to die for if you dig bakery type scents.

Glad to be back in my Home Sweet Home... I had a good visit home. I found some 1803 melts in a little shop in Southern Il. The scents I brought home are Lavender Sugar and Vintage Daisy. I also bought a soy candle and melts from a company called The Junkie Hippie. The small candle is Twig Berry and is throwing great in my LR and the melts are Herb Garden. I am very happy with my finds. I think The Junkie Hippie is on FB and I hope to be able to order some things from her. I hope all is well in the Candleworld and I've missed my candle buddies.

The same thing happen to me Shortygal last week on 2 different days. So, I had to make a trip to the PO and stand in their line while they talk and ignore people. This morning I am melting LSC-Let Them Eat Cake. This is a wonderful scent for those who don't like the straight up bakery scents. I'm getting ready to go and vote in our primary today. I hope y'all are well and the Spring weather is being kind in your area. I plan to go and visit my Mom and sisters next week so it seems like there is always a lot to take care of around here before I leave. Have a great week...

Missed that show Sweet. Yea, not the best choice for his "sniff" test. This morning I'm melting Tara's Candle Cottage Supercalifragilistic. This is a great one for those who can't get enough of the vanillas. It's cold here..must be one of our "Winters" I'm not sure if it's spirea or blackberry. Everything is about 4 or 5 weeks ahead this year. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I may snag on to some LSC if they get their site up and running. .

Oh, mpfand I'm so glad you caught this early..it's still a major pain in the a** and so violating. Christy: Glad kitty is adjusting well. Today I am burning votices from House of Soy Nag Champa and Campfire and Marshmallow. Also have TDC in my LR going Bergamot Spice(a top 10 fav. of mine). I'm going to dinner with my future DIL and her Mom. This should be lots of fun and also I won't have to cook!! Wishing all a great afternoon..

Christy: I'm so sorry your fur baby had to go live with the "grandparents'..I bet they will just love him/her to death. I lost one of our long-time outside ferals last week and I'm just so sad. I knew the day I was able to touch her that something was bad wrong with her because she had never been touched or held. I petted her and actually moved her up and made a warm bed for her. I don't know if something got a hold of her or she was just "old and tired"..Sad Eyes did know human touch before she passed and I was so glad that it was me that gave her love. She was the one that used to sleep on top of our chimney during Winter.

I am looking forward this week to having a "girly" dinner with my future DIL and her Mom...time to do a little celebrating. Well, I guess I better post something "smelly". Today , I've been melting LSC- Aspen Meadows. I'm ready to place another order with them too Cristy, I have a hard time catching the sale. I melted Fluffed Caramel Apples from Tara's Candle Cottage last week and I thought it was just wonderful..a reorder for sure. Have a great week and I need to be a better poster.

Thank you so much for the well wishes for my son and his fiancee' (that sounds funny). They are a good match I think. I've been in and out a lot this week but this morning I am melting LSC Peppermint Marshmallow Snow. YUMMY!!....I also have a votive going in my hideaway room from HOS Amber Romance. WE are going to a Pacer game this evening. A rep friend of my DH has extra,FREE tickets 5 rows behind the bench so it's time to blow off some "stink". Have a great day friends.
