    Michele, I hope your home stays safe (and you too of course!).

     

    DH and I canceled a trip this weekend and we're hunkered down at home today. Classes at the college where he works have already been canceled for tomorrow, which is unusual. We are doing what we can to be ready to lose power. Luckily my candle collection always comes in handy for these sorts of things.

     

    In the meantime, I'm melting LOL Waffles Supreme and SH Orange Chiffon Cake.

     

    Stay safe Christy and I know you will be stocked with candles!!!

    Thanks about the Hurricane Sweet and Halo! It is nutz around here...the shelves in the stores are bare and your couldn't find a generator within miles of here even if you paid $1,000.000 bucks. I am REALLY hoping that it doesn't come ashore like they predict. We are right in the path too, Michele!

     

    Still figuring out what to melt...

    We are heading down to the beach house this morning to take in our furniture and secure everything. Everything there and where I live in New York is supposed to be in an area that is supposed to get hit hard. I hope this one just fizzles out. They are preparing for the worst. My mom' s dialysis center is going to be open tomorrow in case people are unable to get there on Monday.

     

    I went out with my friends last night and they said I smelled like pumpkin lol. I had been melting LOL Sweet Gooey Pumpkins.

     

    Have a great day everyone ! Maybe I will get some melting in tonight.

    Hey y'all..It's a beautiful crisp morning and our Fall trees will be peaking next week. Has anyone every been to a pain management clinic? My DS is going in a couple of weeks for a consultation. He has on going, random shooting, radiating pain in his tail bone to butt check area since he had a pilonidal cyst removed off his tail bone in June. The Dr. just did a CT scan and everything came back clear, so there is no logical reason for the stabbing bouts of pain he is experiencing. He is also a high addiction candidate, so I am really concerned about going this route with treatment. He also is taking xanax and paxil currently. He is actually going along with me today for a massage. I think it sounds like some sort of neuropathy but IDK. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.

     

    This morning I am melitng CFTKR CIder Barrel. I also have been melting TDC CInnamon Bread Pudding for the past 2 days.

    th_sHellobar.gif Hope all is well in Candle Land... I've been melting some old and new melts. TDC- Egyptian Dragon, CInnamon Toast, LSC- Autumn Leaves, Ancient Incense, Indian Sandalwood, CFTKR- Autumn, Scentsible Scents votive Twigs and Teacups.

    I hope to get together with some girly friends this week...it's been way too long. Also, getting ready to watch the Colts game here in a few...Have a fantastic week everyone.

    It's a rainy Friday here and so I am layzeeeee........

    I'm melting Can-Do Falling Leaves, TDC-Rustic Lodge, and Bergamot Spice.

    We are actually mowing our grass again and it has recovered from the drought almost 90 %.

    No new wedding news here but it's still 8 plus months away.

    My youngest DS is back in classes at our community college and hoping to transfer after this semester. He's taking biology and this is his nemesis this semester.

    I'm still easing back into my walking routine.

    I hope all is well with everyone and Trep I hope your Dad gets to feeling better soon.

    Boy is it Muugly" here today. DH has been off for a few days and worked on a mystery plumbing situation and now I have full flowing water in my bath tub...love my baths...th_51991986.gif. I'be been melting some various scents over the past few days Can-Do Coco Frost Mint, Lessie's Haunted House, Lessie's Birthday Cake, Mimi's House Carols-Autumn Fields.

     

    I hope y'all are well and enjoying some fabulous scents.

    I have Lessie's Prim WIshes simmering from my NEW order from Can-Do...I was so happy to get some new Fall smellies from Donna. It is feeling more like Fall slowly settling in in the evenings here. This has been a very nice preview to a wonderful Fall. I'm also melting. My youngest DS starts back to his classes tomorrow. He goes to a local Jr. College so he still lives at home. I hope everyone is doing fine..

    Hey, y'all..melting LSC Tobacco Caramel this morning. I'm getting ready to head out to the grocery store and need to check out some lap tops this afternoon for DS. He will back in class this Wednesday. It's a beautiful day here and it's time to start cleaning out some of my flower beds that did not recover from the summer drought. Have a wonderful weekend.

    This morning I'm melting TDC-Rustic Lodge and LSC Triple Berry Bread.. both scents are wonderful...

    Lots of little kidlets going back to school on our street. Our township is changing to year round school..I'm glad my boys are older. Although, I have heard many people say they do like being on the year round school schedule..

    I really need a couple of good tart sales. I've been trying to use up some older scents and I'm ready for Fall..

    Rose: Instant Wood sounds like an interesting scent. I haven't ordered from UV before. Do you have any favorites from there? I'm melting my last TDC Rustic Lodge today. This is a great scent and I need to reorder. School started today in our township, so the buses are running. Time to run a couple of errands so y'all have a great day...ssshopping.gif

    Maggie: I think anything with a pink sugar blend always reminds me of my twin nieces. Hope the party goes very well..Jules..never was a "bandie" but I know those kids go through a lot at the camps and they are so devoted!! I'm "firing" up a votive from Scentsible Scents -Prickley Pear scent. Also, one of my last LOL- American Dream tarts. I hope all is well with everyone. It will be a little cooler the next few days here..At least it is out of the triple digits.

    Finally: A wee bit of rain has fallen in our area...I don't know if it will be enough to green things up or not. I've been melting some odds and ends. One in particular, Blue Gecko-Bella from Twilight series days. I'm trying to use up some older ones because it's almost time to order some great Fall scents. I hope all is well with everyone. I have started mall walking after a 2 year hiatus. It's something I've been meaning to do again for a long time, so I hope this will help increase my energy level soon. Have a great evening candle buddies.
