    Good evening everyone. Thanks so much for all the encouragement and wonderful kindness. I will tell you that it really is a journey and a different way of life. I have only struggled with my weight since the birth of my children, and am the master of excuses when it came to dealing with it. I did not become successful until I really wanted it to work.

    I did this for me first-and also the hurt and prejudice that comes along with being obese.

     

    I loved WW and was successful with it for a while, but then stopped going when I became pregnant with my youngest-and did not commit to returning. I gained a lot of weight after she was born and felt content with it-for a while.

    After half heartedly trying every quick fix in the book, I knew that the only thing standing in my way was me. So, I did some research, and went to my dr. I have been working with him for the last year, and owe taking my life back to him.

     

    Whether its WW,working with your friends,dr., family, or just yourself-do whatever works for you and don't give up if you really want it.

     

    Stepping off this soap box! I promise-no more talk about it! :)

     

    My choice for the evening is-

    Lemon Buttercream-LOL(taking over the entire house)

    Vanilla Bomb-CFTKR

    Something that smells like cherry cake from Crystal Clear Candles(no scent labels on any of the tart cups-very irritating!!!)

    Looks like I missed a ton after a couple of days away-snoring cats, hubbies, and doggies-sounds like a typical day around here too!

    Wow-I am overwhelmed! Thanks for all of your kind compliments.

    I have been working very hard to get back in shape, so putting a picture up anywhere is a very new thing for me. I have been absolutely awful over the holidays and hope to be able to get back out and walking very soon too.

    I am with you CB-I just reorganized yesterday and realized that I am low on Can Do.

     

    Happy cleaning Gail! I sympathize with you-it seems like just when you get ready to sit down-someone else tracks something in around my house!

    Just went through and organized the big basket in the LR-so I pulled all of my older tarts to melt through-

    Right now its-Candledippers-sea salt caramel, celtic moonspice, and cactus sea salt.

     

    Just got the call from school that they will not go back tomorrow, due to "inclement weather"!!! :shock: They are stir crazy and driving me up the wall. I have tried every trick in the book to keep them entertained-from playing endless board games, working on several projects,experiments, and even book reading and cleaning. I guess I am going to have to start digging out the bus barn! Lol!

    Good Morning! Good to see everyone starting off with some great scents for the new year.

     

    I wanted to give a shout out for LOL's Orange Cranberry Muffin-this is one great scent! Had it melting last night and love it!

    Aria- she doesn't have it up on the site yet. This is a sample and it's pretty good. The closest I can describe it is similar to koolaid. The fruit punch kind-not as strong as LOL's Kool Punch, but is a nice addition to the other stuff going on around here.

     

    Trep-no freezing yet here, but it looks like we are bullseye for yuck on Christmas eve. I hope its not as bad as they say, because my family will not come down if its snowing-or the streets aren't clear. We'll have to keep watching and waiting.

    Good morning! There's nothing like a thunderstorm a couple of days before Christmas! Gotta love this Missouri weather! I took a different approach to my melting than you did, Trep-

    I went with mostly Christmas inspired scents to keep me in the "mood" [smilie=th_drinks]

    I looove crosscreek!! I have found that I don't particulary care for pink sugar blends on cold sniff even though it has all the notes I usually love. I will try melting one.

     

    Let me know what you think after you melt a blend. It is strange that the cold sniff can be so different than the hot throw-I have had times that I thought I didn't like a melt and put it off a million years. Then, with dread-put it on-to find that I absolutely loved it. Hopefully, that will be the case for you.
