  1. Good Friday Evening everyone! Sorry I have been so busy-not able to get back and post much this week.

Sweet-Our little girl will get to be around 40-50 lbs when she is full grown.

We have decided to name her Madeline-Maddie for short. Her full registered name is -

"JaydeCat's Madeline Pie" Pie is my 5 yo's contribution and I absolutely love it!

This is the new picture I just got of her today...

As for grooming around a Shih Tzu's eyes-my little guy has always had such eye issues that I had to find a great pair of detail scissors to keep his eyes clear between groomings-so I use these

    Irreplacable!

    For melting-

    LOL-Vanilla Crack

    HL-something white-don't know what though

    CYS-Gourmet Sugar Cookie

Hope you all have a great night.

  2. Good morning!

Its a sunny, cold day in MO-hope you get shoveled out soon Fleur and congrats on flowers peeking out Deb! Congrats on your new girl-I love shelter animals! They do make the best pets-I am thinking its because they are grateful for the kindness of a loving home. I foster, and you wouldn't believe the conditions these little guys are brought into the shelter.

I have just purchased my first "purebred" though(I have always gotten animals through the shelter-so this is a big deal for me). She is an english bulldog, born just on the 9th of this month. We get to bring her home in April-and I am in love. I am anxious to see how the rest of my "entourage" does with her. My big dog is such a baby himself-I am wondering about sibling rivalry. He is the most gentle guy in the world, and gets along wonderfully with the Shih Tzu-and anyone else whom has passed through the doors. I think it will be fine, as long as I let him lay on my feet and give him my attention as well.

    Anyway-on to melting...

This morning brings-Fruit Loops Can Do

    Juniper Breeze-Just Tarts

and I thought I grabbed a lemon pie tart from Crystal Clear-except it turned out to be banana cream pie...I hate it when that happens. I do hope it doesn't blend in a yucky way with the others.

    Have a great day.

  3. Good Morning-

Sounds like a lot of you are finding the joy in unexpected winter-so glad that the kids got to see snow.

I love pajama gram-too bad he doesn't ever send me one-sniff, pout...I also like the warm cozy pj's.

What a great surprise of flowers at the door-sounds like a keeper Momuvtwo.

We had a great day yesterday as a family-took the kids to Crown Center and ran around "the mall"-eating at the Crayola Cafe, making fabulous art masterpieces at the Crayola store, going to the "cat" boutique(my 10 yo dd said she was in heaven),ice cream, and riding the glass elevator all the way to the top-pausing to look at the city-and whoosh!!!-back down again. Great until the oldest came down with tonsilitis in the afternoon-my youngest just got over it. I am such a dork that I didn't realize it was contagious-its not strep, so I assumed it was okay. At least she had fun before the headache landed us at the pharmacy and sleep all the way home.

    This morning's melting=

  4. Just got back on after a couple of days-wow lots to catch up on!

Thanks again to everyone for the well wishes-I am starting to get a little excited, so hopefully all will go well.

Yes, the home market is looking up a bit-not in leaps and bounds, but hoping we have a little luck in selling. I agree about downsizing-I get so overwhelmed keeping up sometimes, I'll be glad to only have one floor to clean!

This afternoon I am melting lavendar from HL and Pink Sugar Buttercream from LOL.

    Have a great evening everyone.

LLVV-sorry about the melter. You can take your dd out shopping with you and let her pick the new melter-that would make her feel really good I'll bet.

Maggie-glad you are starting to feel better.

  5. Whew-what a day... thanks everyone for the well wishes. My biggest fear on selling the house is that my 100 lb lap dog will frighten the neighbors when he bolts up on the deck and porch-looking to get inside. I am sure it will take hime some time to adjust-this is the only house he has ever lived in, and he is such a good dog that we never chain him up-he stays right inside his turf. I'll have to keep him right with me on the leash when he goes out, for a while. [smilie=th_a025]

Anyway-I have a couple of people that have already given me their card to look at the house, if we ever sell. So, I think it will be a smooth transaction-I hope so since we have already spent 5 years working to renovate and remodel. It looks great and will be good for another large family.

I am looking forward to the break in expenses for sure-I will have more wax buying money! LOL! Kidding-sort of... I am sure we will put the extra funds to great use with all the plans we have already made for the house. [smilie=th_bomb]

Hope things level out soon for everyone dealing with the messes associated with this winter weather.

For the night I put on what I thought was eucalyptus from HL, but it turned out to be something with cinnamon in it-hmmm???

Have a good night all-sorry for my long ramble...

  6. Just put on LOL Japanese Pear and Ginseng-it has barely begun to melt and its about to choke me! SO STRONG! Yowza-I may have to move it upstairs!

    Great scent, but very strong...

On that note, we just finished signing the contracts to purchase my neighbors house today-it is quite a bit smaller than our current home, so I am going to have to "start all over" in terms of how to scent the new house...

I hope our house sells quickly too! I love this big ole gal, but the cost of renovation, with the monthly expenses to have gas, lights, water, etc, is unreal! We can't wait to start remodeling the new house! I think we are just DIY junkies!

Hope you all have a great day!

  7. I am so tired-dd had a sleepover and birthday party yesterday-I had 11 little girls sleeping over-with me doing it all by myself! I feel like I have been to bootcamp! My whole body is sore!

Today is DH's birthday so it's fun all over again! He is 40 today-so we'll be running all day!

In honor of his bd-we are melting all "guy" scents in here(according to him).

    Edward-HL

    Stonehenge-HL

    Bel Vampiro-Blue Gecko

    Cedarwood-Backroad Hobbies

    Have a good day!
