  1. Maggie, I hope you are feeling better today...although the fact you emptied a cart has me a little worried about you! ;)

AmyJo, that is an interesting take on the fashion show! The idea sounds so glamorous, but often reality is a different story!

Also, the Black Vetyver Coffee is also Black Vetiver Café type (Jo Malone) from some vendors. I primarily notice the Vetyver in most versions, although some do pick up roasted coffee.

Michele, when you say you are going to New York it seems so simple! Thinking about going from here would be a really big trip. Envious!

Tonight it is Colonial's Topaz Waters.

  2. Thanks, AmyJo - I have never attempted removing cactus spines! Sounds like it could be ouchy! [smilie=th_yellow5]

Susan, I seem to have a bunch of OOB vendors that were not around for very long.

    Biolaeagles, what a fun time!

It is supposed to be 80 degrees this week! Then back to rain for the weekend. [smilie=th_thanimeomega_emoticon

Tonight it is a Shaving Cream here too - L3 - Sweeny Todd. A blend with Blue Sugar, Vanilla Patchouli and SC. :sHa_thumbgoodjob:

  3. I want to jump on the Cactus and Sea Salt bus! [smilie=th_LOVE]

AmyJo - I am intrigued by your cactus smoothies. What goes into them?

A little serendipity...I woke up to a text from DS telling me he had just arrived in Austria. (A vacation in Europe after tax season!)

Anywhoooo...I went to pick my morning melt and did a reach and grab in my VCS drawer. No peeking, I promise - and the one I pulled out was Maria Von Trapp's Austrian Escape! Ha! (It is a citrus blend.) [smilie=yes]

  4. Susan, I was cold sniffing that one this morning, wondering it I would like it better melting... [smilie=th_confused3]

I had the house to myself today so I launched into some deep cleaning. Remember what a big deal Spring Cleaning used to be? So, scents going in every room to help me out. [smilie=th_shewiggle] Here are some:

Dining room - CFTKR - Green Tea Elation

    Kitchen - Cheryl's - Huckleberry

Bath - Blue Skies, vendor not on the label

    Bedroom - Blueberry Pumpkin Candle - B&BW

  5. Thanks for your concern, honeybear! Crazy how fast it happens, isn't it? I am glad DH's apt. went well, and I know what you mean, it is hard to not be impatient!

AmyJo - I second raspberry with patchouli and another one I like is blood orange. Around Halloween there are several vendors that do patchouli blends, so keep an eye out! :confettistars:

Tonight - Sweet Sage - Grape Giggles.

  6. Susan, I hope you get a good rest with some good smelling wax! I also have a couple of CPAs in the family and they are very happy that today it is pretty much over. [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr

AmyJo - I hope you like the patchouli - I really like it blended with other scents. And...Vetiver and Bergamot are always in supply here. [smilie=th_slider_flirt]

Thank you for the black-eye condolences! I feel so silly! [smilie=th_roll]

Tonight it is Cheryl's Chai Latte.

  7. Hi! It was fun to read and get caught up. I took a nosedive on the sidewalk...boy am I sore and I have a black eye since my cheek hit the ground. People look at you funny when you are all dressed up for work and you have a black eye! [smilie=th_thanimeomega_emoticon

Honeybear, I hope DH is just working hard with all you have been doing and there went the pounds!

Maggie! Happy, Happy Birthday! [smilie=th_HBGraffitiSmiley] I hope it was fabulous and involved wax.

AmyJo - for the cinnamon roll waffles - I just separated them and set them on the grilly part, closed the lid and pushed a little. It does not take long, my first couple were toastier than I would have liked. Then drizzle with the icing that comes with them.

Tonight - Shayz Scentz - Spring Rain.

  8. Honeybear, I hope this time is not too difficult, sending you a big hug.

Maggie, the trouble seems to be the DVD, everything else is playing.

Michele, I am hoping for the best for you and Mom. You have a lot of support here.

I see CBV, and Zeep have things going this weekend. I tried using the hot summer weather ban for a couple years, but when an order got here and nothing was melty during the heat, I had to let go of that one! [smilie=th_pardon] I just make sure they don't sit in the sun for hours. I helps to have a nice postman/woman that tucks packages in the shady areas of the porch.

Tonight it is Creative Enchantment - Lemongrass Sage.

  9. Over halfway to the weekend!! DH will be away...I can play with the kitties and waxies! That sounds a little wacky, even to me! [smilie=th_thanimeomega_emoticon

I am trying to watch a DVD and it keeps stopping and going back to the same chapter over and over. I can't get it to move forward past this point. [smilie=th_ANGRY_10] Twenty minutes left and I won't get to see the ending it seems! I guess it is like the Choose Your Own Adventures that the kids used to read. I can make it up!

Honeybear, sounds like some good mail it heading your way!

    Tonight - Mimi's Tarts - Black Sea.

  10. Yep, Maggie, we made it through Monday. I spent a good portion of the day alternating between feeling good, then cranky about not buying in this past weekend's restocks and presales. [smilie=th_fear8]

Thankfully no snow here, but we are going into several days of rain. There goes my hairdo! <_>

Tonight it is Cheryl's Buttercream Crunch

  11. Good evening!

I should say when I get an order that looks like it will be a dud, I tend to melt through it pretty quickly. Generally those are the ones that are all crumbly or they are soy that has bloomed and has the white frosty stuff. I guess I figure that curing these won't save them! [smilie=th_thanimeomega_emoticon

I hope all goes well with your mom and the decisions you need to make, Michele. Hospice was a blessing for us in terms of just providing things our family member needed that we were not aware of.

So now you guys have me looking at CFOW's website again. This gal does not need any more wax! [smilie=th_butbutbut]

Tonight - Cherry on Top / Galaxy.

  12. Susan, I think April snow brings cranky people! [smilie=th_giggle]

Mpfand - I can picture your pool area - it sounds like a good place to spend your 80+ degrees!

Maggie, I am also having trouble smelling my scents - it seems once the seasons change so does my airflow. Now they are heading up to the guest bedroom where no one gets to appreciate them!

AmyJo - good work on your "custom" scent! [smilie=th_yahoo]

So here is my new question for you - if you order from a new vendor, and you get the order and it really does not impress you, maybe even seems like a dud - do you: toss them, put them away and forget about them, or melt them up really quick hoping for a surprise? [smilie=th_c032]

Tonight - CBV - Al Tori. Smells like a melon, fruity blend.

  13. Susan, I still have a few more Time & Again left. I also melted a Lime blend - I wonder if it was the Corriander one - this week! Not sure where the wrapper went. [smilie=th_slider_hi5]

Honeybear - poor Zoe! I have a couple fraidy cats - the doorbell rings and off under the bed they go!

AmyJo - it is good you like travel for your job! Do you go to the same place frequently?

Tonight - TCC - Pumpkin Gingerbread Ice Cream Sandwiches.

  14. Good evening! I hope it is the end of your snow! We didn't have snow but it was 36 degrees this am...I was horribly underdressed for that type of "spring" weather! [smilie=th_thanimeomega_emoticon

Honeybear, I am excited for your pool! Just think of all the pool toys you can shop for! I love the floating lounge chairs that have the beverage holders!

    [smilie=th_WE1summer013]

Tonight is one of my favorites - Woodland Orange Spice - CFTKR. [smilie=th_fabulous1]
